THROWBACK THURSDAY:
^ Lmao! Oh, even tho tha world has crossed over so much since, I have to admit that I’m glad there’s not all those pop remixes up tha ante! With that bein’ said, I thought it was too good ta be true for this collab to be 1st! Have to luv how Joel & Jax decided to sample tha “Alors On Danse” on this! I remembered “Alors On Danse” when Charli said, “Dance!” Just luv how they all handle this track with a mega collab! Just luv how Charli luvs tha weekend & for those that wanna catch tha “Uber!” Gotta luv how Charli handles tha track with excitement, includin’ how there’s a bunch of excitement goin’ on in tha music! Awesomeness! Not even a “whatcha-whatcha gon do?” from Jax—think: That’s like tha title, too, with tha same word back-to-back! Even down ta Ms. Played-Out “Tapped In” comin’ on tha track, makin’ tha rappin’ combo of all tha other hotness definitely worth it, like tha good-ole dayz! Also, as all those “aye, aye-aye” parts slam hard, shout out to tha imported vibes of tha world! Plus, this could be a 1st or a long-tyme feat that a ***PERFECT-RATED*** track iz 1st on a PO? My Current Rating: 🔥🔥🔥 5.0 🔥🔥🔥

Anotha track from tha intro of my review, lol! Always awesome to get ta hear Justine! Can’t wait ta get tha full-on listen, right now!! >>> Feelin’ that intro; great vocals, too! Not too sure about how tha chorus sounds… It might have to grow on me? I like when tha, what YouTube calls it, tha “Bronski Beat/Supermode “Tell Me Why” music part” plays; definitely nice when it does play! Definitely feelin’ tha music part after tha 2nd verse; sounds like a dope bridge! I sense a lotta awesomeness with this track; hope it has an awesome reputation in tha world…! My Rating: 4.8

Lol, anotha Throwback Thursday moment with this track, from my final months of high school. Got to decide to listen to it on Diplo’s Revolution & it’s a decent lil’ remake. I kinda like how it’s just only tha four lines of tha original’s chorus. Sounds almost dry when tha Cherish sample goes full-on acapella. However, I’m feelin’ this house music goin’ on in tha music; gives off a good, dark, mysterious vibe… My Current Rating: 4.2
Label: Casablanca/Republic
Likin’ tha reverse of “One More Time” on tha DJs, here; glad that was a successful tune, this year! Now, to follow it up with Ms. G-Ku on tha vocals? Can’t wait ta hear…!! >>> Sounds like a decent start…; kinda sounds like a cool song but for some reason, I feel like this would fit more as a pop-crossover track. Somethin’ in its wayz doesn’t make me too pumped for it, in a full-on dance way. Either way, good energy for an upbeat track, basically. My Rating: 3.7
Label: Atlantic
Got a quick 1st listen, courtesy of Mom havin’ Music Choice Dance on, last night. Can I say, a stronger version of “The Business” in tha beat, in a female’s perspective? *Relistens…* >>> Sounds like a great intro in tha music & I’m diggin’ how Mr. Ësto comes through with tha music. Also, diggin’ that pre-chorus! Awesome vibes from this collab & then, tha chorus comes with tha slap-houseness… Luckily, at least there’s a good dose of music parts, pre-choruses & vocals fa this track, here. How will it continue ta do in tha world? Hope it’ll continue marchin’ on…! My Rating: 4.5
Label: Monstercat
Luvin’ tha completely-unknown track, here, between tha artist & tha song! Hope it’s an awesome track! >>> Sounds like a decent start for a new female-vocal track… Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s pretty nice! “Take me where those monsters hide”; interesting…! Also, interestin’ with this build-up in tha music & vibe; nice! Tha drop’s a lil’ faster of tha slap-houseness, since it’s 126 BPM & not 124, or 120’s slower version like Tiësto’s track. Overall, it sounds like a good lil’ new track…! Will it gain enough acceptance in tha dance world, airplay-wise? We’ll see how it does… As far as tha rest of this track, it’s cool; gotta luv newbies with good quality! Also, cool ending with tha title part! My Rating: 4.2
Label: Good Company
This track that’s a #NextEssential artist/track on Diplo’s Revolution… I think it has an okay house vibe? Have briefly heard it on each listen, other than, say, sleepin’ with music on. *Re-hears…* Tha instant, strong female vocal kinda throws me off, at tymes. Either way, when tha music kicks in, it’s cool, especially when there’s more of it than vocals… Hearin’ tha title part…; it’s a good message! That’s what I do! “Live your life, be free.” 💯💪💯 My Current Rating: 3.6
Label: Spinnin’
Tha title’s throwin’ me for a loop when it’s a RM song… I have a strange feelin’ it gon be a combination of energy & a weird remake? >>> I only got tha energy part right, lol! No Blondie or female vocals, here! A mysterious male vocalist on tha vocals, comin’ through in a calm way… Vocals are a lil’ interestin’, tho tha energy completely outshines it, especially in tha drop!! True Robbie style! Wish his previous, non-PO single, “Out Of My Head”, woulda got out there like “Imagine” or even an appearance like this track… Either way, this iz anotha good addition to his resumé! My Rating: 4.4
Label: Black Hole
Looks like an exciting collab but a confusing BPM fa C-Gate? 123? That’s it? Betta be supa excitin’ to say less! >>> Sounds like a decent vocal start & music start… Tha next feedback I have iz already tha chorus & it sounds like some good music. Good-soundin’ music in tha drop, tho not supa excitin’. Either way, definitely a nice effort, here, for a slow C-Gate track! Approachin’ tha 2nd ½ of tha song (next chorus) & tha music slows down to a piano… After dozin’ off to “OUT-OUT” on MCD in tha background & some euphoric thoughts, tha good music in tha drop came back like it was nothin’! Don’t think this one’ll get out in tha regular, mainstream dance world. However, I betcha Armin Van Buuren gon support it on his A State Of Armin channel…! My Rating: 4.3
Label: Casablanca/Republic
Seen tha “Glock” in tha ID & was like, “Wow, this a strange-but-maybe-awesome name?” Also, tha featured artist rhymes? Like, lol? Can’t imagine what my review gon turn out ta be… *Envisions roulette…* >>> Scared me a lil’ with that instant start & that male voice, at first… Just seein’ tha rhymin’ names makes me also think of Ofenbach, when hearin’ this. Either way, as this progresses toward tha near-end of tha 1st minute, I like how tha music & excitement builds with how tha male sings this chorus. I think of Ofenbach & how I grew with their “Wasted Love” bein’ played around tha globe a lot. I think tha names of these two, as well as their contributions together, made this come to be a good sound…! My Rating: 4.1
Label: Musical Freedom
#11’s usually a good highlight, most of tha tyme… I think it gon happen with these two collabbin’!! >>> Sounds like anotha cool collab from “When The Summer Dies”, recently; great music from Mr. Page, too! Likin’ that chorus & drop; definitely dope with how y’all both sound! Tha 2nd verse sounds like Lights goin’ ape shit with a rappin’-like flow? Sounded awesome with tha pace of it! Tha rest of this track pretty dope; can’t believe it’s been 13 years since I first heard both Morgan & Lights, both back in ’08! My Rating: 4.4
Label: NHMM
I know of Alix from a previously-played/featured MCD song from this year (“Want You”) & this looks like it gon be an awesome NHMM track! >>> Sounds like it’s gonna be one of those slap tracks? Alix almost sounds a lil’ guyish with tha vocals this tyme round? Tha chorus ain’t bad; sounds like it’s good, regardless. I just don’t like/love it like most/all of tha 4.0’s. Tha rest of this track okay/goes along… My Rating: 3.9
Label: Coldharbour
Markus on tha slower side of dance, this tyme… Either way, I hope he works his unique magic, especially with this Lovlee on tha collab…! >>> Not too sure of how to take tha music with tha start… Hearin’ tha vocals & they sound good—they sound A State Of Armin-like… Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s pretty dope with “chasing all these temporary highs.” Like, literally, you know what it iz! Dope content, pun-intended, lol! Music just sounds decent, tho… Like, if it’s gonna have a slow BPM, at least have multiple amounts of cool sounds/instruments, ya dig me? Tha rest of this goes with tha flow & iz acceptable. At least tha 2nd drop/last minute has better, stronger music/sounds & more goin’ on; good shit…! My Rating: 4.2
Label: Big Beat/EMG
Str8 outta Sirius XM Chill… Compared to some of his other tracks, this one sounds like it stands out. Didn’t think of makin’ it somethin’ to add till it appeared on here. Now, it’ll make its way through tha “Inner Light”! Like how tha music gets excitin’ b4 tha chorus kicks in & tha chorus has a good combination of music & vocals to it… Even with its length of 4:17, this track doesn’t drag; it’s, just, chill, like Chill, pun-intended, lmao!! Even tha last 10 seconds sounded like a club mix-type outro; interestin’… My Current Rating: 4.3
Label: Spinnin’
Glad to see tha return of MM! How will he deliver with a male on tha vocals, here…? >>> Vocals are a lil’ strange to my ears, as they seem a lil’ innocent or somethin’? They blend in cool with tha MM music, tho. Hearin’ tha drop & it sounds cool, tha only way MM knows best! Decent drop, to say tha least, but cool lil’ house track, here. My Rating: 4.0
Label: Monstercat
*Sees title & sings “BED” but adds “empty” b4 RAYE would say, “BED,” lol!* Just like tha previous Monstercat appearance, it’s anotha round of complete “ ❓ ❓ ❓ ”ness! >>> Nothin’ of what I expected so far, lol. I literally thought it was gonna be lil’ kids singin’ a pop/dance track, rather than a deep, male-vocal track… Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it’s a lil’ mysterious… Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s a lil’ cheesy, especially when that “bed” part slams on tha vocals, when tha drop hits… Tha 2nd verse’s soundin’ awkward with tha vocals… This one doesn’t seem that bad but it’s literally gonna feel like tha least-rated track outta tha 16, currently, but not a shit-show rating… Tha rest of this just sounds like it doesn’t wanna give up tryin’ to impress me… My Rating: 3.4
Label: Carrillo
Luvin’ tha mysterious, new-soundin’ vibes of this edition! How will this new Carrillo-signed track sound…? >>> Sounds like a silly-but-maybe-cool house track? Cool about tha “hips” but tha music in tha drop really dry… I’ono about all tha repetitiveness with tha one line, most of tha tyme… Kinda likin’ tha added line b4 tha 2nd drop; not as bad as it turned out ta be… Either way, tha music may be a lil’ dry but tha vibe seems good… My Rating: 3.0
Label: Atlantic
Didn’t get tha best vibes from tha Kareem-featured “Looking For Me” last year. However, on this collab, I’ono what gon come outta it & how I gon feel… >>> For tha 130 BPM, I was hoping it wasn’t so acoustic/dry-soundin’ for tha music start… I gon see how this’ll progress; hope there’s enough strong parts in tha music… Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s okay; it’s a lil’ catchy. Now, I’m hearin’ tha drop & it’s an okay drop… Tha drop’s not deliverin’ enough energy than I thought? At least tha faster music continued throughout tha 2nd verse… Hearin’ tha bridge part & it’s an okay lil’ transition of tha track. However, I like when it sounds like a female’s singin’ in tha background; interestin’… My Rating: 4.0
Label: Elohim
A self-released track & a Diplo’s Revolution newbie… Almost got a lil’ sense of it this morning, right b4 this review. However, I couldn’t stick its vibe in my head? >>> She sounds like a good lil’ singer… For a slow, 113-paced track, it’s okay; nothin’ wrong, here. I just feel like this singer & track got pulled outta a raffle or somethin’? Lucky her & to all those self-released artists & releases! Hearin’ tha lil’ bridge part & it’s str8; almost thought it slowed even more down when tha bridge ended… My Rating: 3.5
Label: Kygo/RCA
Looks like tha dance & pop world’s next mainstream dance hit? Lemme see if it iz… >>> Sounds like an okay start but after, like, four lines, Zoe’s voice sounds like she’s really drowned into tha music, as if she was inside its blending? A lil’ strange, includin’ on tha chorus but then, tha climax & drop uplift tha track a lil’. Needless to say, this track’s music’s just like most Kygo songs… Tha rest of this seems a lil’ bland & boring; tha pop world can have it but overtake it from tha dance world…! My Rating: 2.7
Label: 10:22 pm/Astralwerks/Capitol
Endin’ it with an interestin’ collab fa both tha dance & pop world, as well? Let’s see this one; this one gots ta be betta than tha Kygo/Zoe collab… >>> A slow, pop/acoustic-type of beat start, here & these male vocals aren’t really impressin’ me… Hearin’ tha chorus & it sounds like a good lil’ pop song with an EDM influence, rather than a good lil’ EDM song with a pop influence. Also, it sounds like a good lil’ ending song fa this edition. I can definitely admit that I’m “Chasing Stars”, thanx to my continuous motivation, determination & all positive characteristics! With that bein’ said, this just an average-soundin’ song fa me. I’ont think it’ll do any special #’s with me, due to its pop/slow-dance sound… My Rating: 3.2
