Okay. BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!! Here's my review on the new Promo Only Dance Radio September 2006 CD:

01. Dirty South vs. Evermore "It's Too Late (Radio Edit)" -> By the looks of it (3:00), it doesn't look like the version Party 105 plays. It looks like Music Choice Dance's, which iz really gay (it cuts out a lot of the music). Let's see if I'm right... :arrow: Hmmm...it's similar to MCD's version, but a few things are missing...either way, sounds too short. Each part iz like 1/2 of the 4:56 version. Well, my rating doesn't go by how much I like the song: it goes by how much I like THIS version, and so, my rating iz originally a ****, but for this, it's 2 **. My Rating: **

02. Bob Sinclar Feat. Dollarman, Big Ali & Cutee B "Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now) (Radio Edit)" -> Maybe this song will grow on me in the future? I don't know...I liked "Zookey (Lift Your Leg Up)" better than this...I absoultely HATE the sample that's being used in this. :roll: :arrow: Okay...maybe I like it a lil' better, but still I think I hate that sample 'cause of KTU playing this first. :roll: I can picture this song being played on Top 40 stations, lol. :lol: My Rating: ***

03. Luther Vandross "Shine (Freemasons Radio Mix)" -> No offense, but I'm not too big about LV, especially when he's not alive anymore (R.I.P.) (I don't like hearing new songs from those that are not alive anymore), but let's see how this goes...ESPECIALLY with FM on the mix! :arrow: The chorus iz okay (with it going with the music), but like I said: I'm not too big about LV. The music iz okay as it's Freemasons, but we'll just leave it at it being "okay." My Rating: **


04. Sun "Gone (Ralphi Rosario Radio Edit)" -- VERY HIGH anticipation with a :25 INTRO!!! :arrow: Hmm...on the slower side...I like it. Something to catch my ears. My Rating: ***

05. Goldfrapp "Fly Me Away (Chuck Barrett Radio Edit)" -- HIGH anticipation for "Ms. Alison Goldfrapp"! Let's see what we got here...will this song be the next Goldfrapp song to stick like glue to my head? Let's see... :arrow: Can't help but to LOVE her vocals!! Although on the boring side, and sounding on the "fast" ambient side, this would be something to glue into my head easily if it gets anywhere. My Rating: ****

06. HelloGoodbye "Here (In Your Arms) (Tommie Sunshine Robots Up Radio Mix)" -> Don't know what to expect, so I'll just (as DJ Khaled would say) "l-l-l-LISTENNN!" :arrow: LOL @ that chorus... :lol: It like "emotionally" came outta nowhere. :lol: I really like the vocals on this! Tommie Sunshine did a good job remixing this song... My Rating: ***

07. Kim Sozzi "Break Up (Cascada Remix Radio Mix)" -> Kim + Cascada = ... Let's find out! VERY HIGH ANTICIPATION!!! :arrow: HOT Kim Sozzi!! The "repetitive" Cascada thing too! VERY HOT song!! My Rating: ****

08. Jason Antone "With You (Mr. Mig Radio Edit)" -> The remixer gives anticipation...let's see if it works: :arrow: Well it looks like Mr. Mig DEFINITELY used his 136 BPM magic on this song! It sounds HOT for a male vocal song! My Rating: ***

09. Mon A Q "It's My Turn (Lenny Bertoldo Radio Edit)" -> Lenny B...wow September's GOT A LOT of the HEAVY HITTERS! Or does it...lemme listen... :arrow: HOT like my pizza! :P The music's HOT and the vocals are not bad. My Rating: ***

10. Mickey “Mixin’” Oliver "Nothin' More To Give (Radio Edit)" -> Don't know what to expect... :arrow: HOT vocals, although the music iz kinda on the shy side. I like it tho. My Rating: ***

11. Formula "Water (Da Freeks Dark Remix-Radio)" -> Dark? Signed to a Spanish label? 4:37? Gotta peep it out! :arrow: I like what she says in the beginning. This song goes good with the part I'm in in Tomb Raider III. I like that it's a duet. It's not bad. The music iz something cool tho. 8) Not bad. My Rating: ***

12. Chris Willis "My Freedom (Radio Mix)" -> No before listen comment. I'm just going to listen to it. :arrow: "Ghostbusters" huh? Sorry I don't really like it. My Rating: *

13. Jessica Simpson "A Public Affair (Johnny Budz Radio Mix)" -> LOVE how JB did his remixin' thang on this! My Rating: ****

14. The Pussycat Dolls "Buttons (Dave Aude Button Fly Mix)" -> LOL @ these mix names: "Button Fly"? :lol: Anyway, I like the original/remix with Snoop Dogg, so we'll see how this goes: :arrow: HOT remix, that's all I gotta say! I'd rather hear Snoop Dogg on this remix tho. My Rating: ***

15. Lucky Twice "Lucky (Radio Edit)" -> As soon as I seen the artist/title, I thought to myself: I'm lucky, lol. Anyway, I'm anticipated for this, so let's hope it's good! :arrow: Hmm...I really like the chorus. It sounds like a pop song. The music iz good. My Rating: ***

16. Mischa Daniels "Take Me Higher (Radio Edit)" -> The hot trance song! :arrow: The song from 2004 "Can't Hide Now Baby" was hot and so iz this! Love those vocals and the music iz hot! The vocals remind me of a baby (in a good way; I guess because of the 2004 song "Can't Hide Now Baby")! :P My Rating: ***

17. Strobe Feat. Berkhouse Synder "Where Do We Go (Radio Edit 1)" -> K...O...C...H...records! Radio Edit 1? Where's 2? :? J/P It's only 2:47 so let's hope it's good. KOCH never let's me down! Strobe...DJ Strobe? :arrow: Hmm...the music iz okay. The vocals are either okay or so so. The lyrics are kinda so-so too. My Rating: **

18. David Guetta vs. The Egg Feat. Chris Willis "Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away) (Radio Edit)" -> The Egg? How about The Chicken? LOL...it's nothing but "the chicken" when I'm around! :lol: I hope "The Egg" gives the right anticipation! :arrow: That music in the beginning almost threw me off, but then it got REAL HOT. Then it changed to not bad music. The vocals are not bad either. Kinda repetitive throughout the middle, but that HOT chorus iz good! My Rating: ***

19. Soulseekerz Feat. Kate Smith "Party For The Weekend (Judge Jules Radio Edit)" -> Iz this the mix everyone plays? I bet'cha it iz. Let's find out! :arrow: Yup this iz the mix everyone plays (EDIT: Nope, the original version was)! Okay song. Vocals and music matches okay. It's not gonna enter my playlist yet. Maybe it'll enter one day...maybe September 29th when I go camping! My Rating: ***

20. Brooke Hogan "About Us (Up In My Bizness Radio Mix)" -> This CHEE$Y pop song...iz Paul Wall in it? He's gotta be 'cause they're singing/rapping together throughout the song. The original iz REAL cheezy 'cause it's produced by Scott Storch (I'm sick of him and Jermaine Dupri producing like EVERY pop song out there). :roll: Let's see how this (lol @ the mix) "Up In My Bizness" (lol :lol: ) mix does. :arrow: SMH @ no Paul Wall...they rap/sing together...how? I hear different vocals in the background so that's good. The chorus sounds REAL HOT on this remix tho! Unexpectically, I really like it. What the hell at "up in my bizness?" She doesn't say that in the original... :? My Rating: ****

21. Paris Hilton "Turn It Up (DJ Dan's Hot 2 Trot Edit)" -> Paris to the...Hilton! I love that last name! Hilton! You know I'm anticipated for it, so let's see...iz the CD gonna end in a GREAT way, or a BAD way...probably GREAT! :arrow: Not bad...not what I expected. It's okay for me. I think I'd rather hear the verses than the "better turn me on/gotta make me hotter." My Rating: ***


Overall: The CD was okay...not as good as August's, but that's okay. Maybe October's will be better? Too much high anticipation for this CD. Here's the totals:

01- Justin Timberlake Feat. Timbaland "Sexyback (Clean Version)" -- Smh @ "clean version..." that doesn't belong in dance music! It's more like "Radio Edit". For me I really like this song. Justin iz cool at times...he tried to sing this song as a rock singer he said in an interview about him returnin' to the music game. Remember PO: DANCE MUSIC iz NOT produced by TOP RAP PRODUCER/sometimes rapper Timbaland. Anyway, I love when it says "get'cha sexy on! " My Rating: ***

02- Kathy Phillips "When You Say Nothing At All" -- Gettin' ready for this one! Yeah this iz HOT! HOT music, HOT vocals! Rating: ****

03- Sasha Dith "Russian Girls (Short Radio)" -- ANTICIPATED FOR THIS (and in a GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT MOOD)! Hmm......not what I expected, but still sounds hot here and there! That fade in chorus part sounds funny.........the chorus iz good tho. Rating: ***

04- Kaskade Feat. Sunsun "Be Still" -- Here comes Kaskade.......what should I expect......something different and strange to me. I bet'cha this would grow on me.......I like that chorus tho. Rating: ***

05- Nelly Furtado Feat. Timbaland "Promiscuous (Ralphi Rosario Radio Mix)" -- Somewhat waiting to hear the whole thing........I believe it sounded like the remix of "Don't Cha." Anywayz, HOT remix to me! 2 of 2 remixes passing the test (the other remix was with Rick Ross)! Rating: ***

06- Cheyene Kimball "Hanging On (Mac Q Remix Radio Edit)" -- I hope Mac Quayle did a GOOD job on this like with "Strike." Lemme see.....:shock: Wow it feels like every part in this remix does a GOOD job! Good job MQ! I underrated it, lol. :lol: Rating: ****

07- Peter Luts & Dominico "What A Feeling" -- I already knew this song from Party 105, and even BLI played it in their Late Night Dance Mix Show. This was on like CRAZY on Party 105 while I was in Long Island last week! GREAT WEEK! Rating: ***

08- Barcera "Secret Of Love (Central Seven Radio Edit)" -- Waiting on this 143 BPM song!!!!.....Sounds Cascadaish a lil'. Like it. Rating: ***

09- Christina Aguilera "Ain't No Other Man (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit)" -- It better say a$$! :!: Hmm...this ain't the Music Choice Dance version, but I think it's the Party 105 version. Like that its got that "dance" to it now! Like this. Rating: ***

10- E-Type Feat. Na Na "Paradise" -- I don't know what to expect from this...lemme check it out... I like the collaboration here. The music iz hot (especially after the chorus) and the vocals are good, as well as the chorus! Euro sounding! Rating: ***

11- Jessica Simpson "A Public Affair" -- Not a dance song, but I LOVE this song! Especially the Johnny Budz remix! PO pick that up for September! Summer anthem! It's funny how this made Dance Radio, Rhythm Radio, and Mainstream Radio, lol. :lol: Rating: ****

12- Jillian "Love U All Over (FRONT Radio Edit)" -- THE MOMENT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEARD ON PARTY 105 ONCE WHILE I WAS DOWN IN LONG ISLAND, BUT NOW, I'M GONNA HEAR IT AGAIN! This iz what happens when a pop song iz before this! Well I really like it! The chorus and music iz hot, as well as her vocals! I heard it on July 18th! Rating: ****

13- Robert G Feat. Kate Lesing "Highest Mountain" -- Hmmm...I like the vocals and the music iz nice! Just because I'm in a GREAT MOOD, I'll give it a 4! Rating: ****

14- P!nk "Who Knew (Bimbo Jones Radio Mix)" -- "IF SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.................." or whatever she's saying. I probably was afraid of this remix 'cause of Bimbo's remix of "I Like The Way," which was bad. Here we go again with Music Choice Dance and their "skipped" intros. :roll: :roll: They start it as a fade on "if someone...," unless they play a club mix shortened. Oh well. Rating: **

15- BeatFreakz "Somebody's Watching Me (Hi_Tack Radio Edit)" -- "Somebody's Watching Me" >>>>>>>>> "Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U)" <- REAL TALK! :!: :!: When I first heard this, I fell DEEPLY in love with it! It's now my theme song to watchin' my Uncle Willy gamble his money away on the slot machine when I see him gambling at the smoke shop. Rating: ****

16- The Touch Feat. Marcie "Radio Station (Charly Fath Radio Edit)" -- Huh? Lemme check it out, lol. LOL, this song seems strange, but I like those vocals! It makes me wanna go hang out with my cool/good friend Lil' Frankie in Long Island, NY! "Radio station, all I got iz you." <- Thinkin' of this line right now. Well since I started hanging out with Lil' Frankie a lot now, I feel like I listen to my radio a lot less now in Long Island! That music from 0:09 - 0:16 (which iz repeated a few times in the song) iz REAL HOT, and it makes me upset 'cause I'm in Pennsylvania, and I can't hang out with my good/cool friend Lil' Frankie. I'm actually listening to this a second time right now! Rating: ****

17- Lionel Richie "I Call It Love (Moto Blanco Radio Edit)" -- My 62 year old grandma's love! This was actually the 5th new song I heard when I was down in Long Island. Lemme re-peep the remix: The chorus makes me wanna say "L O L" when it's dance remixed with his vocals. :lol: Not bad, although this "remix sounding the same on every song" thing iz slowly annoying me... :? And speaking of that, I'm sick of the new pop/r&b songs being produced by Scott Storch and Jermaine Dupri these dayz...that's another thing that's slowly annoying me.... Rating: **

18- Kim English "C'est La Vie (Hex Hector Club Remix)" -- "People reaching for the status quo." <- That was something random. Although I like "It Makes A Difference" better, I still really like hearing Mr. Hex Hector remix songs! I like this song tho. Rating: ***

19- Supermode "Tell Me Why" -- Hmmmmmm...okay but nothing special. Rating: **

20- Bob Sinclar Feat. Steve Edwards "World, Hold On (Children Of The Sky)" -- This song iz done with me........I never liked it anymore after May 19th...when my girl Marissa's sister deleted my Myspace comments. I almost wanted to skip this song, lol. Rating: ***

21- Pirates Of The Caribbean "He's A Pirate (Tiёsto Radio Edit)" -- Bring out the knives, lol! :lol: I never heard that intro before, and I don't think it was on iPartyRadio. My favorite part iz like 2:08 where the POTC music comes on! The good thing iz from 3:00 - 4:05 wasn't too crazy like my old version of this song. It's okay in my opinion. Rating: ***


Overall: This CD went by fast, but this was a GREAT CD. I think it's as good as June's CD.
