Got
plenty on my plate, at tha moment, but I think I should get this outta tha way:
My review for Promo Only: Dance Radio June 2013! I think this gon be a
kick-ass dance CD!! Start Time: 1:55
PM | End Time: 3:50 PM
Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> “ iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> “ iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.

01.
Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash Feat. John Martin “Reload”
Tha
David Guetta label, Astralwerks Records/Capitol Music Group, here. Caught it on
MCD (and, a snippet from you from last month’s review), and it sounds like a
big dance hit! *Rehears* >>> Such a big chorus and title part; prolly, tha biggest way to vocalize a
title in a long time!! Definitely feelin’ tha heavy-hittin’ EDM music and JM on
tha vocals!! Sounds better, for a dance song, than “DYWC” to me! My Current Rating: 4.7
02.
Rihanna Feat. David Guetta “Right Now”
Rihanna’s
label has never changed: SRP Records/Def Jam Recordings/Island Def Jam Music
Group. Was away for tha weekend, and they had Sirius (tha Dance channel) at my
aunt’s cabin. This came on, and I caught a lil’ bit of it. I think it’s gonna
be good; lemme rehear… >>> Sounds nice for tha beginning, and I’m
likin’ those mechanical beats after tha chorus, lol! Can’t help but really feel
it; I think we got a lotta summer anthems for this year! Also, I’m goin’ to
help my somewhat-girlfriend move to Cali
June 30/July 1, so a lot of these new songs are called for! My Rating: 4.5
03.
La Fuente “Matador”
A
new Robbins song… Not sure what to expect, but because this CD’s off to a real
great start, I know I’m expectin’ somethin’ good outta this one!! >>>
I dunno why, but I wasn’t expectin’ tha IDS to come at me, outta nowhere!! Wow,
real hot beats goin’ on here!! I can
spell “beats” messed-up, and it’ll still
come out correctly on what I think of this song: beast; it’s a beast!!!
Continous wit tha tight-ass beats!!! My
Rating: 4.9
04.
John De Sohn Feat. Kristin Amparo “Dance Our Tears Away”
Of
course, major label, Epic Records, that J.Lo & Shakira used to be signed
with, iz in charge of JDS. And, thanx to P105, I got this a few weeks ago, and
it’s anotha hot one!!! Big anthem-soundin’ beat wit some female vocals, this
time!! Much better than tha previous song!! My Current Rating: 4.5
05.
Luciana “U B The Bass”
Young+Vicious
label, here; NHO that label… Iz this tha song with Akon that I heard in Mike
Rizzo’s mix? If it iz, it sounded okay, but lemme get tha official listen,
here… >>> I had a feelin’ it wasn’t gonna be; real strong start and
sounds betta!! It’s in her rappin’ style, and it sounds nice over this beat!
LOL @ tha “move like Shakira” line, who I mentioned in tha review, previously. My Rating: 4.4
06.
Demi Lovato “Heart Attack (DJ Laszlo Radio Remix)”
Off tha Miley Cyrus/Selena Gomez label, Hollywood Records. Tha original itself sounded like it really needed a remix. I went through tha remixes I found on BP, but none were on an IC level for me. This was prolly one of ‘em, since it’s only 119 BPM. *Rehears* >>> Sounds like a Smash Mode remix; sounds good… Since there’s no quality mixes, I’ll just go for this one… Just two dayz ago, I felt like I was gonna have a “heart attack” wit this music business… It can be a bitch when you don’t get what you want! My Rating: 4.6

07.
M-3ox Feat. Heidrun “Beating Of My Heart (Matisse & Sadko Remix Edit)”
Older than Sandy!! Surprised this got on here; this iz before this (so far) gay-ass year that taste like throw up and shit in a Wal-Mart toilet!!! Now, Ultra got it! My Current Rating: 4.7

08.
Cazzette “Weapon”
Well,
this iz tha last song I’m reviewin’ from this CD ‘cause online, they took it
off tha tracklisting; weird. So, I gon have to re-order tha tracklisting in my
review, and turn to tha back cover for tha label… Okay, it’s Island Def Jam
Music Group. >>> So far, an okay/good start wit tha rock sound over
these dance beats, although a lil’ too quiet… Tha chorus ain’t that bad; sounds
like a decent song, overall… Finally, got some beats toward tha end… My Rating: 3.7
09.
Kat DeLuna “Stars (Riddler Radio Edit)”
Off
tha Cape
Republic label (sounds different
‘cause she’s usually with Universal
Republic, I think); I’m
definitely lookin’ forward!! Too bad MCD only played her last song, like, 5x;
rip-off!! >>> A lil’ bit of a slow start wit some nice lyrics/vocals…
Then, tha hot chorus came wit tha catchy vocals and hot Riddler beat!! Feelin’
tha endin’ wit those vocals, too!! My
Rating: 4.6
10.
Sharam + Anousheh “On & On (Radio Short)”
Yes,
a dirty song by an AL
artist(s), here! Finally, a new release from Yoshitoshi Recordings! Wasn’t tha
last song they signed “I Want You” by Dean Coleman? *Checks* Yup, I dunno why I
would’ve second-guessed myself. I reviewed a producer/rapper earlier today, and
I was like, “Today was exactly 3 years ago that we had our first phone call,”
and I didn’t second-guess myself! Now, to this song, it’s tha same vocalist as
“Say Hello” & tha Party 105 2007 import, “Be The Change”, so let’s hope
there’s some room for them in 2K13! >>> Nice lil’ vocals in tha
beginning; a lil’ bit of a slow start, and tha music sounds nice wit these
vocals. Not as earthshaking as all tha other songs, but this iz definitely some
quality! For it bein’ a short radio edit, I think it sounds a lil’ long, lol.
Like, I think there’s too much of tha vocals and shit, no offense. My Rating: 4.2
½time: Wow, talk about how GR8
of a CD this iz, so far!!! Not one
song iz wack, and my lowest-rated iz tha Cazzette song, lol! A 4.5 for
tha CD rating, so far; real nice!!!!!
11.
Monsta “Messiah (Dirty South Remix Radio)”
Looks
like some jackin’… I know an underground Louisiana
rapper by tha name Monsta and now, it looks like—I dunno, but Interscope
Records got this one. Been a minute since I heard Dirty South remix, so I’m
curious to know about this one… >>> Of course, they’re not tha same
people… This sounds almost like a rock vocalist, but I think it’s full-on
dance, here. No wonder why P105 just got this: Sounds like one of those songs
someone’ll hear, and it’ll be a future anthem for tha listeners. Now that tha
chorus iz kickin’ in, it sounds like a hot beat’s goin’ on… Feelin’ tha beats
after tha chorus; gotta give it its thumbs up! Lots of beats, here! That’s what
tha previous song needed! My Rating: 4.4
12.
Rod Stewart “Sexual Religion (Jump Smokers Radio Mix)”
Capitol
Music Group. Now, I think this iz where tha CD gon have its fall… This old-ass
singer wit JS on tha mix, as well as a content warning? What’s up wit all that
comin’ together? Lemme laugh, or pass out when I hear this… >>> Oh,
these 68-year-old vocals! Time ta join tha “Get Lucky” club; live with tha
disco! I’m bein’ sarcastic, but it’s not as
bad as I thought it was gonna be. I guess ‘cause JS’ on tha mix, it prolly
would’ve been disco-soundin’ if it was somebody else remixin’. C’mon, my
rappin’ granny can do betta…, and she’s 69! One year older! My Rating: 2.5
13.
Jimmy Carris Feat. Polina “Open Your Heart”
Finally,
dance artists…, one with a high AL,
no less (Polina)!! Signed by Ultra, let’s see how this gon sound! Lookin’
forward, especially after tha HUGE “Limit Is The Sky” from tha 11/10 PO that took over tha WORST year of 2011 for me!
>>> Sounds like a different person, at first, wit this slow beat start
(kinda like LITS). So far, it’s off to a decent start. It’s almost like a
quality Ultra song that’s okay; that’s what it sounds like to me. My Rating: 4.0
14.
Ciara “Body Party (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”
Epic
Records she’s on, now. It may turn out good, but I have a low AL ‘cause MCD’s beastin’ on her last song,
which adds to this bad year I’ve been havin’, so far! >>> Nice beat
start, though why tha Ghost Town DJs “My Boo” vocalizing? Thought this would’ve
been a dirty song, but it doesn’t seem like it… Sounds like a jam, but I’m
gonna have to feel Ciara a lil’ more to like it a lot… My Rating: 3.8
15.
Wolfgang Gartner Feat. Medina
“Overdose”
Ultra
Music! MTV Hits world premiered it back on April 15, 2013, and that was tha
only day it came on. Anyway, gotta luv how it sounds between tha beat, Medina, and tha lyrics!!
LOL @ PO’s not-labeled clean edit wit tha “shit” part. Sounds like you can hear
it a lil’ bit in tha background, which iz what I look for when I radio edit. We
all know that controversy, where tha station I was at didn’t censor tha
background “fuck” parts, but made me waste 8 hours every Saturday editing, smh!
My Current Rating: 4.4
16.
Selena Gomez “Come & Get It (Jump Smokers Radio Mix)”
I thought this was gonna be a Krewella remix when I saw it, but no, Selena had to get in here… Just like wit Demi, it’s Hollywood Records, and I dunno if JS & SG gon mix together… >>> Rap music in tha buildin’, lol? Sounds like that in tha beginning, but it sounds like JS’ tryna make a DS sound, lol? Well, DS ain’t at 126 BPM! But, it doesn’t sound too bad… I know it’s betta than tha Rod Stewart remix… My Rating: 3.9

Wallpaper. “Good 4 It (Firebeatz Radio Mix)”
Tryna
copy fun. with tha period at tha end of tha name? Looks like it to me! We got
anotha Epic Records sogn, here. I honestly don’t know what to expect…
>>> I knew it! Tha period gave it away: This sounds like a rock vocal,
though it sounds like there’s gonna be lots of beats… Well, more vocals came
toward tha 2nd verse (if you wanna even call it a verse). To me,
it’s tha male equivalent to Vassy’s song, from tha 3/13 PO.
I can’t even call this an IDS: I consider it a HM male that disguised itself as
a drag queen to ‘try’ to fit in with tha IDS world, lol. My Rating: 3.7
18.
Henrik B, Niklas Gustavsson & Peter Johansson “Echoes”
Look
at all those “sson”s, lol! I can tell
this looks like an IDS song, based off tha ID! And, that’s tha “Soul Heaven” DJ
Henrik B, here (12/07 PO)? Interestin’… Off
tha Levels label (neva heard—could Avicii be involved w/dat, lol?). As “Get
Lucky” plays in tha MCD background, hope I’m “lucky” with this song!!
>>> Actually, there’s some vocals, and it’s takin’ a sample from an
old song (not sure what tha song iz). But, of course, tha IDS style comes right
after that! To me, it sounds nice; I thought artists were too broke to pay for
a sample, now-a-dayz? Haven’t heard any remakes in a long time! My Rating: 4.1
19.
J. Cole Feat. Miguel “Power Trip (Riddler Remix Edit)”
Signed
with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Records label, as well as Columbia. I’ve heard of this song before.
Surprised to see a rapper on here. Though he’s in today’s generation (where
none of them really catch my attention), we’ll see if Riddler can save this
ignored song! >>> Not too much of a start for me… I didn’t get tha MTV
Hits interview, where J. Cole said this was a “different” song; to me, it’s
like every other song out there… Tha rappin’ sounds very random, and there’s
not much goin’ on wit tha beats, too… Miguel sounded like he came in very
random; what’s up wit all tha randomness? And, tha “we are” hook ain’t much,
either… Well, this remix didn’t do anything extra for me. For a real hot PO, this didn’t belong here. I might like tha Rod Stewart
one betta! My Rating: 2.2
20.
Jennifer Lopez Feat. Pitbull “Live It Up”
Now,
with Capitol Music Group? She keeps changin’ labels… LOL, their 3rd
collaboration! Wit no mix, I hope it’s on tha “On The Floor” level wit a nice
sample! >>> Ahh @ tha Pitbull start; hope it’s short! LOL @ all his
dedication to her, especially wit, “Who’s name’s on tha check wit an extra 0,”
or whateva he said… Anyway, sounds like a good song. Tha other two
collaborations were better, but I think this song might flop. It may get some attention durin’ tha summer, but I
think it’s gonna be forgotten about. What’s up wit tha quiet, “Make love, don’t
fight,” part? Why tha no beat? LOL, poppin’ a bottle at tha end… My Rating: 4.0
21.
Krewella “Alive (Hardwell Radio Edit)”
LOL
@ goin’ backwards… Iz Hardwell really worth it? In case you ain’t know, signed
with Krewella Music (Krewella’s label) & Columbia Records. >>> A
lil’ boring with tha original, but then, after a minute, tha Hardwell beats
kicked in… Sounds a lil’ like a darker version of DP “Envy”, between tha dry
feeling, but with actual hot sounds! Wonder if MCD’ll get this? They’re now
beastin’ on Feenixpawl’s remix of “Room For Happiness”, rolls eyes… Anyway, I
wish there were more Hardwell beats and less of tha original, here! My Rating: 4.4
Overall: I really enjoyed this CD!
Kinda got shaky durin’ tha 2nd ½, at times, but overall, very good
CD! Too bad some of tha songs fucked up my average CD rating ‘cause really,
there were a lot of bangerz on here!!
