For tha 1^st tyme with my Promo Only reviewz, I’m reviewin’ str8 from Florida! That’s right! Coconut Creek, to be exact! I took a week’s vacation to visit my grandma, over this week & Dance Radio December 2021 just dropped! Not 100% sure how I gon feel about this edition, after viewin’ tha tracklist. I’ono if it’s ‘cause of some of tha tracks I already know but we’ll see how they all average out. I just know that at least, with me explorin’ tha beaches, that “Sun Came Up” has that theme that I’m currently chasin’ (sunrises at tha beaches)! With that bein’ said, lemme get inta this, so I can review it, add tha files & then, get ready to go explore more beaches, 2morrow morning! Start Tyme: 10:47 PM | End Tyme: 12:21 AM
 

 

Disclaimer: I type how I wanna type (frequent use of “tha” instead of “the,” “iz” instead of “is,” “a”-ending words instead of “er,” and a few others). I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it, I like it how I wanna like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. Sometymes, I may not rate a song too high on its first listen, but in tha future, I could be playin’ it more than a higher-rated song…

01. ILLENIUM & BANNERS “Hurts Like This”
Label: Warner
Kickin’ it off with this one… This was one of tha ones I wasn’t sure of, on tha listens I’ve had… >>> I remember BANNERS previous appearance on PO, earlier in tha year & I wasn’t a fan of them. Now, with this, I’m not really into tha slow, acoustic start with their vox. However, finally, after tha decent chorus, it sounds much better with tha progressive music/drop! Too bad it’s on tha short side; not really anticipatin’ all these tracks that take forever to reach an exciting point/full energy. Either way, at least this one had a good try with tha drop…! My Rating: 3.2
 
 
02. Joel Corry feat. Mabel “I Wish”
Label: Big Beat/EMG
From male vocals to female vocals, tha lack of interest out on my dance outlets continues with this one. Not really crazy about tha plain, deep-soundin’ music, compared to “OUT-OUT”! I thought these two coulda had a better collab, together; kinda feels dry, like “Sorry”. Again, another okay try. Maybe, they can try to collab again, one day? “I Wish”, basically, lol. My Current Rating: 3.3
 
 
03. Regard x Kwabs “Signals”
Label: Epic
Repeatin’ luck? Only with tha vocals, here; not likin’ tha male, deepness of tha vocals. However, this one has already entered my playlist, slowly progressin’. Just like “Hurts Like This”, this one’s main highlight iz tha drop. Cool lil’ music from Regard in tha drop but tha rest of tha track has a boring, slap-house vibe to it. Ouch @ tha “believe” part, at 1:48! He talks about his “eyes,” but what about my ears, lol? My Current Rating: 3.1
 
 
04. Alesso & Danna Paola “Rescue Me”

Prolly tha newest one of tha four tracks on here… Been seein’ it already get out there but how big will it be for me…? >>> Hope tha music gradually increases to somethin’ special… This one sounds good with tha vocals & tha chorus part’s not bad; good job, guys…! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & it sounds like this track’s continue to progress well. This track may need a lil’ work with my consistent listens; we’ll see how its future turns out ta be. Likin’ tha music part toward tha near-end & as it’s ending; at least that’s a plus. My Rating: 3.6
 
 
05. 3LAU feat. CXLOE “Worst Case”

One of tha newer ones on BPM (doesn’t even have an ID screen on there)… I added it just recently but just like “Signals”, it’s off to a slow start with me. However, this may be tha best of tha five, at least. Likin’ tha beginning music from 3LAU & this CXLOE chick. At least there’s a catch to tha music on this chorus, drop & pretty-much tha whole track! Good goin’, 3LAU! I think I’ll appreciate this one more, after I continue to hear it. I dunno if I’ve just overlooked it, while tryna play other songs more. Needless to say, good job from these two! My Current Rating: 4.3
 
 
06. SOFI TUKKER & John Summit “Sun Came Up”

Added it two months ago as a slow add; finally, it’s startin’ to catch on more with me, especially here in tha FL! Just gotta appreciate Sophie’s voice, includin’ when Tucker comes through on background! Also, how John Summit comes thru with tha appreciative music. Just sets tha mood, as they bring good house music to this year. Likin’ how they both also combined their instruments/musical ideas with tha production, too…! My Current Rating: 4.4
 
 
07. Tiësto & Ava Max “The Motto”

Likin’ that Mr. Ësto’s keepin’ tha heat comin’ for tha dance world! This tha 1^st track outta tha seven that I 0.00% heard, so a full-on 1^st listen’s finally here!! Hope these two really put their qualities together, here…! >>> Sounds more like a cool track than a good dance track? Feelin’ how Ava’s comin’ thru with her vocals & how she’s “puffin’ on that gelato;” most definitely! Dope-soundin’ 1^st verse from her & okay music from Mr. Ësto… Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s cool; I don’t fuck with tha “throwin’ that money” part, even tho I like tha “lotto” rhyme. I can’t believe next Wednesday, on tha 17^th, gon be a whole decade since my 1^st music robbery! Luckily, I got $500.00 of $555.00 of it on October 6, 2018, almost seven years later! Made me really analyze tha up-and-commers in tha music business & I’ve never been tha same since. To me, it’s a struggle in all wayz, emotionally, professionally, financially & ethically. Anyway, cool lil’ track from these two; interestin’ to hear how they collab’d for a cool one rather than a feel-good one, here…! My Rating: 4.3
 
 
08. Tritonal & Codeko “Superhuman”

Will this be a good collab, as well? Hope they combined to make somethin’ nice, here…! >>> Sounds like a good lil’ slow start with tha music & vocals, here… Not bad with tha 1^st verse & tha chorus ain’t too bad, as well. I’m likin’ how tha climax builds into tha drop, too; definitely nice, tha way Tritonal come through with it! Tha 2^nd verse progresses tha same as tha 1^st verse fa me; didn’t realize how fast this 4:08 went on by… Glad it ain’t drag out! Tha last 19 seconds sounds nice with how it slowly ends; great goin’, y’all…! My Rating: 4.2
 
 
09. Anabel Englund “Midnight Rapture”

I’d be surprised if this iz my top-rated song on here; I have a feelin’ it gon be! Gotta luv everything about it, especially for a slower-paced dance groove! Feelin’ tha whole rendition of Blondie’s “Rapture” in tha music, as its tease makes for a good lil’ dance song in 2021! Also, gotta luv Anabel’s vocals at all tymes!! Sexiness in that 1^st verse; gotta get ready for tha “rapture!” Also, that word, “Rapture;” I feel like it’s powerful! Awesome chorus with how she belts it out, too; good goin’, gurl…! Can’t deny tha 2^nd verse! Anabel with tha rappin’?! Definitely sounds nice but tha way she blends it with tha Blondie-remade music, tha lyrics about tha good candle vibe & her rap voice goes for a triple threat!! Then, when she switches back to tha singin’ & tha chorus part, it sounds awesome for a transition! Hope tha world can appreciate this as much as possible! Gotta “feel tha rapture!” My Current Rating: 4.8
 
 
10. Poo Bear “Distant Shore”

Just seen this on BPM, recently, and didn’t really feel it to add it right away. >>> Not likin’ tha instant start from Poo, here; liked him better on past collabs. This bein’ his 1^st solo track, as a main artist & it’s an okay effort for tha dance world. Tha music ain’t too bad on tha drop… Will this follow tha same vibe as “Sun Came Up”? I dunno but will we hear this 1,000x to absorb it to tha fullest? I dunno about 1,000… Hearin’ that 2^nd drop & it sounds a lot more interestin’ with those mysterious vocal chops! Definitely nice! As far as tha rest of this, yeah, good lyrics for tha “shore”/vibes that go with tha “shore” but I dunno how much interest I can build with this one, overall. My Rating: 3.5
 
 
½tyme: Seems a lil’ dry for this edition, as I predicted; it’s mainly ‘cause of all tha tracks I’m either familiar with or are already released on my dance outlets. Luckily, a few tracks stood out for me to boost tha average rating up to a 3.9, currently. I dunno how we’ll do for tha remaining 11 but we’ll see what happens.
 
 
11. Ryan Shepherd “Life Like This”

I feel like there could be some anticipation with “this”? Maybe…? >>> Sounds “like” somethin’ I mighta heard on one of tha Sirius XM channels? Tha “all in” part & tha beginning sounded “like” somethin’? Almost reminded me of tha Surf Mesa/Bipolar Sunshine collab’s chorus part. Hearin’ “this” song’s chorus & it sounds “like” it was made cheesy. Like, why iz it so repetitive? Music sounds halfway decent but overall, this shit’s more on tha cheesy side for me. My Rating: 3.4
 
 
12. Kungs “Lipstick”

Will it be cheesy like his last song? >>> Decent lil’ music start but yeah, those cheesy “Intoxicated”-like vocals are back! Not feelin’ tha title part; made me have low anticipation, at first. Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s, well, whatever; tha hook part sounds cheesy & annoying, lol…! Why “ooh-wah”?! Fuck these vocals; on to tha next track…! I hope this track flops; it’s not like “Never Going Home” made buku noise, too…! My Rating: 1.9
 
 
13. A7S “By My Side”

Usually, I don’t anticipate his tracks but I’ve been better with him. Speakin’ of annoying, I had thought his past song, “Nirvana”, woulda pissed people off. Now, let’s hear this one… >>> Sounds like an okay vocal start; feelin’ how tha music picks up throughout tha 1^st verse! Also, tha chorus sounds pretty nice; definitely likin’ tha energy! Will tha dance world try to appreciate this track by him? Like, tha solo approach, will it work for him? I do hope so; I’m feelin’ his solo efforts…! My Rating: 4.3
 
 
14. DJ Sammy & Alessia Labate “Bet On Me”

Got to know about this one, courtesy of Sirius XM’s throwback channel, Utopia. Glad they still believe in their O.G.s to tha dance world, such as Sammy. As far as this track, it’s more on tha decent/good vibe, here. Nothin’ too excitin’ with tha music, unfortunately, but I do appreciate Sammy for recruitin’ these new artists on to his tracks! Good new female vocals & nothin’ wrong with this track. I prolly coulda expected somethin’ better; I always have appreciated Sammy’s energy. This one? I’ono if it’ll get out there on tha main dance outlets, such as BPM. I think people need to appreciate Sammy more, as he hasn’t had much star power like back in tha 2000’s. My Current Rating: 3.7
 
 
15. Ewan McVicar “Tell Me Something Good”

Not feelin’ this radio edit; I like tha regular edit from Diplo’s Revolution better. Like, with this radio edit, it cuts into tha chorus way too quick, while tha edit has a verse in tha beginning, at least (& a longer “din-de-de-din-din,” lol). Either way, yeah, this a cover of tha old classic but I’m kinda feelin’ this track’s house vibe. I luv how my mom was on tha same perspective as mine, with these kinds of tracks on Diplo’s Revolution: “What’s with all these old songs, with new mixes?” Yeah, I get it… My Current Rating: 3.0
 
 
16. Nomra & Dan Soleil “Alive”

Seein’ somethin’ like this toward tha near-end of tha edition makes my anticipation go back up. Tha last Nomra song didn’t get tha exposure in tha dance world it should’ve received; I hope this one sounds just as good & follows a brighter future…! >>> Likin’ tha piano start, here… Hearin’ tha chorus & it makes me feel like it gon be a house track? Sounds like it & I’m feelin’ tha strength in tha drop part! Cool for these male vocals, too; not too many vocals & they sound good for tha ones that “feel alive!” I dunno how well this gon do, between tha dance world & my world, but it deserves its props. Prolly coulda been a lil’ shorter on tha edit, especially with how these dance/house tracks are today. Needless to say, I’m glad tha energy continued tha whole way through…! My Rating: 3.9

Been seein’ this one on Steve Aoki’s Remix Radio & now, it’s here. Just like Joel, here comes ¼ more of “OUT-OUT” & with him on tha mix, too. Gave it a listen but didn’t rush to add it; lemme give it another listen… >>> Sounds good with tha JC music; he coulda used this catchy music vibe for “I Wish”, at least…! As far as Charli on this one, she’s okay, here. Not as show-offy as “OUT-OUT” but it’s good for a softer side of Charli, here. Not 100% sure how interested I gon be in playin’ this that often but it’ll be good for a year-ending track, I guess? My Rating: 3.8
 
 
18. The BreakBomb Project & ashley d. “Waiting For”

Anticipatin’ tha Overdrive label & these two new acts, here! Hope it’ll be worth somethin’ valuable…! >>> First few acapella seconds coulda been somethin’ special, even tho it transitioned into a slow, acoustic start… Hearin’ these vocals & they ain’t bad; I just want some exciting music/beats…! Geez, hearin’ tha chorus part/drop part & it reminds me of LODATO & Bright Sparks “Good Thing”, a lil’. That was tha #18 song on last December’s edition! Crazy?! Got bored with that track & as far as this, it’s only on tha decent side. A lil’ catchy with tha vocalizin’ on tha drop, at least; I’ll give it just that. My Rating: 3.5
 
 
19. GATTÜSO “Bad Decisions”

Not too sure what to expect with a new GATTÜSO track, here… >>> Tha intro with tha catchy beat part sounds like it gon be somethin’ on tha cool side? However, hearin’ these male vocals & they sound like they’re more on tha serious dance side? Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s on tha slap-house side; ick… Likin’ tha drop part after tha chorus, tho; nice lil’ catchy part to open up my ears…! As far as tha track, itself, it may have to grow on me. Dependin’ on how it does in tha mainstream, its exposure’ll help me decide on how well it’ll do with me. If it doesn’t get out there, it’ll be more of a gamble ‘cause it’ll be added in January with me. My Rating: 3.7

Not too sure about this one, too… >>> Oh wait, I mighta heard this on one of tha BPM shows, not that long ago… Sounds more like a mix between a cool & feel-good dance track, with these R&B-like vocals… Likin’ tha vocal energy on tha chorus & tha appreciation of a “Holiday,” here; good shit! I luv how I make my own holidayz: Whichever dates don’t have a meaning, I create those meanings! I also let them create their meanings for me, when I don’t expect ‘em to! Tha rest of this flows through smoothly; great job from these three acts, here…! My Rating: 4.4
 
 
21. Steve Aoki, Jolin Tsai & MAX “Equal In The Darkness”

Endin’ with an Aoki song, str8 from his channel… Mighta got a snippet of this but it was nothin’ I was gonna jump for joy for… >>> Nothin’ much poppin’ with tha 1^st verse from MAX, here, but I like how him & Jolin sing tha chorus part. Not much goin’ on with tha drop but it’s nothin’ terrible, at least. Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse & I’m feelin’ Jolin’s vocals, throughout tha verse; nice job…! As far as Aoki’s vibe, I can’t ever categorize him; he makes everything, it seems? Any pace, any dance sub-genre? My Rating: 3.4
 
 
Overall: Not too much excitement came outta this edition fa me, as a good portion of tha tracks were on my outlets, already. Maybe, this ain’t tha best tyme for music-focusing, since tha year’s ending? I think so, even for my own self & tryin’ to keep up with everything. I’m tryna wrap up my music project’s last four videoz; I have to edit two & get two shot. One of ‘em, I had to cancel one of my flights & I’m waitin’ to go to Vegas to finish it; hope it happens. As far as dance music’s future, yeah, it sounds like most tracks are gonna be decent till more exciting events happen. Think: Snow’s coming! I haven’t seen any, yet, tho scrapin’ my car in tha morning’s been frosty & iz like creatin’ my own snow…!

Been on tha move a lot, as I’ve been tryna enjoy my weekends with tha fall foliage approaching. It’s tyme for Promo Only Dance Radio November 2021 & it looks like a dope edition! I remember tha last November edition, where I did it live with tha fall foliage in full effect. This year, it seems like it’s a lil’ delayed & this edition’s a lil’ earlier than last year’s. With that bein’ said, I’m just gonna get inta this; let tha colors & tymes shine!! Start Tyme: 4:12 PM | End Tyme: 6:09 PM
 
 
Disclaimer: I type how I wanna type (frequent use of “tha” instead of “the,” “iz” instead of “is,” “a”-ending words instead of “er,” and a few others). I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it, I like it how I wanna like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. TELYKast with Sam Gray “Unbreakable”

Kickin’ off with tha TELYKasters, for this edition… Glad to see their “Nobody To Love” track get good recognition, throughout this year! As far as this track, it’s a decent lil’ male-vocal track. I mean, I do like it better than Sam’s appearance on tha February 2021 edition with tha “Say Hello” collab. I liked that one a lil’ more on tha 1^st listen, due to Riddler bein’ on tha mix. With this, this sounds like a grower track; feelin’ tha strong chorus & slappy drop. I just originally thought tha verses were a lil’ dry & this tha 1^st tyme I’m hearin’ a full-on male vocal on a TELYKast track. They previously had ½ of a full-on with Khalid, two editions ago. With that bein’ said, I’ll give this one slightly more props & now, we’ll see if it can break into my playlist. My Current Rating: 4.0
 
 
02. Afrojack, Lucas & Steve x DubVision “Anywhere With You”

A triple threat, here? Hope so; hope it’s tha next big anthem for tha fall? That’s what I’m feelin’ when I see this…! >>> For tha mysterious male on tha vocals, here, they sound like they deliver a catchy flow with tha chorus…! Hearin’ tha pre-drop & drop…; sounds nice & anthemic, in a mainstream-dance way. I’ll give it a good amount of props, due to its progressive-housey-type of vibe…! My Rating: 4.4
 
 
03. York & Au/Ra “Golden Hour”

Awesome way of connectin’, here, but not just on an ordinary level. Between last year, on September 5^th & beyond, I got to know & met up with daddy/son combo artists from Louisiana ([] & CartelBoy Teezy). As I just was with them on September 25^th & 26^th, soon after comes this track & like [] says, “Factz.” Well, “factz” iz RIGHT ‘cause one of tha Yorkers iz daddy of Au/Ra, which iz awesome, x2! Neva imagined they were related but it’s such an awesome relation!! Not only this fact but my very-first year-end countdown from 2000, in January 2001, was still tha most-recent tyme York were on there (“On The Beach”); crazy? A 21-year comeback?! CartelBoy Teezy & Au/Ra weren’t even born, yet, lol! With that bein’ said, awesome lil’ dance/house vibe for creating a “Golden Hour” of awesome moments!! Tha combination of tha awesome, upbeatness in tha music & Au/Ra’s confident vibe makes this for an awesome collab! Power to tha daughter-daddy collab! Like, back on tha May 2010 edition, daughters-daddy collaborators, Gaia & Luna, as well as Ago, all contributed to their track, “Give It Up”. However, with “Golden Hour”, this tha 1^st tyme it’s credited in a way that represents both daddy-[kid] on tha ID! “Factz!” Gotta luv tha awesome gold this track’s vibes bring to tha mind & way to believe in tha future!! My Current Rating: 4.9
 
 
04. Yves V x CORSAK x Leony “Where Do You Think You Are Going”

Bring it on! What will come outta this new collab…?! >>> For some reason, I’ono why, but I ain’t expect tha female & instant start! Definitely sounds awesome & progresses awesomely! Definitely feelin’ it! I feel like it’s like a StoneBridge-soundin’ production on tha chorus/drop! Awesome sawce! Pre-chorus goes hard, as it leads into tha chorus, especially on tha 2^nd tyme! Didn’t get to say a whole lot but I just took tha track in, as much as possible! Glad I did; no filler!! My Rating: 4.8
 
 
05. Warren “Dream About U”

A new Robbins track that’s been gettin’ out there. Though already broken into my playlist, I only think it’s an okay song, so far. Nothin’ on a bad side but I’ono, maybe, it’s a hidden chick on tha vocals? That adjective: “hidden”; it has an effect & affects my perspective of tha track, at tymes. Like, I always like to put a face with an ID; that’s how I look at it. Tha mainstream need to show luv all tha way! With that bein’ said, this may be a grower track, maybe? I’ll let it rake up some spins for now & we’ll see how it progresses, throughout tha fall. My Current Rating: 3.9
 
 
06. Fred again.. “Billie (Loving Arms)”

Likin’ this Diplo’s Revolution-discovering Fred dude…! Though already dance vs. dance-remade by Karen Overton for 15 summers ago, here comes Fred’s version. I have to say, I like tha vibe he brings to tha “Billie [Ray Martin]” ‘90s track, into his own vibe. Sometymes, tha remakes that go in certain wayz, vs. covers, make for better odds to catch on more, if artists go this route in dance music. Needless to say, lol @ tha “play that shit…” part at 2:51! It’s like Fred don’t want these “arms” to let go! That’s a good vibe, basically, to keep tha faith & continuing! Props for tha upbeatness & revivin’ tha “Billie” track! I wonder how much bigger this track’ll get, later on? My Current Rating: 4.3

I’ono how this one’ll do in tha dance world, tho; tha previous EPB single didn’t get out there, on my outlets… Who knows, tho; tha luck’s with me, I feel like, as far as tha better songs gettin’ tha better pushes, today… My Rating: 4.2

Ofenbach are more known for just okay 1^st-listens but with this one, it sounds like it takes over their catalog by their own tropical storm, here! Meaning, I feel like these two did an awesome job together, here! Definitely on tha perfection level, especially that pre-chorus!! Funny ‘cause it goes with tha vape pen: “I’m counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…!” Yeah, by tha seconds of holding! Crazy ‘cause that’s my favorite part of this song ‘cause Ella holds it down with tha vocals!! Definitely a pure collab & how they put this one together!! Glad Music Choice Dance iz on this one & I hope it gets to be big in tha dance world—any world, basically! Tha grind at tha full-tyme be havin’ my mind so active that my “mind” be spinning just “like a hurricane!!” I guess that’s how you continue to make your brain active, just like mine, where I remember artist, title, mix, label & BPMs off tha top of my head, while I play each song? Magic powers? Been 15 years strong! As far as Ofenbach on their strong route with Ella, I think it’s definitely one of tha more special ones & I hope they continue to go with this vibe. Just like how I felt with tha Warren track, tha “hidden” vocal vibe these artists go with “matters” to me, imo. As far as this track, tha music ain’t really too special for a Mahalo-based production. I’ve felt more of his vibes in tha past, such as “Not Watching Anymore” & “So Cold”. Vocals are a lil’ on tha soulful side for me & nothin’ shines that much on this track. Not terrible but just closer to tha decent side, imo. My Current Rating: 2.9
 
 
½tyme: Sounds like a bunch of strong highlights, especially with those that are already out—“OUT-OUT,” as JC, JJ, CXCX & S would say, lol! A 4.2-rated release, currently; awesome start…! Let’s see what remains & how it will turn up or down tha edition…!

I’m expectin’ somethin’ huge with this one! Will my expectations be too high? H…m…m.. … >>> A cool lil’ start; nice chorus with this “Borderline” way of livin’! Gotta enjoy, imo, tha warm weather & atmospheres! Tha drop part’s pretty catchy with those vocal-chops! Cool effect for this collab! Hearin’ tha verse & it sounds good with tha vocals, at tymes; needless to say, dope collab! My Rating: 4.4
 
 
12. DJ Licious feat. Armen Paul “Hope”

Mighta heard a snippet of this on Beta BPM…; may only be another okay track… >>> I know of one DJ Licious track from Music Choice Lounge, on tha MC app; it’s sappy & played too much on there. However, since I based my expectations off that for this, at least this iz better. These male vocals are a lil’ on tha interesting side, especially durin’ tha chorus. Definitely likin’ tha continuous way tha title iz said, in a choir-like form! I’ll give this one a lil’ more props, due to tha catchiness of tha chorus; “Hope” it makes noise in tha world! My Rating: 4.5
 
 
13. Eli & Fur “Come Back Around”

Looks awesome that this one’s gettin’ out there on this edition. Heard this on Electro 15 b4 tha summer started & it gives me a good reminder of me filmin’ a bunch of my recently-released music videoz! I’m likin’ this new edit, with tha intro! Cool shit…! As far as tha track, I’m feelin’ these two with their vocals, music & catchiness of tha song, overall! All tha way round, too! Definitely a plus with tha added music; makes tha song less repetitive & averages it out more! My Current Rating: 4.7
 
 
14. Paul Oakenfold & Aloe Blacc “I’m In Love”

Anotha one str8 from tha BPM shows… I know Mr. Oakenfold has always been versatile with his sound/tracks for decades but this one’s a too-dry approach, imo. Not tha craziest about Mr. Aloe & tha slower beats don’t do me no justice. Some of tha sounds are cool for tha dance world & its mainstream. However, like, with tha songs he released three & four years ago, those sounded a lot better but coulda been recognized a lot more. As this track goes on with tha bridge, all that savin’ iz a lil’ ehh… I went thru tha POOL last week & grabbed tha Nat Monday Remix because of its faster, trancey vibe. Luckily, that separates itself from bein’ on tha dry level as tha orig.! I may not be fuckin’ wit da orig. but if it gets tha “bigger” push, hopefully, it’ll get Mr. Oakenfold back to more success…! Success for future-future bangerz, at an ageless tyme! My Current Rating: 2.3

Likin’ tha upbeat vibes, tho they’re more cool than special, like how tha original’s sounds/vibe went. Either way, guess this tha mixshow vibe of today? Also, lol @ Saweetie only havin’ four words on this appearance: “DJ, run it back!” At least she had four words, unlike tha rapless tymes of tha past, in tha dance world! My Current Rating: 4.4
 
 
16. Riton x RAYE “I Don’t Want You”

How will this do from “Friday”? I see tha others from “Friday” all went on a “Holiday” route with their follow-up? Don’t think that one’s goin’ anywhere. As far as Riton with RAYE, here, I’m feelin’ how they combine their catchiness to tha track, altogether! Definitely catchy sounds used by Mr. Riton & RAYE knows how ta hold tha vocals down, on tha chorus! Mimickin’ tha catchiness of Riton!! Also, cool how she sounds like she spits tha rhymes in a different flow! It’s all about tha multi-flow in this music game, these dayz! Gotta have multiple perspectives on tha track! Real ones, of course! Makin’ me think of tha old MTV dayz with that “pimp my ride” line, like “Pimp My Ride”…! My Current Rating: 4.5

I think I caught this one on one of tha shows, recently, as well… Remakin’ tha “Dolly Song” from my dayz at college? Weird ta know that there would still be interest in that Doll that I knew 14 years ago! >>> Hearin’ it in its entirety & tha vibe sounds good, on tha 1^st verse. Sounds like a completely different track till tha chorus comes. Now, hearin’ tha chorus & I can tell tha “Dolly Song” rhythm iz there! Also, this Karma Child gives me some good Gia Koka vibes, with her voice; definitely good channeling of energy! Awesome for a Doll! Hearin’ tha drop, too & it sounds pretty slap-dry, tha way a slap-house track would sound. However, when tha sounds start expandin’ later on, it adds, like, sugar to tha taste of how I feel about tha track. Just like Riton x RAYE’s track, awesome multi-flown vocals! My Rating: 4.4

That was where my mind went with tha NYC but if it’s 122, does that mean we’re goin’ tha freestyle route? >>> Threw me off from my anticipation, since it’s more on a deep-soundin’ vibe. Hearin’ tha female vocals & they sound like a cool chick from tha NYC. It’s like a good lil’ dose of early ‘00s with tha R&Bness. Hearin’ tha chorus & it blends nicely with tha 1^st verse. For tha longest track on here at 4:07, it seems like it drags a lil’ too long. Tha song has some good qualities to it but not enough energy in tha music or vocals to keep my interest that long. Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s pretty anthemic. Also, tha drop’s pretty addictive-soundin’! Definitely feelin’ tha catchiness, in a unique way! Like, think: A decade ago, at this tyme, we had a different Florida rapper on a unique track: Pitbull, when Havana Brown made her PO debut with “We Run The Night (Remix)”; awesomeness! Can’t believe that’s a whole decade ago, already! I still chase that same dream of those tymes! For 2021, I’m glad we got that interestin’ catchiness, here; go, “Adrenalina”! My Rating: 4.3

One of those recently-released tracks on BPM, to close this edition off… I always associate HALIENE with a vocal-trance sound; when I hear these slower vibes from her, it doesn’t 100% hit tha same. I mean, they’re cool in their own way but not enough energy, at tymes. Re-hearin’ tha chorus part & it’s nice, especially with these lyrics; tha drop sounds good for a 75-paced track, too. Overall, this remix gives off a cool lil’ trap vibe, imo; not too bad, overall. My Current Rating: 4.2
 
 
Overall: Sounded like a nice edition, here; lots of power when power’s been due! Awesome to feel like November gon be a dope month! Props to all tha good vibes! Edition was lit—our dance world gon be/continue ta be lit, throughout this season!
