Well this iz the first time I did this with a PO CD. I did a review! Here's my review:

Okay. I just got done listening to Promo Only Dance Radio May 2006 and here's what I think:

01. Rihanna "S.O.S. (Chris Cox Radio Edit)" -> Gotta start the CD off with a BANGER! Love this remix, especially the music right before the last chorus! Nice remix!

02. Narcotic Thrust Feat. Yvonne John Lewis - Waiting For You (Dave Whelan & DJ Scala Remix Edit) -> Good remix edit for this one! Like this and the Steve Mac remix. Definitely adding to my playlist.

03. Amuka - Craving (Al B Rich Remix Edit) -> LOVE that music! It's SO HOT! Okay vocals (better vocals on this radio edit rather than the Club Mix I had)! One of my favorite songs to play! Too bad the last 20 sec. izn't just the music which I really love at the end.

04. Luz Divina - Sorry (Radio Edit) -> Gave it a 77 of 100 on my Pump It Or Dump It earlier tonight. The song gets better when it's playing. Thought the vocals would be louder like "You Shine On Me". I love that music at 1:42!

05. Sarah Atereth - Fade Away (Mike Rizzo Radio Edit) -> Not bad, Valentin's iz like way better to me IMO, but sounds hot.

06. DJ X Feat. Jon Secada - What You Won't Do For Love (Radio Edit) -> Like the music in this one! Sounds great. Not bad vocals. Pretty much reminds me / sounds like a night time song.

07. Paul Oakenfold Feat. Brittany Murphy - Faster Kill Pussycat (Radio Mix) -> Content warning = yes? No to me. I don't hear any bad words. HOT song!! That music definitely rox! And Brittany Murphy singing...turnin' me on!

08. Pink - Stupid Girls (Hani's Stupid Remix - Radio Edit) -> :lol: They censored "f*ck"! :lol: Like this remix a lot! It sounds KTUish but they don't play it. Why?

09. Chanel - My Life (Haji & Emanuel Radio Edit) -> :lol: This makes me laugh when it's all sllllowwwwww! :lol: Sounds like a Houston, Texas dirty south Rap song screwed (slowed down)! :lol: Really like this song tho, but this version iz too slow! :lol: Music Choice Dance’s iz faster!

10. Mariah Carey - Say Somethin’ (Morales Radio Edit) -> NICE remix! Really like the music! The only thing iz after the 2nd verse u know I get disappointed 'cause no Snoop Dogg? :? Its ID should be Mariah Carey - Say Somethin’ (Morales Radio Edit) instead. :roll: :roll: :roll: I HOPE Young Jeezy's in "Say I (Remix)"...

11. Korn - Coming Undone (Dummies Radio Mix) -> I don't like it... :lol: "Twisted Transistor" Remix iz like 1430248723049825x better!!! That mix was just SO HOT and I even like the original "TT" better. This iz just SOOOOOO not interesting! Dance songs/remixes are supposed to make me feel good. This? No! It feels like I'm listening to metal music now. :x

12. India.Arie - I Am Not My Hair (Wigged Out Remix) -> The music iz okay. The first few seconds before the first verse starts had me crackin' up! :lol: But the song doesn't seem catchy for me.

13. Natasha Bedingfield - The One That Got Away (Wamdue Pop - Rocks Mix) -> This song sounds pretty good! It doesn't really sound like her tho but great remix! I never heard the original tho.

14. Jenn Cuneta - Let Me Take You Away (Radio Edit) -> WOW HOT SONG! And no, there's no ringtone music in this one! It samples "We Are Family"! Great vocals and great music! Such a FUTURE Summer 2006 anthem! This iz my favorite song that I've never heard from the CD!

15. Blondie vs. The Doors - Rapture Riders (Single Edit) -> Content warning yes? What's bad with the words to this song? Pretty good type of song for a party. I like The Doors' vocals but it's not too catchy for me. Thumbs up to The Doors!

16. Mink - Glory Of Life (Chris Cox Radio Mix) -> You know I love this song! Definitely a great song when something really good happens in real life! BTW, I like the club version that I shortened to a 3:53 edit better. Sometimes I feel like this radio edit was jammed in or something and that nice long intermission after "so this iz my song for the glory of life" iz really short unlike the club / MCD mix.

17. Janice Grace - Geisha Girl (Tracy Young Miami Remix Radio Edit) -> Aww! :P A girl talkin' about another girl! What's a "Geisha girl" anyway? Not the catchiest for me. Music's okay. Vocals are iight.

18. Christina Milian Feat. Young Jeezy - Say I (Maurice Radio Edit) -> Wow didn't expect this remix to be this good. Thumbs up to Maurice! Nice that it has the original music to it unlike sounding boring like "Check On It" or "One Wish". But...ONE THING THAT DISAPPOINTED ME: NO YOUNG JEEZY?!?! He only says like 3 words "chea......aye....yeah...". That disappointed me bad. Great remix. I don't know if I wanna add it tho 'cause I NEVER add Rap Edits... :x

19. Above & Beyond Feat. Richard Bedford - Alone Tonight (Ronski Speed Edit) -> Like it. Not bad. I can't tell the difference between the Radio Edit and this mix 'cause I didn't catch on too much to the Radio Edit, but not bad. 8)

20. Gustavo Santaolalla - The Wings (Theme From Brokeback Mountain) (Manny Lehman, Tony Moran & Warren Rigg Collaboration Remix - Radio Edit) -> I NEVER really thought I'd have a BIGGER filename than Bun B Feat. Lil' Keke, Slim Thug, Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Aztek, Lil' Flip & Z-Ro "Draped Up (H-Town Remix)" and now I do. :lol: The first time I heard this, I really love the music, but I didn't hear any words, so I went along with it, and I REALLY like this! Great song with no words! And it's ABOUT DAMN TIME I got the Radio Edit!

21. Wonderland Avenue - White Horse -> Somewhat catchy. Nothing special. I like the part "rich.........bitch!"


Overall: Great CD, although the first 1/2 was way better!
The no Snoop Dogg and no Young Jeezy parts were THE MOST DISAPPOINTING parts, although Young Jeezy's was 1,000x worse to not hear him! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

One final flashback review for PO: Promo Only: Dance Radio April 2006; This one also gon be in tha perspective of it bein’ 2006, still. However, any review after this one gon be in tha exact perspective of when I first heard/reviewed each PO, since I really started with tha May 2006 CD, back on April 29, 2006! Oh yeah, I forgot, when I first started becomin’ cool wit my best friend, Lil’ Frankie, back on July 20, 2006, I think a few dayz later, I wound up reviewin’ tha songs I ain’t hear on this CD. However, I posted it on tha Party 105 forum and I don’t have tha posts saved. Start Time: 12:18 PM | End Time: 1:00 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Olav Basoski Feat. Michie One “Waterman (Radio Edit)”

Saw iPR get it outta nowhere in February 2006 and I instantly thought it was a classic/old song. However, it was a new song, signed with Robbins! Great to have a reggae vocalist like Michie One hop on a dance track; killer joint, right chea!! Super-addictive, as well!! My Current Rating: 4.9

02. Kristine Hendricks “You’ve Got It All (Valentin Radio Mix)”

½ of QED, right chea!! A cover of tha old song by The Jets and she sounds great with this one!! Of course, have to show her & Valentin tha most luv fa providin’ that pure sound to tha dance world!! Great job, you guys!! My Current Rating: 4.4

03. Jana Jana “Typical Girl (Radio Edit)”

An unsigned song (label’s www.janajana.com <- Loved when websites were tha label!!) and it’s pretty catchy! Beats are nice and fast and tha song/vocals sound like they’re for tha pop world. I mean, with it bein’ unsigned, who knows where it could go! My Current Rating: 4.3

04. Kim Sozzi “Alone (Johnny Budz Radio Mix)”

Anotha remake on this CD but by anotha pure vocalist/pure remixer!!! On March 8, 2006 @ 5:33 PM, it premiered on Music Choice Dance and what an anthem!! Such powerful vocals with such fast, pure-soundin’ beatz by my boy, Budz!!! My Current Rating: 4.8

05. Kelly Clarkson “Walk Away (Craig J Radio Edit)”

Exactly four minutes before MCD got tha Kim Sozzi song, they got tha Chris Cox Radio Edit to this song. Personally, I like CC’s mix better than this mix, but this still ain’t bad ta have on here as a bonus mix. My Current Rating: 3.9

06. Kristy Kay “When You Find Love (Giuseppe D Radio Mix)”

And, a jackpot, here!! Gotta luv Kristy, as well as Giuseppe D!! Just luv tha vocals, especially during a phase! First gave it a listen on this PO with tha old post when I became cool with Lil’ Frankie and I was like, “Instant jackpot;” I should’ve played it, though! I didn’t play anything in 2006 that no one got, but this should’ve gotten exposure! Great song and great production!! My Current Rating: 4.8

07. Mickey “Mixin’” Oliver Feat. Jane Sheldon “Is It Love (NRG Radio Edit)”

Don’t remember; neva heard, so let’s see what our boy, Mickey, gon bring outta this! >>> A fade-in beat intro? Sounds hot and I had a feelin’ it was gon be fast!! Definitely diggin’ this fast, original-soundin’ beat as well as these vocals!! Ooh, that hot club synth after tha chorus!! Whoooottt!! What a strong dance song with how it sounds, altogether!! Kinda sounds a lil’ long by tha time tha 2^nd chorus comes along, but don’t worry, my interest’s still here! My Rating: 4.4

08. LL Cool J Feat. Jennifer Lopez “Control Myself (Nevins Elektrotek Edit)”

Glad that it has a remix, though I like tha original better; this sounds like it’s more for tha clubs than tha radio… My Current Rating: 3.6

09. Pleasure Center “Believe In Me (DJ Gabriel & Laz Radio Mix)”

One of my favorites from PO!! Thanx to them bein’ on here, they got to iPR and later reached #3 (around) on their playlist! Just luv tha vocals and those fast beats!! This whole entire song still has interest with me to this day; great flashback track to play!! I’ll always remember them showin’ me luv on MySpace; glad they appreciated a young, 18-year-old FrankieThaLuckyDog! My Current Rating: 5.0

10. Filterfunk “S.O.S. (Message In A Bottle) (Hi_Tack Radio Edit)”

LOL, a lil’ remake, here, from The Police… Sounds good for a remake; diggin’ those Hi_Tack beats after tha chorus… My Current Rating: 4.1

11. Ronny V Feat. Nanda “What If (Radio Edit)”

One year ago, it was on Promo Only: Rhythm Radio May 2005, released under Airmass Music. Now, Robbins signed it and it domestically made its appearance on Dance Radio! Great vocals and a hot beat from Ronny V! Too bad this was tha only song he released, and Nanda wound up bein’ a death metal vocalist? They showed me luv on MySpace back in January 2007 or somethin’ with my awards, so that was a good look right there! My Current Rating: 4.4

12. Lady Life “Holding Out For A Hero (Giuseppe D Radio Mix)”

Just like tha Kristy Kay song, this one’s released on Hothead Productions, as well! Anotha hot beat from Giuseppe, it looks like, with 142 on tha BPM pace? Neva really gave it a full listen, so here it goes! >>> Nice fast start and great vocals! Great-soundin’ beats; luv ‘em!! They later got popularized when D.H.T. released “I Go Crazy”, which I was glad there were a few more Giuseppe tracks at 142 – 145 BPM!! Nice chorus, here; definitely feelin’ tha anthemic vibes!! Excellent beat after tha chorus, as well!! My Rating: 4.7

13. De Lorean “Push It (Radio Edit)”

More remakes! Definitely feelin’ tha way they did tha Salt N Pepa beat! Too bad this was tha only song they released! Oh, Robbins was tha perfect exposure for one-hit dance wonders! But still, at least they gave ‘em one chance! My Current Rating: 4.4

14. Claudja “I Will Stand (Tony Moran & Warren Rigg Radio Edit)”

Ain’t really get to hear it when I wanted it. DonnaJean Records on this one, with 133 BPM! >>> Nice fast beat from TM&WR, as they’re my favorite producers/remixers!! Nice lil’ vocals, too; this track came out nice, unlike tha CeCe Winans one from tha previous PO! Great combination, here! Chorus ain’t too bad, either; feelin’ this… My Rating: 4.3

15. Ella “Forever Young (Pop Radio Mix)”

Neva really got ta listen ta this whole entire thing, too, but I know it’s a remake. >>> Luvin’ tha fast beats; ironic for a “Pop Radio Mix”, lol? Definitely trance-type quality, here, for tha mainstream! Luv how this CD has so many fast songs! If only this was today; my money would be all ova these jointz!! Until then, I’ll just have to keep treasure-hunting, as well as appreciating hardstyle! Great job with this song, overall; too bad it ain’t get tha right exposure! And, just as pure: a fade-out outro! My Rating: 4.3

16. Latrice “Illuminate (Album Version)”

MCD got this on March 8, 2006 @ 9:03 PM… Not really a fan of this; repetitive and it doesn’t sound that exciting for an attempt at dance music… I also hate that MCD’s beastin’ this song!! My Current Rating: 1.7

17. Persephone’s Bees “Nice Day (Chris Cox Radio Mix)”

I can see this bein’ addictin’; feelin’ tha vocals and that beat by CC! Nice job with this future gem!! My Current Rating: 4.7

18. Kim English “It Makes A Difference (Tony Moran & Warren Rigg Radio Edit)”

Anotha TM&WR appearance and it sounds great with this comeback! Nice job, Kim; feelin’ how you “make a difference, yeah!!” My Current Rating: 4.5

19. Disconfect Feat. Andrea Martin “Story Of My Life (Radio Edit)”

Robbins in tha buildin’ again! Disconfect = Hani; nice collab! Great vocals from Ms. Andrea and it’s nice to see them collab again! My Current Rating: 4.5

20. Lake Street Project “Forever (Bobby Blanco & Miki Moto Radio Edit)”

Kinda a shitty ending; weird, disco-y beat and vocals are just decent… My Current Rating: 3.1

Overall: Thought this was a nice CD, as well! Lots of really fast songs on here that paid off; great job, PO! My PO mission has been complete! I HAVE REVIEWED EVERY DANCE RADIO EDITION!!! Hope y’all appreciate it even MORE!! I might even be legendary at this point!!
