What it do it’s yo boy Frankie back wit another review (it’s about damn time)!! This iz my 79^th review I’ve eva done (I checked yesterday by postin’ all my review links on my music MySpace page). I’m about to review tha Promo Only Dance Radio May 2008 CD, but before I do, I just gotta say that there’s prolly around ½ tha CD I already know. I have some anticipation, but can’t be too excited for now. Also a year ago today, I did tha Promo Only Dance Radio May 2007 CD review, so this iz fallin’ on tha same day again! Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Madonna Feat. Justin Timberlake & Timbaland “4 Minutes (Bob Sinclar Space Funk Edit)”

1^st song/remix I know. Tha longest PO song I’m eva reviewing (previous record was “The Wings” at like 4:53)!! This iz “4 minutes”, 58 seconds! Lol @ tha longness. I think it’s more “boring” long. MCD added 3 mixes so far: this, Junkie XL (which has less vocals, but iz tha best), and Tracy Young (which iz pure bleh). I think this iz too soulfully, but we’ll see… >>> Okay good it’s not soulfully in tha beginning (tha soul sounding one iz tha Tracy Young one). Sounds like Miguel Migs’s type of music during tha :40-1:05 parts. Love all those “tick tock, tick tock”s. :tu Damn there must be a real good mix out there (there’ll prolly be like 30+ remixes like wit “Gimme More”) ‘cause this mix iz too plain/late nightish/Miguel Migs ish. If I want somethin’ real long, its gotta be trancey, or like “Goodnight Tonight”. I like tha music parts when Timbaland hits tha mic. :tu Easily tha original over this, but we’ll see how this does wit me. My Rating: 3.8

02. Kim Sozzi “Like A Star (Peter Luts Radio Edit)”

2^nd song I know. Glad they put this on here other than tha Mynt remix that MCD plays. This iz better, and let’s see if I can feel it more. Might start to like tha chorus more too… >>> Oh yeah real nice intro! :tu Yeah I really love that beginning of tha chorus!! Oh I can’t wait to give it airplay!! Speaking of Kim Sozzi, only 2 more dayz ‘til I go to Long Island, New York (for only one day ‘cause tha day after ‘til May 11^th, I go to Florida)!! :tu Oh yeah forgot to mention MCD also added this mix as well. :tu Definitely good to have it as Song No. 2 on here! My Rating: 4.3

03. Sirens “Club La La (Jody Den Broeder Radio Mix)”

A Nervous Records song at No. 3 on PO. First song I don’t know, but I saw a pic of them on tha MixaHolic blog, and it’s girls, so definitely a High AL!! >>> It has a mix between an Electronic and Dance intro. Pretty good start so far. More for tha clubs than a bigger personal opinion for me. I like tha “lookin’ so fly” part right before tha chorus. Will prolly get used to this better in tha future. My Rating: 3.9

EDIT: PO just lists it as a “Radio Edit”, but it’s really Jody Den Broeder on tha radio mix!

04. George Lamond “Don’t Stop Believin’ (Radio Edit)”

Gonna see if this iz hot enough to become a real big comeback! >>> Hey I like tha intro. Gonna remind me of a remake. Real good music. Sounds like it’ll be a comeback and major add on a lot of outlets. It sounds so much like your average Adult Top 40 Alternative music… only wit a HOT dance beat. Now if only those Adult Top 40 stations could play some shit like this. It’s so ‘80s right here!! My Rating: 4.2

05. Out Of Office Feat. Marcella Woods “Break Of Dawn 2008 (Suitcase At The Door) (Radio Edit)”

3^rd song I know. I actually found this posted on MixaHolic’s blog 2 and a ½ months ago, and because I got to talk to this rapper Dee-1 by calling him (that my boy Jimmy The DJ manages), I got real excited, and I wanted to try and find a new exclusive Dance song that no one had, so I tried this song, and what do ya know… I dumped it. :td Tha length looks familiar, so we’ll see if this tha same one I d/l’ed (which was just labeled as “Radio Edit”). And I think it’s a PO error ‘cause they forgot to put Marcella Woods on tha Feat. again. Oh yeah forgot to mention that (lol) this statistically became my Highest AL, lol. >>> Sounds like a ‘90s dance beat in tha beginning. Lol @ tha “Suitcase at tha door” parts. Sounds better from when I first heard it. There had to have been somethin’ wrong wit tha Radio Edit I had. This iz much better. *Goes and checks tha version I had previously…* Yup I had tha same version as this PO version. Maybe tha House style threw me off ‘cause it wasn’t like “Hands Up”, but yeah, I like it now (don’t worry)! :tu My Rating: 3.8

06. Jonas Brothers “When You Look Me In The Eyes (Jason Nevins Radio Edit)”

4^th song I know. If you check on tha PO site, it’ll say “70 BPM”. It’s really not. PO forgot to make a new link for tha remix (which iz really 132 BPM; sometimes that new PO site doesn’t do tha full update; if you see “The Longest Road”, it doesn’t show tha mix when you click its info). But anyway, another song that I DUMPED on my Pump It Or Dump It, lol (2 in a row; what odds are that)!! But I can trust OOO & MW for me to like unlike this Pop/Rock shit. So much fuckin’ Low AL on re-hearing!! :td :td :td >>> Was gonna feel tha 1^st verse slightly more, but then that chorus came on. Ewe… Reminds me a lil’ of tha Backstreet Boys remix on tha November 2007 CD. My Rating: 2.7

07. Kaskade Feat. Becky Williams “4:00 AM (Adam K & Soha Radio Edit)”

What does Kaskade have in stock now? Curious… >>> Hey those BPMs sounds SO much like “Deep At Night” :rofl :rofl Didn’t expect tha girl. Does Adam K & Soha have to do wit Kaskade or was PO lazy to put them in tha RE? Yup tha music iz 100% on some “Deep At Night” shit. Tha vocals are nice and smooth (maybe too smooth for this song), but nice OM Lounge type of music. My Rating: 3.6

08. Crazy Loop “Crazy Loop (Mm Ma Ma) (Radio Edit)”

I think this iz tha fastest one on here at 133 BPM. Definitely a real High AL on this one since tha artist/title/label are all pretty much tha same! >>> *Jaws drop* Bangin’!! Really lovin’ tha music. Tha vocals make it good too. Wow this iz bangin’ I can’t say it more… Yeah. :tu I easily knew this was real good by tha label being unknown to me and it bein’ an original production. My Rating: 4.7

09. Morgan Page Feat. Lissie “The Longest Road (deadmau5 Remix Radio Edit)”

5^th song I know. This iz… tha BIGGEST MCE song of tha year IMO. HUGE airplay on there, and they play tha full Club Mix (MCD are you scared now, lol)!! A nice slow jammer. Anyway, givin’ my review right now! >>> Of course it has a better quality than tha RE I got from LW. This might be pretty popular on other dance outlets. iPR showin’ it some luv. Everytime I play it, I picture a long road (I was playin’ it on my hike on Wednesday, tha 23^rd, and I was on a small trail). I like tha part in tha chorus where she’s like somethin’ wit “in a bar and you’re just left there.” And MCE loves it ‘cause they love Morgan Page. My Rating: 4.0

10. Christian George “Strangers (Wideboys Radio Edit)”

This an unknown label for me… Wideboys mixin’ this… What could come outta this… Prolly somethin’ good hopefully. >>> Whoa what’s wit tha zero second intro? A lil’ scary for me. Music sounds more like Linus Loves. Lol @ tha short length. I thought it was skippin’ for a sec, but that’s tha Wideboys doin’ that. Lol. I know Wideboys mix a lot of hit mixers. What iz this then? I have no clue. Kinda not feelin’ it too much on a first listen. What’s wit that repetitive chorus? My Rating: 3.0

½time: I would say good start. Two bad songs. Lol @ that. Usually it’s only one real bad one on tha CD for me.

11. Seal “The Right Life (Eddie Amador’s USA Club Radio Edit)”

6^th song I know. This iz tha MCD mix. I actually like it better than “Amazing” a lil’ (mainly tha music). iPR plays tha Single Edit, and that’s actually got a Dance beat. I like those “pretty-uh”s. I like how Eddie Amador switched up his style for a hit mixer (his usual style iz wit his partner Rod Carrillo, where it’s that odd/plain sounding for tha Carrillo Music label). My Rating: 4.1

12. Cato K Feat. Kelly D “Feel Better (Radio Edit)”

I think this an Ultra Records song… >>> Like that slammin’ intro. :tu I thought this was gonna be “better”, but I don’t see much catch in this. Gonna see what happens in tha future wit this one. My Rating: 3.3

13. Robbie Rivera Feat. Denise Rivera “Back To Zero (Miami Vocal Radio Mix)”

Let’s see what’s gonna happen wit RR this time… >>> Smooth start, smooth vocals, tha usual RR music. Lol @ this CD; 2 songs wit 2:48 length, and then 2 songs wit 4:28 length. Sounds good. Hope MC (which ever channel) gets it. They ignored tha last song, so they better get this if they wanna represent correctly. I think it’s more on tha MCD feel. My Rating: 3.6

14. Supafly Inc. “Be Together (Radio Edit)”

Their 3^rd song. Each song was on a different label: “Let’s Get Down” was Ultra, “Moving Too Fast” was Nervous, and this iz Thrive/ThriveDance. This iz my Highest AL right here!! Its got not 128 BPMs, but 132 (that’s a lot better than tha average)! Very High AL!!! >>> A pretty good start. Should be a Summer anthem. I really like tha music and tha whole vibe. Tha vocals are still good (like their other songs). My Rating: 4.6

15. Rod Carrillo & Eddie Amador Feat. Ronnie Sumrall “Save Me (Radio Edit)”

I hope they continued their good music!! >>> Bring out tha unexpected… What to expect… Music iz pretty decent. Tha vocals are kinda dry, but they still work out for me. Lmao @ that 2^nd chorus wit those EMOTIONAL VOCALS! OOH!!! LOL!! I like tha “Nonsense Words” song better. My Rating: 3.7

16. Sia “The Girl You Lost To Cocaine (StoneBridge Radio Edit)”

7^th song I know. MCD has this in heavy rotation (!!!), and this sounds exactly tha same wit tha music a lil’ like tha Sander Van Doorn mix (which I have). I prefer my 5:18 Sander Van Doorn mix (even tho it’s hella long). Lol! I love tha “I met tha girl that you—I met tha girl that you—I met tha girl that you—I met tha girl that you…” parts!!! It plays for 58 seconds straight, lol (on tha version I have). When I first heard that, I thought this song was gonna be more emotional, but that just caught me off guard!! I leave that part on my grandma’s answer machine sometimes, and she thinks I’m nuts. She gets a kick outta it, and when I would play it 2x fast for my lil’ cousins & Lil’ Frankie, they (including myself) laugh our asses off!! :rofl Love tha title too! >>> :rofl :rofl @ Ultra Records!! This was originally on Hear Music! :rofl :rofl At tha 1:00 part, tha music switches up a lil’, and my version doesn’t have a 2^nd verse. I think tha 2^nd verse iz a lil’ weird. Plus, in mine, it doesn’t say tha “that you lost to cocaine” part in tha beginning. One of my most played Dance songs of 2008. That piano at tha end iz odd. I always think tha song iz goin’ on a lot longer, but it ain’t. MCD plays this more than MCE (MCE has SVD Radio Edit). 17. Nick Fiorucci Feat. Kelly Malbasa “The Night (Chriss Ortega Radio Edit)”

I forgot tha info on this one, but there’s another Kelly on this PO. I bet’cha she’s better! >>> Not bad start. Sounds like Nervous Records. Tha 2^nd verse sounded better. Gonna try and get used to this. :tu My Rating: 3.9

18. Tamia “Me (Soul Seekerz Radio Mix)”

Could’ve been tha 8^th song I known, but it ain’t (‘cause Party 105.3 just added it). Never heard it yet, so we’ll see how she gon make a comeback wit tha SS! >>> She really an R&B singer, but it looks like she has more success in tha Dance world (she signed to 2 labels I don’t even know what they are; they’re not tha usual R&B labels). Tha chorus iz pretty hot. Hot music and tha good ol’ Tamia wit those lyrics and vocals. :tu :tu I’m glad it’s already on one of my sources so I can play it right away! Real good shit right here. Yeah ya gotta choose yourself. No need to follow or dickride (a.k.a. cater to non-stop without caring for others) anyone; choose yourself first! My Rating: 4.4

19. Fragma “Toca’s Miracle (Inpetto UK Edit)”

I guess you can say 8^th song I know. Why iz this on here again… only it’s No. 19 instead of No. 18??? Are they tryin’ to “David Guetta” Fragma now wit tha UK/always on PO shit? This iz just falling off my playlist. *Deals wit it wit a sore-ass throat!* >>> Yeah totally David Guetta’d out. It sounds so fuckin’ off beat compared to tha other Inpetto Edit. Wow 12 seconds shorter… Ooh. I’d rather tha 12 seconds. Lol @ tha same ending beat! My Rating: N/A <- Sorry, I had to do that!

20. Ne-Yo “Closer (Radio Edit)”

9^th song I know. I guess I can deal wit tha “not Dance” song at tha end since Fragma’s pukeness had to be before it. Tha one who produced this iz by tha name of Stargate (he produced slow jammers like Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” and Chris Brown’s “With You” that have that same type of slow Pop/R&B beat, and also produced tha upbeat ones like Rihanna “Don’t Stop The Music”). This iz prolly a first for a PO… This song iz on PO…Urban Radio 5/08… PO… Mainstream Radio 5/08, and… PO… Dance Radio 5/08! Lol @ tha different genres for this song! Lemme review it. I might be nice, lol. PO should’ve put “Album Version” instead of “Radio Edit” since it’s not Dance. >>> I guess this iz fine for an ending song ‘cause I would know PO would throw an odd song at tha end if it’s not a mindblowin’ exclusive dance song. When I first heard tha BPMs in tha beginning, it caught me off guard unexpectically. I guess this iz good for everyone. Gotta feel tha music throughout tha chorus. I think I kinda hear enough of his vocals sometimes during tha chorus. He goes too long. My Rating: 3.5

Overall: End Time: 9:12 PM. Not too mindblowing. Just a few real good ones, some that were good, but not many. A bunch were decent.

Good thing it did, even tho tomorrow could’ve been a better day ‘cause that’s my “lucky” day (as on 3.26.2001 I bought a $2 scratch-off and won $200 on it). But let’s see watz good wit this. 01. Jenna Drey “All Out Of Love (Giuseppe D & Kevin Churko Radio Mix)”

Tryin’ not to have too much AL right at first, but definitely a High AL on this new one by Jenna Drey! It’s a cover to an Air Supply song of tha same name. >>> Okay I’m real glad tha 1^st verse got better and better by tha sound, but that chorus HAS IT GOIN’ ON!! YEAH!!!!! :tu :tu :tu :tu :tu Yes VERY GOOD and I guess by lowering my AL that it payed off. $$$$$ My Rating: 4.8

02. Mariah Carey “Touch My Body (Seamus Haji Radio Edit)”

Surprised that Jenna Drey beat out Mariah for tha No. 1 spot on this issue. I guess PO knows tha REAL dance. But on tha real, I really like this remix, and tha original I love. Love that “betta not catch this flick on YouTube, YouTube” <- :tu. On tha original, it has a cheesy vocal part, where it’s like “…flick on YouTube, ah YouTube.” Love that “throw me on tha bed!” Yeah Mariah, I’ll “throw you on tha bed!” :tu Too bad they cut out tha 2^nd verse and put tha bridge instead right away. Tha 2^nd verse was my favorite, but still a very good transition (they did tha same thing wit tha “Low (Discotech Edit)”. Givin’ props to SH for a GREAT mix!! :tu My Rating: 4.4

03. Britney Spears “Break The Ice (Kaskade Radio Edit)”

Heard a lil’ bit of it on MCD. Sounds like tha original iz more on it, so maybe Kaskade & Britney make a good combo again? >>> Cool they kept tha same intro, but they took out tha hot beat after tha intro part. Okay tha chorus iz not bad on this remix, but still, I hear bits and pieces of tha original, but why not tha hot beat? Yeah I enjoy this, but I don’t like that tha hot beat in tha original iz not in this most of tha time. My Rating: 3.8

04. David Guetta Feat. Tara McDonald “Delirious (Raido Edit)”

Good to see some new Guetta (PO you REALLY LOVE him don’t you, lol), and Tara McDonald on tha vocals can sound like a real good collabo! Hope so! >>> Okay I’m really feelin’ tha intro. Kinda slow tho, but still anticipating it! Not bad start. Gonna have to get used to it, but I do like that music. It sounds better, even tho it sounds like tha same format sometimes. A nice “batteries” part in tha 2^nd verse. :tu I gotta give this at least a 4.0 rating ‘cause this iz a lot better than tha bad Britney remix. My Rating: 4.1

05. Moby Feat. Shayna Steele “Disco Lies (Spencer & Hill Radio Edit)”

When I was readin’ tha info for this song (in backwerdz order), I was afraid it was gonna be a remix to “White Lies”. Lol @ tha title. What can I expect? Mysterious/confusing AL. >>> I didn’t expect that girl on tha vocals. I ain’t got no interest so far except for that music in tha verses. My Rating: 3.5

06. Natasha Bedingfield “Pocketful Of Sunshine (StoneBridge Radio Edit)”

Another MCD add. I think tha vocals are faster (which I really like). Really wanna hear tha remix!!! >>> Okay really like tha smooth music and those good speeded up vocals. :tu Yeah tha music iz BANGIN’ (of course it’s StoneBridge) for a smooth jam! :tu What’s wit that change at 2:47 in tha beginning? It threw me off a lil’… And tha vocals were different. They weren’t in that “exciting” mood. Not that good for me for tha ending. My Rating: 4.0

07. Veronica “The Way He Makes Me Feel (The Thrust Radio Mix)”

Who’s The Thrust? That ain’t Narcotic Thrust right? I don’t think it iz ‘cause of tha different labels. Narcotic Thrust usually release through Yoshitoshi, and this iz from Nervous. Anyway, I must say this: this iz tha first EVER review that has to do wit Autism! That’s right! Veronica has a son that’s Autistic. OMG DEFINITELY have tha High AL for this! She’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!! >>> I like tha fastish intro. REAL BANGIN’ music throughout tha chorus! Nice club song IMO. Feelin’ it. :tu REAL GOOD JOB Veronica! Go girl!!! Speaking of Autism, I think today, a teacher near my area got 18 months probation for hittin’ an Autistic student. What a bitch!!!! My Rating: 4.5

08. Lucas Prata Feat. Jeannie Ortega “A Girl Like That (Giuseppe D Radio Edit)”

Okay time for me to give you some background info on Ms. Jeannie: She emerged on tha music scene in 2006 wit her single “Crowded” featuring rapper Papoose. Both Papoose and Jeannie represent Brooklyn, NY, and tha song was a pop hit. Now I’m glad she’s back, and wit Lucas Prata! How good! A New York collabo here, so lemme finally hear tha whole damn thang!! >>> I always like that Giuseppe D sound at all times. He knows how to make a good beat. :tu Of course I like it, but mainly tha music (especially). Definitely a nice collabo. Gotta give Jeannie props. My Rating: 4.1

09. Chris “The Greek” Panaghi Feat. Amber Dirks “My Life (Josh Harris Radio Edit)”

Look at this combo. It’s like a nice combo @ McDonalds, lol. Anyway, looks like Chris didn’t release this on Amathus (which most of his productions come from there). Got a High AL. Expectin’ a good song from this!!! >>> This doesn’t have a vocalist on tha ID, but I BET YOU ANYTHING this iz Amber Dirks (tha vocalist on tha Power 2 Move song “All Through The Night”). Those vocals sound familiar + tha Amathus Music reminder of C”TG”P, so I’m sure I’m right. I will make a check tho right before I post this review online. Anyway, I’m feelin’ it. Nice and relaxing. My Rating: 4.0

10. Robyn “Handle Me (Soul Seekerz Radio Edit)”

For a SS beat, I thought this was boring at first (tha music) and average, but now it’s gettin’ some exposure out there, and I like this a lot more! Robyn iz a SEXY BEAST! :tu Yeah definitely feelin’ tha lyrics. This was an import a while back (according to Perfect Beat). Wow this CD iz like 10 million times better than last year’s PATHETIC-“BLEH”ING April 2007 CD. Gotta LOVE IT NOW! Whatever she’s saying in tha beginning/end “somethin’ somethin’ to somethin’…” I love. My Current Rating: 4.4

11. Donna Summer “I’m A Fire (Solitaire Radio Edit)”

Forgot this was on here! Definitely a High AL! Comebacks baby!!! >>> Lol @ how she said “heeeeeeeeeeeeeat.” :rofl Sorry, but I think I gotta get used to these Solitaire beats. I started to like tha Mick Jagger “Charmed Life”, but this gon take time prolly. I betcha there’s a better mix to this too. Sounds better towards tha end (which Solitaire did no less in “Charmed Life” remix). Okay I like it better. My Rating: 3.7

½time: What a VERY GOOD start so far!! I have a feeling tha 1^st ½ was better, but who knows… No. 12 song, here I come!!!!!

12. Marina “Searching For You (Mike Rizzo Global Radio Edit)”

Okay tha moment I’ve been waiting for. My, statistically, Highest AL! A VERY HIGH AL!!!!!!!!! This gon be HOT NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!! >>> Oh yeah same label as Sharon T (NY2London). Glad to see Mike Rizzo again!! I like it. Can’t complain. Great vocals and nice smooth music. :tu My Rating: 4.5

13. Velvet “Fix Me (Radio Edit)”

I’m not gonna say a thing at all. Just that this iz 1 of 3 new Robbins songs (Jenna Drey was tha 1^st one). >>> Tried not to say anything ‘cause I didn’t wanna think of tha vocals. Good thing it’s a girl. Lyrics sound familiar. It has a nice Euro taste to it. That’s watz good. :tu Yeah “super strong as fire.” :tu Feelin’ it! Nice song right after No. 12! My Rating: 4.4

14. Jordin Sparks with Chris Brown “No Air (Benassi Radio Edit)”

Benassi on tha beat… But not ONE bit of AL for me! Find out why after I hear this! >>> Lol @ that fastness/weird beat intro in tha beginning. :rofl What’s wit tha no verse? Lol. It sounds just like tha “Bring The Noise” remix he did. Oh now it’s tha chorus with some of tha music in tha original. I absoultely loved tha original, and lol @ those ending chrous vocals outta nowhere. See a dance song should’ve been remixed like this, not no hit mixer, lol. And what tha hell am I supposed to rate this? Lol I’m so confused… And what I was meaning to say right before I pressed play: I have tha Future Presidents Remix and I finna listen to it right now and PROVE it’s SO MUCH better!! *Listens* This iz tha mix I’m playing!! Been playing it for 11 dayz now!! Love that Cascada type of beat!! Nobody’s gonna play this mix ‘cause it’s 5:00 flat. It’s SO much more radio friendly than this PO mix. Maybe some smooth/slow trance since it’s 132 BPM? Gonna resist my AL right now ‘til I hear it! >>> Sounds like MCE music in tha beginning (like Fisherspooner). I like it. I can feel tha trance and tha vocals on this. Thumbs up. Yeah really lookin’ forward to tha music after tha chorus! Real tight! :tu Oh yeah that slow music reminds me of “Anthem”. I don’t really like when they do that wit tha slow music thing. “Anthem” blew it for that. My Rating: 4.2

16. Paula Abdul “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow (Oakenfold Radio Edit)”

I took Randy Jackson outta tha ID. That’s like for commercial purposes only. If you’re IN tha song, you should be IN tha ID! If you’re not, you’re not! I think I’m goin’ to like tha original version over this, but we’ll see… >>> Good for those nice sounds of tha ending of tha original in tha beginning to this. :tu Good job Paula Abdul for coming back after 12 years! Her attitude in this song iz like my attitude at college currently: I feel like I evolved since tha 3^rd semester, and I did! Okay this iz a much better hit mixer than some of tha other shit that was remixed on here. My Rating: 4.3

Love tha vocals ‘cause he uses tha thing singer T-Pain uses: tha auto-tune effect. A great music video too. LOVE that “I’m gonna take my time…” and then tha cool Wideboys effect. :tu Can’t say much ‘cause I’ve known tha original since November, and this mix since last month. My Current Rating: 4.4

Tha 3^rd Robbins song. I didn’t wanna have a High AL at first, but I can’t help it. Gotta hear it!! >>> When I first saw this on PO (its info), I thought it was gonna be Kim Leoni “Medicine”. Oh you better believe I “say a prayer” before I go to sleep every night before I go to college. It ALWAYS works too! I fuckin’ love my college life (especially this semester), and my click (my boyz Jewison, Juice & Rosco). They tha shit, and tha coolest people to hang out wit. :tu Great vocals and real nice 133 BPM music in this! :tu I don’t know which Robbins song iz better… this or “Fix Me”. Gotta give it tha same rating. Gonna be hard to decide. My Rating: 4.4

I saw that this was on my boy Al’s August 2007 CD. Lol @ that again. Last one was “Zombie” and now this. I feel a VERY HIGH AL for some reason, but I should calm down a lil’. I gotta rehear it since it has been since September 4, 2007 (when I heard it on his player). >>> Shit, a VERY GOOD intro part (of course). Good shit of course!! Tha whole song iz BANGIN’!! Real good once again! Can’t say it enough! My Rating: 4.7

20. Michael Jackson w/Akon “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ 2008 (Johnny Vicious Radio Mix)”

PO just needed more hit mixers. This was statistically my Highest AL, but I have no AL, lol. …Well maybe a lil’. >>> Howard Jones had a BANGIN’/CRAZY dance track in 2005 that nobody played. I’ll post that song after I review this. This sounds like tha late night trance. Good for right now since it’s 11:09 PM. Wow this iz so much smoother than that other song. That other song’s beats are too fuckin’ insane! Gotta feel this one. Like tha vocals & tha music. :tu My Rating: 4.1

22. Karen Young “HOT SHOT-The Karen Young Reheat (MaxRoxx Radio Edit)”

Yes a No. 22 song. I expect female vocals and a kick-ass type of song (a song that kicks ass also)! Lol @ tha doubles: Karen Young iz tha artist & in tha song title, and MaxRoxx iz in tha mix and tha label. >>> Okay MaxRoxx wins for producing. He gets tha thumbs up. Okay tha vocals are not “kick-ass” type. They’re more old schoolish to me. Tha music gets tha plus for me at times. Wow those vocals can get weird at times but I gotta feel it. I try my best to not say anything negative about anything. I do can’t wait to play these songs if they get out there. Tha only problem iz they’re not gonna have much college time wit me ‘cause if I pick them for May, I’m graduating in like tha week after… Oh wait never mind. I’ll be in Florida April 30^th ‘til May 11^th, so there’s no way it’ll get college play wit me. :( Hopefully tha “HOT” ass weather will give it spins! My Rating: 4.0

Watz good it’s Frankie, and you’re not gonna believe this: This iz Review No. 26 for me this month. Why so many reviews? It’s Black History Month, and I felt like doing a CD/mixtape review EVERY SINGLE DAY this month (in honor of it). Ain’t I nuts, lol? Anyway, DEFINITELY ANTICIPATING THIS Promo Only right now ‘cause of not just it, but also from tha VERY GOOD day I had at college. I now hang out wit a new click, so new/better thingz have been happenin’. My new click iz this dude Jewison (who I mainly hang out wit), his boy Juice (who iz next-door roommates wit him and in my World History class), and my boy Rosco (who iz roommates wit Jewison’s boy). Today I hung mainly wit Jewison for about 2 hours, and it was some great shit (even tho we planned to go to tha mall for some shit, but didn’t have enough time – Hope it happens later this week tho)!! Here goes my review right now for tha Promo Only Dance Radio March 2008 CD!! Start Time: 10:04 PM | Video Game Playing: Super Mario RPG (for Super Nintendo) (on my computer)

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Janet “Feedback (Wideboys Radio Edit)”

Her 10^th album just hit stores today, so it was a big day for her today. This iz a pretty good mix, even tho tha music iz kinda plain. I really like tha part right after tha 2^nd chorus (1:50) where it has tha intro to tha original speeded up. :tu From 1:58-2:12 where she sounds like she’s rappin’, it’s REAL TIGHT! “Flyer than a pelican…” :tu :tu HOT!! Oh yeah, and I just gave “feedback”. :wink: My Current Rating: 4.1

02. Ercola & Heikki L Feat. Jeremy Carr “Deep At Night (Adam K & Soha Radio Edit)”
Tha ID looks tight, so High AL No. 1! >>> Didn’t expect that quiet intro. Hopefully now I expect tha sexy vocals. Oh neva mind about tha vocals. I thought it was a girl on tha vocals. This has a lot of music on it, so this must be some vocal trance. 8) This iz different for Nervous Records to sign IMO. Yeah I love that there’s so much music in it. Nice and relaxing. This izn’t tha type of song I’d see at tha No. 2 slot on a Promo Only tho. My Rating: 3.8

03. Ian Carey Feat. Michelle Shellers “Keep On Rising (Radio Mix)”

Yeah I must be real excited from tha day today ‘cause I wanna hear all these new songs I neva heard before!! High AL No. 2!! >>> Sounds a lil’ odd, and I didn’t expect that music. Ian Carey remixed tha “City Life” song 2 years ago by Fallen Angels, and that had a lot better beat. This iz still decent tho. Decent vocals & music. It might take time for me to like more. My Rating: 3.6

04. Jesse McCartney “Leavin’ (Bimbo Jones Radio Edit)”

Oh no a “FTLD No Sign” should be put here, lol. He comes back, but why first on a dance CD? And what’s wit these fast BPMs on hit mixers? They NEED to be on tha DANCE songs!! Low AL… :oops: >>> I don’t hear 133 BPM. I hear tha usual Bimbo Jones feel (128). Just as I expected, I’m not really interested, even tho I can go wit that music. Why couldn’t they use this music for another hit mixer? Don’t waste it on this… Lol @ tha “she gon be singin’ ‘uh oh…’.” My Rating: 2.6

05. Kat DeLuna “Run The Show (Johnny Vicious Radio Mix)”

Been slowly losing my AL for this ‘cause Music Choice Dance iz playing this 14 FUCKING TIMES MORE than tha other adds they added last week. :( >>> Forget that chorus ‘cause it sounds plain. This has good music, and ya gotta give it up for Kat DeLuna ‘cause I think she got another pretty good dance produced remix on her hands. :tu Really good produced HM, and I didn’t expect to like it as I do. My Rating: 3.7

06. Samantha Cole “Angel Of Mine (Radio Edit)”

Her last remake “Obsession” (2005) was real bad. She now put this one out on Dauman Music, but it’s real slow on tha BPM. I hope it’s good ‘cause it looks like a remake of Monica’s song from tha late ‘90s “Angel Of Mine”. No AL. >>> OMG it’s so slow. I was correct on tha remake/cover guess. Sorta plain on tha music, but not bad. Sounds pretty good tho, and better than that 2005 remake! I think it’s gonna do good wit me tho whether it’s spins or my Top 10 Countdown. Startin’ to feel it more as it ends. :tu My Rating: 4.0

07. Alex Young “Cold (Radio Edit)”

Okay there’s a male here, and it’s VERY “cold” outside these dayz. When I was gonna go to tha mall wit Jewison today, I didn’t think it was that cold out. It just snowed like a ma’fucka. :( >>> Oh fuckin’ yes it’s a gurl! Likin’ that beat! :tu BANGIN’! Sounds different from some of tha other shit out now. “Sippin’ on hot chocolate” <- Yeah! :tu :) Sounds good. No wonder, I talked about my boy Jewison in tha preview to this joint. Hot shit! Hope it does its thang in tha future. If it doesn’t, you know who gon make it BIG: ME! My Rating: 4.6

08. JJ Flores & Steve Smooth Feat. Luvli “Being In Love (Radio Edit)”

I don’t wanna say anything but this: :rofl :rofl :rofl. >>> Sounds different from “Dancin’”. I only wanted to “ :rofl ” ‘cause of “Dancin’”. It’s pretty good. I can’t say anything bad about this song. Pretty good music wit those good vocals. :tu My Rating: 3.9

09. Leona Lewis “Bleeding Love (Moto Blanco Radio Edit)”

She gets good reviews (I think she was on American Idol or somethin’) so let’s see what’s up. >>> Moto Blanco wit these “not bad” beats. It sounds more discoish to me in tha music, but it sounds pretty good. Not bad. Yeah good lyrics too. My Rating: 3.7

½time: I think I have a lot of AL for No. 10! But yeah, pretty good start wit it bein’ like ¼ real good, ¼ unexpectically good, and 2/4 decent/below decent.

10. Fans Of Jimmy Century “Hot Sahara (Lenny B Radio Mix)”

First off, I feel like I just pissed in my pants ‘cause of how anticipating it looks. Second, its got “Jimmy” in tha artist’s name (which Jimmy The DJ iz someone I have a connection wit in Louisiana), and that FUCKIN’ HOT-ASS title & Lenny B on tha mix! I think this iz my HIGHEST AL (not statistically), but I’m not sure what’s left, but anyway, VERY VERY HIGH AL!!!!!!! >>> Oh now I feel like I just shitted in my pants by hearin’ FEMALE vocals!! :tu Yeah bangin’ music WITHOUT that certain Lenny B sound in tha chorus. :tu This iz FUCKIN’ HOT and I know it. If nobody plays, I’m gonna start airing April, and I’m goin’ to Florida April 30^th, so this gon be a HOT one wit that HOT-ASS weather! “Heatin’ up tha jungle” <- Wow hot lyrics throughout tha whole song! :tu My Rating: 4.9

11. The Young Punx! “You’ve Got To (Norman Cook Radio Mix)”

I see Ultra Records wanted to go faster than “Now You’re Gone”… by 16 more BPMs! Highest BPM for a dance song on PO (164). Due to that, it’s statistically my Highest AL (even tho No. 10 was my personal Highest AL). I have a very High AL and expecting techno. If it’s drum ‘n’ bass or trance, I will fuckin’ fly in tha clouds, lmfao!!! >>> OMG great, and I think its got a lil’ drum ‘n’ bass style mixed wit techno! :tu Yes!! :tu This iz so fuckin’ great (in a different way). It iz cracking me up just ‘cause it sounds so different. :rofl I dunno but I just fuckin’ love this along wit tha day today! I think THIS DAY iz makin’ me all in this good mood! :tu My Rating: 4.7

12. Miley Cyrus “See You Again (Johnny Coppola Radio Edit)”

I’m glad that I like tha original and that tha original has nice dance elements in it. I’m HOPING this does too, and not many elements of tha original! High AL! >>> Okay music iz kinda plain fast of type. Tha chorus music sounds good, and they changed up that beat at tha end of tha chorus/right before tha 2^nd verse. Feelin’ it. Great HM, and I hope it gets out there! My Rating: 4.1

Intermission: Okay No. 11 I’m still LMFAO at it ‘cause that was some FUNNY-ASS shit! Put me in a REAL good mood, but when it ended, I feel all hot and kinda startin’ to feel odd… :(

13. Kristine W “The Boss (Love To Infinity Radio Edit)”

Another VERY HIGH AL!! LTI had a VERY good produced song by Simply Red “Sunrise” (Fall 2003), so that’s why I’m wanting to hear this and tha lovely Kristine W!!! >>> Oh yeah Kristine W doin’ her own thing as she releases this song on her own label, Fly Again Music. :tu Feelin’ tha fresh sound to this and those background vocals on tha chorus sounded odd (I’m kinda fishy about background vocals that sound like gospel people). Other than that, this iz good shit. :tu That music reminds me of somethin’ that was from back in tha day that sounded real good. My Rating: 4.2

14. Attorney Client Privilege Feat. DBL “Nonsense Words (House Music Is Not About) (Radio Edit)”

Here comes some more *UNSIGNED HYPE*. Tha label on PO says “DanceMusicLabel.Com”. I finna go to that website right now. *Goes…* Ahhh… It looks like it’s a part of Rod Carrillo’s label, Carrillo Music (remember “Arizona Bump”). :lol: And even on tha MS page they have listed, “AB” iz on there! :rofl Anyway, High AL. I wanna hear this! >>> Just like wit “AB”, it’s weird, lol. I like that plain music tho. Either way, this iz a lot better than Rod Carrillo’s song on last year’s March ’07 CD (wit Georgia Nicole & Amador “Spotlight”). Good vocals and I love that plain repetitive music. :tu My Rating: 4.2

15. Cezar “Keep On Trying (Spencer & Hill Radio Edit)”

What’s this? >>> Didn’t expect tha male vocals, but I have a feeling I’m goin’ to like this. :tu Cool music and different sound. Good thing this song iz mainly about motivation. :tu Gotta motivate yourself! :tu My Rating: 4.1

16. Andrew Spencer & The Vamprockerz “Zombie (2-4 Grooves Remix Edit)”
Got a confusing High AL (lol) for this one. This iz signed to CAPP Records (responsible for Rob Mayth “Barbie Girl” but also Drea “Free”). This already got added to iPR (and labels like this usually don’t go anywhere), so I dunno if I’m gonna like this or be anticipated that much… BUT FUCK IT, IT’S NO. 16!! I’M ALWAYS ANTICIPATED FOR NO. 16!!! >>> OMG a gurl again! I thought this was gonna be a rock/guy song! :rofl How weird wit that rockish beat. This made iPR? I would’ve NEVA guessed if I heard this before hand. :rofl Sounds pretty good (of course)! It’s 34 degrees out and I only have an undershirt on. It cured my odd feeling from before (along wit these BANGERZ)! :tu My Rating: 4.0

17. Sarah Atereth “It Doesn’t Take Much (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

It’s such a GREAT SONG! I’m SO GLAD Music Choice Dance plays tha Salosso Radio Edit from tha November 2007 Promo Only Dance Radio edition! High AL on this remix!! >>> At least you can hear tha vocals better in this version. I’m likin’ that quiet music by Dave Audé. :tu Shit, this iz a great remix. This edition of Promo Only has been VERY CONSISTENT! :tu My Rating: 4.3

18. David Guetta Feat. Chris Willis “Love Is Gone (Mike D Remix Radio)”

Who iz Mike D? VERY LOW AL!! >>> What a MA’FUCKIN’ way to DESTROY tha consistentness. This even sounds a lil’ better than tha one that was on tha November ’07 CD ‘cause of tha “very lil’” added effects. But still, this was EXTREMELY NOT NECESSARY. Oh and because this iz on here and was on tha last one, what am I expecting to see a “Goodnight Tonight” type of song as tha last song? Lol… My Rating: N/A <- Yeah it’s NOT FAIR to give it a rating IMO. Tha other version I gave 4.2.

19. Wibby White “Never Too Much (Radio Version)”
What could this be? It better be female vocals since it’s like 122 BPM. Very slow song at tha end… Tha “Radio Version” in tha mix tells me it’s gonna be a Pop song. If not, maybe an Electronica song. Curious AL! >>> OMG male vocals… And I’m scared! :oops: :oops: Tha quality sounds a lil’ fucked up (luckily) unlike tha other songs. Lol @ “I go to work to HUSTLE!” When that dude says “neva too much,” it sounds like an old song. This izn’t SO bad for me at least. My Rating: 3.4

Overall: End Time: 12:08 AM. That was some GOOD shit from this CD! Loved so many songs! I’m currently in a “phase change”, so I think that also added elements to this GREAT CD! I’m back to LOVIN’ it at my college and it looks like this CD just made things better! I can’t wait ‘til I go to college EVERY SINGLE DAY for this whole semester to hang out wit my click!!
