Disclaimer: I type how I wanna type (frequent use of “tha” instead of “the,” “iz” instead of “is,” “a”-ending words instead of “er,” and a few others). I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it, I like it how I wanna like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. Sometymes, I may not rate a song too high on its first listen, but in tha future, I could be playin’ it more than a higher-rated song…

01. Oliver Heldens x Karen Harding “Oops”

Kickin’ off this edition with this track that I got a lil’ snippet of… Sounded like Karen was goin’ tha Britney Spears route with tha “Oops”, if I can recall? >>> Sounds like an okay track; likin’ how Karen comin’ through on tha vocals & lyrics, here. Yeah, tha chorus starts off with “Oops, I did it again,” even tho it ain’t a sample. Britney was just tha 1^st person I thought of, when I heard that part. As far as tha overall atmosphere of tha track, it’s just like a regular dance track, imo. Really feelin’ her Armand Van Helden collab from two editions ago, atm, so I may be more generous to this one… My Rating: 3.8
 
 
02. Lucas & Steve x Yves V feat. Xoro “After Midnight”

Looks like an interestin’ collab; can’t wait ta peep this one out…! >>> Sounds less-anticipatin’ than I woulda thought… More on tha slap-housey side & deep-soundin’ male vocals, too… Also, tha chorus has Robert Miles “Children” in tha background, all slowed down. Like, naw, no need to find tha $$$, even tho I like that chorus. “You only call me when you’re high.” Tha now-34-year-old me “when [I’m] high” makes me wanna dodge every initiative of makin’ a “call,” due to no1’s on my level, these dayz! Like that tha track ended with a dubbed dial tone… Like I previously said, it’s a lil’ on tha sellout-y vibe for me but I’m likin’ it a lil’, due to that chorus. My Rating: 3.6
 
 
03. Shane Codd & LA Vision feat. BIM “Same Mistake”

Didn’t get to hear this one, yet… How will Mr. Codd come thru fa 2023? >>> Sounds like one of those house tracks that would have to grow on me, slowly but surely. Then again, that chorus of not repeatin’ “tha same mistake” sounds great, includin’ doin’ you! Likin’ that lil’ music part after tha chorus; definitely nice, even tho it seemed short… A lotta repetitive vocals, so I’ono how much I’ll appreciate this track… At least that nice lil’ music part ended tha track off. My Rating: 3.7
 
 
04. Alok & James Arthur “Work With My Love”

Even tho I cringe with tha JA collabz, I have to admit, I like how Alok flipped Shape: UK’s “Lola’s Theme” into this track. Definitely nice with how Alok controls tha music, while JA delivers some catchy vocals. “Lola’s Theme”, a track that hit #1 on my playlist back in 2004, my 1^st official year for doin’ my own playlists! Now, we here. We’ll see how this one gets out there but I definitely am proud of tha “Lola’s Theme” reinvention…! My Current Rating: 4.3
 
 
05. RSCL, it’s murph & Twin Diplomacy feat. Jack August “Lost”

This track was a BPM Breaker on SiriusXM BPM, recently. Now, it’s on this edition, even tho I don’t remember if I was that crazy about it. Despite its SXM BPM spins, I don’t have a familiar idea of its sound… >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ beginning with that female/background vocal… Hearin’ tha male vocal on tha chorus & it ain’t bad… Hearin’ that lil’ drop & it’s pretty cool, mainly ‘cause of that background vocal bein’ all over tha place… I definitely have to pay more attention to this one; shout out to its unique vibes of tha house…! My Rating: 4.2
 
 
06. Cornelius SA feat. FELIX “Center Of The Soul”

Not too sure of these two artists; we’ll see what this new mau5trap release brings…! Shortened Radio Edit of… >>> Tha beginning (tha chorus) sounds like anotha decent lil’ male-vocal song… Hearin’ tha lil’ music drop & it’s nice for tha chill side, I’d say. Luvin’ that there’s a ton of chill music on this one; it’s continuous! Definitely more on tha vibe of what I’ve been listenin’ to on tha low, just to focus, chill & all that. Hearin’ tha lil’ verse part & I’ono if I’m really that big about these male vocals. If it was just an instrumental, it prolly would’ve sounded betta to me. Needless ta say, good chill beats. My Rating: 3.3

Lookin’ forward to Kapera, even tho we have anotha male-vocal track? Seems like there’s nothin’ but ‘em on this edition, currently… >>> Sounds like some interestin’ lyrics about goin’ “Into The Night”, like tha title says… I prolly gon have to get used to tha male vocals but I’m definitely feelin’ tha slower, anthemic beats of Kapera, here! Cool, upliftin’ music with some decent male vocals… My Rating: 3.7

Hope it’s a good collab… >>> Hope it’s good for this female kickin’ off this track…! Sounds like a selective-type of pre-chorus with tha “ring-ring” shit, bein’ “too busy” & all that. Oh, that’s music-business venom!! As far as tha chorus, it’s cool but no drop? Ehh, sappy transition, since it’s on tha deep-house vibe with this music/tempo… I do like that tha chick on this track, Mougleta, gives me an Anne-Marie vibe, on tha chorus. My Rating: 3.8
 
 
½tyme: Most of tha tracks seem like they’re mainly decent tracks, so far. Looks like it’s gonna be a lil’ bit of a dry March? I say more of a repetitively-workin’, rinse-&-repeat March, due to tryna save up for tha long-run future! With that bein’ said, a 3.7 iz tha current rating; let’s hope we’re on to a bunch of females on tha vocals, comin’ up…!

On to a much-betta track, as I heard tha original a lil’ while back from tha POOL Player. Now, it seems to be divin’ its toes in some spreading water, since Steve Aoki’s Remix Radio channel got a Club Mix Radio Edit of this track, recently. Also, it’s here, with a remix…! >>> A lil’ different from tha slower original version, as now, Dana’s voice iz lower on tha pitch. However, I’m likin’ that tha music builds up, throughout tha track. Chorus iz still cool but I’ono, maybe, I’ll have to adjust to these pitched-down vocals? More on tha house side but it still has cool/good vibes to offer. My Rating: 3.9

Looks like a big collab but iz it too big? >>> Sounds okay, just like a regular Brando collab. As far as tha chorus, it sounds okay; I’m likin’ tha whistlin’. Hearin’ tha title part & it’s ehh, nothin’ I’d jump outta my seat for. Just seems like an okay month we’re about to stumble upon… My Rating: 3.5
 
 
12. Morgan Page x Skylar Grey “Partly Cloudy”

Dance Radio January 2012 be like: “‘Room For Happiness’ will keep Skylar Grey goin’ on these editions.” However, Dance Radio March 2023 be like: “Skylar Grey, you’ve returned over 11 years later!” Doesn’t seem real but here we are, with Morgan Page transformin’ Skylar into his own collab. Seems okay/catchy with her vocals but I’m likin’ how M-Page has been goin’ after those 128 BPM beats, lately. My Current Rating: 4.0

Not too sure about this collab… Will tha music be catchy enough for me? >>> I should say, beats? Likin’ this breakbeat-type of remix vibe, here. Vocals are just okay for me; anotha tyme where tha male-vocal track sounds just decent. Beats make this sound cool for a remix but there’s nothin’ to go crazy about, with this remix. Luvin’ this new fast track comin’ outta nowhere! It was only in due tyme that Robbins would get back to signin’ those 138 BPM-paced tracks! Now, here we are, in 2023! Once again, which this edition’s known for, we have anotha male on tha vocals. Only difference with this one iz its tempo; definitely a major plus for these fast beats! Luvin’ tha “damn right, damn right…” dubbed parts & tha “drinking,” randomly. Also, gotta luv how all these beats come & go so fast! While I’m adjustin’ to tha vocals more & more these dayz, I’m still luvin’ tha fast beats! Hope it gets some good exposure out in tha world, even tho I still think tha world’s still brainwashed for what’s ‘cool,’ smh. My Current Rating: 4.5

Can’t believe it’s been a whole 15 years since tha original came out, durin’ my tymes of bein’ at tha 1^st college I was at. Now, my lil’ brother’s there! As far as this remix, it’s just a random remix fa 2023? Surprised SIDEPIECE made this a 128 BPM remix; even tha remix I had by Paul Anthony, back in 2008, was tha same pace. Now, durin’ these slowed-down tymes, we can still get this. Tha music doesn’t have much to offer, except for when tha random build-ups happen. My Current Rating: 3.5

Wow @ this collab for 2023… When I think of Whitney & Thunderpuss, I think of my 2^nd year of usin’ a video camera. That footage I have of tha Spring of 2000 with Party 105 on, Whitney Houston & Thunderpuss goin’, “It’s Not Right, But It’s Okay”… Now, usually, I don’t go for Whitney, these dayz, but havin’ Chris Cox & Barry Harris of Thunderpuss rejoin for this, I’m sure some excitement finna happen! However, only 124 BPM for a new Thunderpuss sound? I’ono but I’ll have to hear to find out… >>> Sounds like some regular-soundin’ dance music of today; a lil’ plain, despite tha hype. Tha vocals can get a lil’ in tha way, at tymes, but it’s not that bad, considerin’ Thunderpuss on tha collab? Now, hearin’ tha bridge & last chorus definitely sounds a lil’ more like tha Thunderpuss I knew, in tha past! Definitely feelin’ that vibe of tha bridge & last chorus! That’s how people like Whitney Houston, Deborah Cox & other R&B singers got their proper clout in tha dance world! It was all about that anthemic sound! Wonder how people’ll react to this, on tha dance outlets? Hope Thunderpuss can keep contributin’, durin’ these odd tymes…! My Rating: 3.8

Glad we got a new female-vocal track, even tho this one’s just an okay track. Just seems like a regular dance track to make tha tyme go by, like, “la-la-la…” Not much to really say about it… My Current Rating: 3.7

Endin’ with ILLENIUM, no stranger to wrappin’ up an edition. This one’s out there but I didn’t grab it right away… >>> Sounds good with these slower beats & how Nina delivers tha vocals. Likin’ tha lil’ drop & most of tha parts of this track sound great to hear… Definitely nice to hear these two collab & bring some emotional vibes. I’ll see if I can grow on this one more or if it’ll need a remix… My Rating: 3.9
 
 
Overall: For all my excitement I had in tha beginning, this seemed like it had too many tracks that weren’t gonna do much with me. Too many of ‘em sound okay, as if we’re livin’ in a boring-but-continuously-workin’ world…
