I
have an interesting future ahead of me, as I prepare for some changes.
Unfortunately, my full-time job’s position’s ending, so I have to get anotha
one to keep tha spins, vibes & cash goin’. In tha meantime, I will peep out
Promo
Only: Dance Radio September 2020 & see how we do wit this one! Will
it be as exciting as my casino freeplay win, earlier today? We’ll see!! Start Time: 10:05 PM | End Time: 11:58 PM
Disclaimer: I type how I wanna type
(frequent use of “tha” instead of “the,” “iz” instead of “is,” “a”-ending words
instead of “er,” and a few others). I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each
rating iz my own opinion! I only
please myself wit my ratings! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it,
I like it how I wanna like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics.
To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at
least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I
pretty much really love it, as it’s
considered mindblowin’ when I hear
it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “
>>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I
type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. Sometimes,
I may not rate a song too high on its first listen, but in tha future, I could
be playin’ it more than a higher-rated song…

BONNIE X CLYDE “Love Is Killing Me”
Label:
Ultra
Lol,
just like my luck from earlier, I made a correct guess at tha 1st
track on here, just based off its BPM! As far as tha track goes, I think it
str8. Looks like tha public may like it better, already, based off of how it’s
always on. I give it props, as they keep tha dance vibes goin’…! Nothin’ to
really say else about this; just your good dose of dance, I guess? My Current Rating: 3.9
02.
DJ D-Sol feat. Gia Koka “Someone Like You”
Label:
Payback/Big Beat
Glad
to see anotha Gia-featured track, as always; luv how it’s always different DJs!
Actually am lookin’ forward ta hearin’ this one, of course…! >>>
Definitely diggin’ it, here; definitely am…! Great start, between tha beats
& Gia, doin’ tha damn thang! Strong chorus, too! Whoo; definitely sounds like today’s “winnings!!” Definitely feelin’ tha
HUGE drop, too!! I also feel like this vibe of tha excellent melody, vocals,
beats & vibe, itself, paves tha way to my $ucce$$ful future, comin’ up!! My Rating: 4.9
03.
Bob Marley x Robin Schulz “Sun Is Shining (Robin Schulz Remix)”
Label: Island
Label: Island
While
gone off dat Bob Marley, right nah,
I’m ready ta encounter this…! I know there’s a set of remakes, at times, so
here’s one of ‘em. Not just remakes
but remade a few times; not sure if
it can be done, again? I purposely chose to make tha environment as euphoric as
possible, just to see if I can increase my selective mood of how shit be remade today…! >>> I dunno; no
matter how strong tha Marley may be,
I don’t think this that great of a remake. I feel like Marley had it better
when it was two decades ago. Also, let Yanou come in 2nd place fa
‘07 but this a far 3rd… Sometimes, like, I feel like tha “make you
want to” vs. tha “make you wanna”
original part, from tha remade part (in tha past) earn a point fa str8-up
cheese? Not really great wit how it blends wit R-Schulz, this time around… I
literally think this woulda been better sung by an unknown chick or somethin’,
fa our 2020ness… My Rating: 1.3

DJ Sammy & Chloe Marin “This Is Who We Are”
Label: Robbins
Label: Robbins
Lol,
my rating went from almost tha top to almost tha bottom, in between tha
previous two tracks! Funny that I mentioned Yanou & tha “Sun Is Shining”,
earlier ‘cause now, here’s another part of “Heaven”, lol…! Figuring that it’s
Sammy, I like to be concrete & thorough on tha quality he may bring to tha
table, due to his anticipation level. If Sammy picked tha right quality, I will
be locked-in, like D-Sol & Gia. If not, I will be like Bob & Robin,
lol…! Also, in this spot almost seven years ago? *Checks flashbackness…* LMAO!
Not only was I right but tha copy of tha review in my backfiles iz all
forum-coded! Of course, my brain guessed right: When I said, “Almost seven
years ago?,” I was talkin’ ‘bout “Shut Up And Kiss Me”, October 2013 edition! With that bein’ said, I hope/know this’ll skyrocket past that one!! >>>
Already off to a great start; definitely feelin’ tha vocals, chorus & oh
boy, that climax to tha drop!! Dope-soundin’ drop; I feel like I dig tha chorus
a lil’ more but definitely fresh! Like, I’m spending 15 dayz in Louisiana, workin’ on
collaborations! I feel like this edition’s pavin’ tha way for 50% of that trip!
Tha vibe iz definitely here!! Glad
Sammy comin’ through wit a new vocalist & dope sound!! Oh yeah, tha
winnings, between just tha freeplay durin’ tha month, was $2,851.00!! Ballin’!!
I definitely feel like this a great
lil’ track to define those winnings! Hell, I just admitted it, so I must feel
some type of way…! Glad I said, “Skyrocket,” in tha beginning, too; such a powerful term!! My Rating: 5.0

Ella Henderson “Take Care Of You (Nathan Dawe Remix)”
Label:
Atlantic
Tha heat continues with this hot remix, courtesy of Music Choice Dance! Definitely feelin’ her continuous evolution into tha dance world! This a great lil’ solo track; luv her & Nathan’s vibe, together! Also, luck of tha draw? While on shuffle, upcoming Baton Rouge, LA rapper, 70th Street Carlos, followed me on Instagram! I think that’ll boost this song’s quality with me! Glad Ella will “take care of” tha dance world, with these great tracks/collabz! My Current Rating: 4.9

MK feat. Carla Monroe “2AM”
Label:
Ultra
A
lil’ bigger than almost three years ago, lol? *Checks, includin’ a #06…* I guess you
can say so about “17” bein’ two characters long, vs. this with three
characters. Also, “almost three years
ago” refers to October 2017’s #05
appearance, while Carla was still ghost-featured! Now, all revealed & ready
to continue makin’ noise…! >>> Sounds like a good lil’ dance song,
here. I mean, not as catchy as “17” but who don’t luv bein’ up late? Definitely
what’s up with tha “2AM” chorus/beats/vocals/lyrics, lol! Gotta do it up!! Also, vocal chops iz always a plus!
Not much else ta say; great job to these two, once again…! My Rating: 4.2
07.
Andrelli “Hey There Delilah (Madism Remix – Radio Edit)”
Label:
Island
Here
comes anotha remake/cover but a more luckier one than Mr. Bob? After tryna hear
it through googlin’ it from BPM’s recent add, I couldn’t get it. However, I got
a link to their Last Played, which iz always
a great thing in life! It’s great when you have a Last Played available,
especially to those who don’t have access/may not have certain outlets, 24/7…!
>>> Still seems weird to hear these remakes/covers of songs that were
created while I was still doin’ my own playlists. Hell, I was just takin’
pictures of my AUX cord from January 2004 & my boombox from Spring 2003!
I’m using both right now, as we speak! Legendary! But yeah, interestin’ with
these new female vocals, tho a lil’ cheesy with this one-hit-wonder of tha dayz
of ‘06ish be brought into ’20… I do like tha drop, tho, so at least there’s some value, here… Other than that, not
much feedback from me… My Rating: 3.2
08.
Tobtok x Mahalo feat. Timpo “This Town”
Label: Big Beat/EMG
Really diggin’ this collab; can’t wait ta hear, tho not sure what ta expect…! >>> Yeah, wasn’t sure what to expect… If I had to describe it, I would say, a house feel on tha 1st verse & a Goodboys “da-da-da…” vibe, on some of tha chorus. Definitely an interestin’ mix, male-vocal style & how this collab came out. Definitely feelin’ its energy & taste of catchiness; whoot, whoot…! My Rating: 4.3

Shanguy “Back To Life”
Label:
Robbins
Just
as things could’ve maxed out with excitement with tha Robbins presentation
earlier, here comes anotha one!! Really glad their previous single got out
& about, via MCD, BPM; definitely deserved! Hope they appreciate this one
& I’m sayin’ that b4 even hearin’ it! They deserve to keep bringin’ tha
heat to us…!! >>> Yeah, based off tha 1st few seconds, I
can tell I’m gonna really like this! Now, how will it rank amongst all tha
other BIG ratings??! Definitely a dope/cool melody & vibe comin’ from tha
hotness of Shanguy, here!! Glad to see them fully-focused
in that quality dance music, imported to us from anotha world/world fulla
quality!! Great job on tha follow-up, Robbins & Shan-to-tha-guy, lol…! My Rating: 4.8
10.
Love Regenerator, Calvin Harris & Steve Lacy “Live Without Your Love”
Label:
Columbia
Anotha
good vibe, here; shout out to tha Love Regenerator fa keepin’ up these
continuous, hot, undaground-soundin’ vibes…! Interestin’ male vocals on this
track, too, as we’re just lost in tha continuous beats & Steve, here! “On
such a hot day-aye…!” My Current Rating: 4.4
½time: Seemed like a
rollercoaster fulla emotions goin’ on, throughout this 1st ½…! There
were times where everything seemed too good ta be true with tha quality &
then, a lil’ bit of a downfall, randomly; crazy. Overall, looks like we’re
floatin’ widda 4.1
for tha ½time rating, here!
11.
Robin Schulz & Wes “Alane (Yves V Remix)”
Label: Big Beat/EMG
Label: Big Beat/EMG
This
one makes a return; oh boy… I think Yves’ll do tha job, tho… >>> Still
sounds dope; tha drop’s pretty strong! Definitely a plus; takes away tha fact
that it made another appearance on here! It’s definitely dope…! My Rating: 4.6
12.
DVRKO “Lights Up (Black Caviar Remix)”
Label: L1N3
Label: L1N3
Not
100% sure what to expect but that label bein’ styled like that reminds me of
Canadian zip codes! Neva experienced Canadian
zip codes till entering tha info in my full-timer’s system…! >>> More
house-y than tha Tobtok/Mahalo collab, for tha start… Or, was that a long
intro? However I take it, tha chorus sounds cool, after tha intro-like
beginning… Drop a lil’ dry, knowin’ it’s how I feel about tha Caviar,
sometimes… Vocals durin’ tha verse part kinda how I feel about a random
male-vocal track: ehh/decent. Sounds like a good lil’ track, regardless; I’ll
give it its props… My Rating: 3.6
13.
Tritonal feat. Brooke Williams “Someone To Love You (Morgan Page Radio Edit)”
Label:
Enhanced
This
should be somethin’ hot; a remix to help out? Should be a nice collab…!
>>> Sounds like a good beginning; nice goin’, between Brooke &
everyone behind her…! Great vocals & great lil’ track, through &
through. Best part sounds like tha drop; definitely nice! Glad Brooke feels tha
“love,” here & iz givin’ it to tha world…! Great job, everyone…! Nice lil’
ending, too, ta end thangz off…! My
Rating: 4.4
14.
Steve Aoki & Felix Jaehn feat. Jamie Scott “Inside Out”
Label:
Ultra
Was
wondering when this was gonna make an appearance on here, courtesy of its
near-collision with “I Love My Friends” on MCD. I think this a good one; just
neva got in tha mood to really show it luv. Good lil’ male vocals & dance
beats; glad to see Aoki with better quality, these dayz. Not much ta say, here;
just a good lil’ track, as he keeps ‘em comin’… My Current Rating: 4.0
15.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs. Regard “Say My Name”
Label:
Arista
I’m
feelin’ a special vibe, here? Maybe…? I see DV&LM & then, I see tha
Regard-like BPM, knowin’ it’ll graviate toward more tha Regard side? Let’s see…
>>> I didn’t put two and two together, with this title; wouldn’ta
guessed a Destiny’s Child cover/remake. Ehh…; got this dose two years ago, back
on March 2018’s edition. Kinda
likin’ this a lil’ but I find it funny when tha Regard signature sound plays,
durin’ tha drop. I think that’s silly but nice, at tha same time. May just save
this for bonus spins, rather than a playlist add? We’ll see how things turn
out… This’ll prolly be tha best remake/cover outta tha ones on here, oddly. My Rating: 3.5
16.
Yves V feat. Alida “Home Now”
Label:
Spinnin’
This
looks like it’ll be a dope collab…! Now, let’s see… >>> Sounds like a
good lil’ start with this mid-dance vibe of Yves, here…! He boosted tha Robin
Schulz & Wes collab. Now, he puttin’ out some dope quality, here;
definitely a nice collab! Really feelin’ tha chorus & tha vocalizin’!
Definitely anotha nice dance sensation of tha 2020’s: Alida! Keep up tha great
work, as it’s definitely “In Your
Eyes”! Nice lil’ bridge, too; glad to not
be “home,” at times. Not that it’s a full-on quarantine thing but I’ve been
real busy gettin’ some of my throwback stuff done with. This way, I can see tha
big transition, later this decade! My
Rating: 4.7
17.
Kygo x Tina Turner “What’s Love Got To Do With It”
Label:
RCA
Let’s
compare & contrast: Last year, I instantly rated Kygo & Whitney’s
collab a 1.0, due to me not feelin’ like a cover like that should’ve been
resurrected. Now, we’re here… >>> I like tha chill/original ‘80s vibe;
I just feel like this some random moment of Kygo to just be like, “I’mma make a
bonus song!” This & “Higher Love” are examples of that. This one ain’t
too-too bad ta feel, as I must like tha Tina Turner vibe more than tha “Higher
Love” vibe. Ick, tho: shitty last minute, as tha vocals & beats seem to
wanna get stronger… Then again, this just my take on covers/remakes bein’ taken
to tha current world we live in… My
Rating: 2.4
18.
Sam Feldt & VIZE feat. Leony “Far Away From Home”
Label:
Spinnin’
Anotha
one I’m not 100% sure on how I’m gonna take it… >>> Glad it’s a female
but I feel like this has tha Kygo feel to it, once tha beats kick in… Sounds
like a good lil’ quarantine track, I guess? No drop? Just went to a
dry-soundin’ 2nd verse? I dunno; I grew to like “Hold Me Close” a
lot more, now. This, however, just makes me want “Hold Me Close” to not let go, lol. Decent track; just dry as
fuck during tha verses, with tha Zedd-soundin’ dead style… My Rating: 2.7
19.
Zedd & Jasmine Thompson “Funny”
Label:
Atlantic
A
new one from MCD that I heard… Tried to give it all my attention but it falls
just a lil’ above how I felt about “Stay”; I think it’s dry. It’s ironic I
talked about Zedd, earlier & now, he’s here… >>> Thanx to Jasmine
on tha feature, this gives me more of a dance-music anticipation vibe than a
pop-vocal anticipation level. Cool wit how Jasmine sounds, of course; just not
diggin’ tha electronic-soundin’ Zedd drops, these dayz. Either way, I think
this a nice lil’ collab for our current time… I may like & appreciate it a
lil’ more, now; hope it gets some pop appeal, too… Likin’ tha ending, as well:
“Who’s laughin’ now? Who’s laughin’ now?” My
Rating: 3.8
20.
Krewella & Yellow Claw “Rewind”
Label: Mixed Kids
Label: Mixed Kids
I’m
tryin’ not to have that high look on my face, as if I’m back on tha last
edition. Like, my stoned mind’s like, “Wasn’t this tha last song on tha
previous edition?” Also, how much more clean
can it get, from just tha last clean version? Only part I know of an explicit
iz tha Yellow Claw final drop but other than that, where else? More-edited on
that spot? Slight differences: BPM went down by one & tha “x” in tha ID
turned into an “&”! With that bein’ said… *Listens…* Lol, I have to say,
talk about an unexpected bonus? When I reviewed it last month, I thought it was
a dope lil’ concept/tha “same scenes on rewind”
but thought tha drop was icky (except tha dope last one). It only got a decent
rating from me but due to feelin’ more $ucce$$ful, as tha summer progresses,
I’ve been appreciatin’ this one more. Shout out ta these two group
collaboratin’, once again; neva had this PO
feat! Tha last song, two editions in a row, lol? Also, hadn’t seen a repeat
like this since, like, tha January 2013
edition with tha Skrillex remix/newer remix of “Cinema”! Either way, yeah,
complete bonus, here!! I feel so
responsible for my good vibes, tha “scenes” I wanna put “on rewind” & now, that final drop goes
real hard!! Also, same exact edit as
tha previous edition’s too. I literally fell for tha “Supah” in tha clean type,
lol! I was originally like, “Nah, this can’t be tha same exact one from tha
last time, right, lol?” Interesting, in tha end…! My Current Rating: 4.7 (+1.1 from
last month!!)
Overall: Wow, what an interesting
review, here!! Lol, real talk, it had so many different moments & tha
exciting ones seemed outta this world! Frfr! Glad a $ucce$$ful mind & vibe
that I have pay$ off, mu$ically! Most definitely!! Yeah, a lil’ risky wit tha
remakes/covers but tha real-hot tracks paid off! Also, tha “Rewind” bonus made
tha overall rating jump into tha 4.0 range!!
