It’s FrankieThaLuckyDog and damn, look how behind I am wit reviewin’ this!! It was a whole month ago I did my previous review and now, I’m finally back! It goes ta show you how college can EAT UP your time!! Damn… But, I’m now free on this Sunday so here it goes! Here goes my review for Promo Only: Dance Radio March 2010! BTW, Tuesday, tha 16^th, I gon be LIVE ON MY TV STATION UP HERE IN NORTHEAST PA!!!!! I do a two minute segment for my college’s local news. Everybody LUVS how I make tha video for it (instead of staring at tha camera for two minutes straight) and there’s a shit load of creativity in it! I don’t got any of my clips I made on YT yet but I’m not sure when I’m gonna put one up… Start Time: 6:38 PM | End Time: 9:04 PM

1. I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating.

01. Adam Lambert “Whataya Want From Me (Fonzerelli Electro House Radio Mix)”

Not sure if this iz a gay guy? He had a Dance-Pop vibed song before this one and it sounded better. I wonder what made everyone go crazy ova this? Lemme hear if Fonzerelli did a good mix to this… >>> LOL… Sounds a lil’ good for a start. All tha title parts make me laugh how they’re random. Pretty good beat here; wouldn’t’ve expected better for a beat like this for this song. Good job for a start here wit a HM like this. My Rating: 3.7

02. Ludacris Feat. Shawnna “How Low (DJ Frank E Clean Short Mix)”

LOL @ MCD gettin’ this. For a chipmunk in tha song, it should be more funny if that’s tha case. This one doesn’t have dat much humor to it although tha beat iz pretty good. I’m not that inta this song here as it’s like a Pop Rap song so I don’t really have much ta say about this. LOL @ it bein’ Dance remixed. My Current Rating: 3.3

03. Jes “Lovesong”

Tha fastest song on this CD (135 BPM); what’ll it bring for a comeback? >>> I like tha start here wit tha cool Electronic Dance soundin’. DEFINITELY a hot one here!! She makes each and every “song” sound GR8 and tha beat DEFINITELY iz workin’ here!! Shout out to her producers that she picks!! Damn, talk about it bein’ SO long since I looked at tha tracklisting and tha facts about tha songs! This iz a remake of an old song (I remember readin’ dat somewhere) and I totally forgot ‘til I heard tha chorus. I DEFINITELY think it’s hot though so thumbs up!! My Rating: 4.5

04. Steve Aoki Feat. [[[Zuper Blahq]]] “I’m In The House (LP Radio Edit)”

What do we got here? A content warning and a 133 BPM song? I have a high AL but who knows, wit an LP Radio Edit, dat could sound more original than Dance? Let’s see… >>> I knew this was gonna be a lil’ weird for a start. I can’t even picture there bein’ 133 on a song like this… LOL, this iz like Rap vs. weird Dance but now dat I’m hearin’ tha rhymes, I’m REALLY feelin’ this in a way! Sounds like it’ll be a REAL GR8 playlist song for me! Likin’ tha beat here; luvin’ tha originalness!! Tha 1^st verse DEFINITELY iz somethin’ I like for rappin’! Tha 2^nd verse not bad but I liked tha 1^st one betta. My Rating: 4.3

05. The Temper Trap “Sweet Disposition (Axwell & Dirty South Radio Edit)”

This iz REAL HOT right here!!! I saw PFM add it and I YT’d it before I heard this mix. I automatically didn’t IC it at all. But, I heard it on tha mixshows on MCD so many times and didn’t realize it was this song. I know this iz one of tha artists my college plays (‘cause they have a magazine layin’ out wit them on tha front cover) but it looks like this iz more of a Dance anthem. VERY HOT beat from DS and GR8 vocals ta contribute ta this!! My Current Rating: 4.7

06. Darude “In The Darkness (Tech Edit)”

I expect REAL GOOD wit this one!! >>> Ooh, female vocals this time!! And it’s DEFINITELY HOT!!! Talk about a REAL HOT CD so far minus tha 1^st two songs!!! GR8 job wit tha lyrics too!! FIRE HOT HERE!!! Go Robbins!!! It felt real short but you KNOW it’s tha shit to tha fullest!! VERY HOT vocals + VERY HOT beat + HOT lyrics = VERY HOT SONG!!! My Rating: 4.6

07. Kat DeLuna Feat. Akon “Push Push”

Betta be good for a no mix!! >>> Sounds like a sample in tha beat here? Can’t think of what it could be… Not bad on tha chorus; at least she’s puttin’ some Dance in her style to show luv. Will this be a Dance-only song like “Dance Bailalo”? Not bad for a song… My Rating: 3.8

08. Alphabeat “Hole In My Heart (Wideboys Stadium Radio Edit Remix)”

It says Unsigned on tha label here… That gives me AL and so does Wideboys! iPR has tha original version of this song so now, lemme FINALLY hear it!! >>> Not sure of how tha vocals are soundin’ here… Almost reminds me of ‘80s. Oh wait, here comes a female! ;) She’s got a ‘90s twist on her voice! Nice job from tha WB’s on tha mix! Not bad for tha song so far… Pretty good on tha chorus a lil’ bit… I liked how tha bridge sounded on this. Nice lil’ song here; thumbs up. My Rating: 4.0

09. Morgan Page Feat. Lissie “Strange Condition (Inpetto Radio Edit)”
MCD’s too busy “fighting” wit dat other song (and they even got anotha one in late night rotation) while they added this song too (only saw it once). As always for him, I usually expect a decent Dance song; let’s see what we got. >>> MCD’s gay wit their labelin’ now as they don’t even list tha mix they have. I hear Lissie’s on tha vocals again here; they make a good team! Tha start iz pretty good. She sounds pretty hot here; good Dance song. I like this one right here; thumbs up on all tha HOT mixin’! My Rating: 4.1

10. Matisse “Better Than Her (DiscoTech Radio Edit)”

Looks like it gon be a gurl based off tha title! I HOPE so ‘cause I got my AL up fa this one!! >>> Not bad start here; glad it’s a gurl. Sounds like a Pop song remixed. I thought this was gonna be a lil’ “better” but it’s still pretty good based off of how it sounds. Not bad on tha verses too; a lil’ bit of ear-catchers. My Rating: 3.8

11. School Gyrls “Something Like A Party (Chew Fu Radio Edit)”

DAMN!! This song too?!? :tu I didn’t even know what tha hell it was when I saw tha tracklisting. Then, it was added on MCH (original version), which it sounded like a Dance-Pop song. Now, MCD plays it often and I just think it’s real catchy!! Hot lil’ gurls here doin’ it wit Chew Fu on tha mix! Didn’t like tha “Russian Roulette” mix they did but after tha “Sunrise” song from tha last CD, I’m DEFINITELY feelin’ them!! Thought it was Dave Audé on tha mix at 1^st? LOL… My Current Rating: 4.4

½time: DEFINITELY thinkin’ this CD iz REAL HOT so far!!! I guess delayin’ it makes tha anticipation RISE!!! Luv a SHIT LOAD of tha songs on here already!!! Tha average CD rating iz 4.1; I expect it to stay dat way!!!

12. Passion Pit “Little Secrets (Felix Da Housecat Radio Edit)”

Didn’t like “The Reeling” at first. Then, after like four months, I started likin’ it due to MCD beastin’ it (which they still do). Hope they replace it wit this although this iz a MCE remixer… How Dance (or Electronica) will it be? >>> This iz more MCE here wit tha way it sounds. My college plays this band and it sounds like it would fit them; I do like this sound though. Sounds nice and consistent wit a different style! My Rating: 4.3

13. Edward Maya & Vika Jigulina “Stereo Love”

A VERY, VERY HOT ONE HERE!!!! A MCD HOT song!!! >>> I thought this was tha same mix as MCD but then again, no labelin’ their mix! :td Tha collaboration iz REAL, REAL HOT here!!! It’s a REAL HOT duet and tha vocals are REAL, REAL TIGHT!!!!! Tha gurl sounds like Sun wit tha way she sounds! :) MCD’s mix iz faster than this… Should be HUGE wit me!!!!! Tha sound in tha beat iz like tha sound for In-Grid’s songs; REAL, REAL HOT!!! Gonna look up tha mix dat MCD plays and find it ASAP!! I’m still turned on by this watered-down version though, lol. Good job from Ultra on tha signin’!! My Rating: 4.7

14. Sylvia Tosun vs. Noferini & Marini “Push N Pull (Trevor Simpson & Jared-F Radio Edit)”

There are a WHOPPIN’ three SeaToSun Recordings songs on here; that’s watz up!! This iz tha 1^st one; you KNOW I got buku luv fa Sylvia!!! >>> Tha hot vocals startin’ it off here wit an okay beat start! Hot start wit tha vocals and then, it sounds like a conversation from a plane or somethin’ wit tha guy, lol. REALLY likin’ tha vocals although it sounds like this iz a different soundin’ song. Not bad but thumbs up to those verses!! My Rating: 4.2

15. Ciara Corr “Get My Way”

What iz this? >>> Sounds hot for a start! DEFINITELY hot for tha production here and she’s soundin’ good on this shit! Catchy song and tha verses are good; thumbs up to this gurl! She’s a HOT “maggot for trouble!” Not much else ta say but good job! This CD DEFINITELY iz comin’ through wit some REAL, REAL HOTNESS!!! My Rating: 4.1

16. Example “Won’t Go Quietly (E.P.I.C. Radio Edit)”

:rofl !! Anotha MCD song I didn’t expect ta be on here!! I thought I heard it at first and then again, I wasn’t sure exactly what it was like. I kept confusin’ it wit MCE ‘cause they added tha song too (but I think a different mix). Lemme see… >>> Yea, I rememba tha rappin’ sound a lil’ bit. Sounds like rappin’ but I don’t think it iz; still a catchy song though. MCD pretty good wit addin’ these songs! Tha chorus sounds short but it sounds hot wit tha music! My Rating: 3.9

17. Shontelle “Licky (Under The Covers)”

This iz tha BIG flop for me on here! :td And what’s worse iz in this case, it’s not even DvD; it’s Pop RIPPIN’ off Dance/Electronica!! Not only dat, tha BPM of 126 ALSO was stolen!! I’m talkin’ ‘bout Larry Tee Feat. Princess Superstar “Licky” (from 11/08 PO); this song ripped that song off!! I know this ain’t anything for me on here ‘cause she’s got a new slow song out now. But, whateva, let’s see what review it gets! >>> Well, I don’t like tha stealin’ but tha song sounds a lil’ on tha catchy/hot side. Oh yea, one thing it DIDN’T steal was tha content warning! Tha other version had a content warning while this one doesn’t. Tha lyrics sound tasty on this one. LOL @ my “thought of flop;” I’m turned on instead! ;) My Current Rating: 3.8

18. Julissa Veloz “Take Control (Sted-E & Hybrid Heights Radio Mix)”

I think this was tha 2^nd SeaToSun song… *Checks* Nope, Carrillo Music!! No WONDER tha HOTNESS on tha ID!!! I have a HIGH AL for this one and I KNOW it’ll be GR8!! >>> Not bad for tha start here; puttin’ my focus to tha test. Almost sounded borderline in tha beginning here wit tha chorus. Not bad for a song here but you KNOW I luv tha new music!! Pretty good job and keep up tha good work to all y’all at Carrillo Music! My Rating: 3.8

19. Loverush UK! Feat. Carla Werner “Give Me Your Love (Matt Lange Radio Edit)”

Now it’s more noticeable wit tha SeaToSun song; this iz tha 2^nd one! …Whataya think? I feel REAL excited for this one!! You KNOW if it’s SeaToSun, it’s OFFICIAL!! >>> Follow up to “Fountains Of Youth”!! Prolly would’ve had more goin’ on wit tha music here but tha vocals DEFINITELY are on tha hot/sweet tip!! This would be a HOT Vocal Trance song if it was faster! Not bad of a song though; DEFINITELY passes tha average tip! My Rating: 3.8

20. Late Night Alumni “Finally Found”

MCD (and tha mixshows) got some catchy repetitive song called “You Can Be The One”; I thought that was on here. Did MCD or MCE pick this one up too? I don’t remember but I thought I saw it somewhere… >>> Sounds a lil’ sweet on tha start here. Sounds like a different kinda Dance but on a hot side! Sounds like it has potential on my college station’s format? That would be a good look! Nice lil’ song here; hope it also gets out there! My Rating: 3.9

21. Ron Reeser & Dan Saenz Feat. Jennifer Karr “Into You”

PO already got this one quickly! That’s a thumbs up!! Let’s see tha follow-up to “Everything”!! >>> Sounds anticipatin’ for a start; feelin’ these vocals!! This iz pretty good and different from “Everything”; tha chorus iz pretty good too! I like how tha title sounds and this lady just doin’ her thang on this song! I thought tha song would be longer but it was good fa what it was! My Rating: 4.0

22. Freedom Williams “Party Time (Get Up, Get Down) (Sted-E & Hybrid Heights Radio Edit)”

I rememba this bein’ tha 3^rd SeaToSun song… Kinda feels weird to know that it iz. I guess we gon get our “Everybody Dance Now” C&C Factory on wit this; how will it end this REAL HOT PO off?? >>> Almost sounds like Timbaland in tha background and tha beat sounds like it samples Sunfreakz Feat. Andrea Britton “Counting Down The Days (Axwell Edit)” in tha beat, which iz good. I like how this sounds and even down ta him rappin’/appearin’ on here, it sounds like tha old dayz. Tha 2^nd verse even sounded pretty good fa this. My Rating: 3.9

Overall: Well, I’m DEFINITELY impressed of tha PO this time!! Only tha 1^st two songs were ehh (well, mainly just tha Ludacris/Shawnna one) but tha rest of them at least were above average for me! LUVIN’ ALL THA NEW SONGS FOR THA SPRING!!! A lot of tha songs DEFINITELY gon be REAL BIG wit me (#3, 4, 5, 6, 11 & 13 mainly for now) and tha other ones that I thought were okay on FL prolly gon turn out ta be playlist songs wit me!

01. AnnaGrace “Love Keeps Calling (Radio Mix)”

This iz gr8! I feel addicted to it at times, ya dig! Originally, I thought it was just a typical mainstream Dance song by how it was. But, it just seems betta than that. I don’t know why PO put a “content warning” on it; don’t hear anything dirty… Tha beat iz REAL hot (once again) and you KNOW how AG does it wit tha songs! My Current Rating: 4.3

02. Selena Gomez & The Scene “Naturally (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

Only Song #2 but I feel that THIS IZ HUGE!!! It HAS ta be tha HIGHEST rated song on this CD for me!! I IC’d it within 10 seconds of listening to it thanx to tha HOT beat and tha HOT vocals too!! It’s a HM (signed to Hollywood Records [Miley Cyrus label]) and she’s only 17 but it sounds like a Dance song to me; gotta luv it!! Tha lyrics sound gr8 and tha chorus iz DEFINITELY hot; you KNOW it’s somethin’ when there’s elements (“lightning”) in a song!! REAL GR8 job, DA, for tha beat!! My Current Rating: 4.8

03. Alex Sayz Feat. Evi “Hate To Love (Original Radio Edit)”

All these songs DEFINITELY had a HOT 2^nd ½ of January wit me so far!! This iz DEFINITELY anotha good mainstream Dance song; deserves more recognition! I hope MCD FINALLY kills “SOM” and replaces it wit this song!! I heard dat Evi left Lasgo? Iz that true? I think she’s doin’ her own thing now… Cool beat (especially before tha chorus) and Evi makes tha lyrics come to life!! My Current Rating: 3.9

04. Taio Cruz Feat. Ludacris “Break Your Heart (Wideboys Radio Edit)”

I heard tha original on MCM (Music Choice Mixtape) and it was good for an original but I didn’t IC it. Maybe this mix’ll do? >>> A lil’ dry on tha start; hope tha beat and err-thang picks up. It sounds pretty good before tha chorus so thumbs up. Tha chorus also sounds pretty good too wit tha WB beat. Although I like this as a mix a lil’, I kinda think it’s just okay. I don’t think it’ll be that big of a playlist song for me if it gets released or whateva. Ludacris sounded good for this (as it was tha remix that had him originally). My Rating: 3.6

05. Kim Sozzi “Secret Love (Stellar Project Radio Edit)”

SMH @ them not listin’ tha mix. :td I look at tha stats (3:05 and 128 BPM) and I found it ta be tha Stellar Project Radio Edit (thanx iPR for gettin’ it but SMH @ MCD for just labelin’ it as “Remix”). I bought tha JH mix and it was good for a start but this mix gives it a nice flava and iz a lil’ faster! Keep tha HOT songs comin’, Kim! Definitely likin’ tha chorus on this one; good comeback for SP!! My Current Rating: 4.4

06. Rihanna Feat. Jump Smokers “Hard (Jump Smokers Clean Radio Edit)”

Shit… This iz Dance sources dickriding at its finest!! Just ‘cause Rihanna’s rappin’ on this song DOESN’T mean dat y’all had ta remix it?? And JS ain’t really Dance to me! They’re even rappin’ on this instead of Young Jeezy, lol. Even though this iz pure shit (SMH @ its 116 slow-ass BPM), I’m gonna prolly add it to my playlist for a good laugh ‘cause she just makes me lol. SMH @ this (Jody Den Broeder mix) bein’ iPR’s #1 song on their playlist currently; why so fast? I feel like tha P stands for “Pop” now wit them. :roll: Tha JS sounded random rappin’ on this; feels like they LUV this song ta death or somethin’, lol!! Even Rihanna’s “where ___ at” parts are SO cheesy too (especially how she says ‘em)! My Current Rating: 2.3

07. Cascada “Fever (Radio Edit)”
ROFL @ tha content warning! :rofl “Who tha fuck needs V.I.P.?” Hot ear-catcher!! Tha beat DEFINITELY sounds hot here; has a lil’ “ETDF” feel and people’ll DEFINITELY catch a “fever” listenin’ ta this ‘cause of how hot it iz!! I know Pop stations’ll get this too! Glad “ETDF” really blew up on them too! My Current Rating: 4.3

08. Flanders “Time (Vincenzo Callea Radio Mix)”

Keepin’ tha hot released songs comin’!! PO was on point for grabbin’ these all for Feb quickly! I like this much betta than “Behind” (maybe not on 1^st listen but overall); still feelin’ tha slow beat in tha verses! I like tha chorus and tha beat ta this one; good job, Flanders! My Current Rating: 4.2

09. Jennifer Lopez “Louboutins (Jody Den Broeder & Warren Rigg Radio Edit)”

Needed ta have a remix ta this song! Tha original version kinda faded too fast when I got it last month (and J-Lo said it was ‘pose ta be a big song, lol). DEFINITELY lookin’ forward ta this remix; hope it’s HOT!! >>> Sounded like a different mix but I heard tha WR-type start after like 15 seconds (tha quiet part before tha verse came on). I don’t know about tha random keyboard in tha song; prolly could’ve had TM team up wit WR instead of JDB ‘cause I think JDB’s sounds ain’t makin’ it tha catchiest here. Tha interlude kinda seemed long (wit tha “walk it out”). Will MCD pick this up after how much they dickrided her other songs in ’07? My Rating: 3.5

10. BT Feat. Christian Burns “Suddenly (Cicada 7” Mix)”

Interestin’ ta see a new Cicada mix. I didn’t get ta hear tha original version yet though so let’s see how this iz. I saw it on MCD last night. >>> Not bad for a start; wanna hear more in tha beat. Okay, tha chorus sounds a lil’ better; at a peak here for tha song. Pretty good chorus but I don’t know if this’ll be better than tha original when I hear tha original. It sounds like it’ll be a good Dance song but this mix ain’t really nothin’… My Rating: 3.2

½time: Lookin’ gr8 here!! Of course, a lot of tha songs I knew already had GR8 ratings!! Tha newbies didn’t turn out too gr8 so I hope tha 2^nd ½ pulls off! Tha average CD rating currently iz 3.9; not bad.

11. Fawni “Serious (Soul Junkie Radio Edit)”

LMFAO!! Where was PO a year ago? :? This was added on MCD December 31, 2008 and it was already out online a while before that… It made #21 on my YEC of 2009 (prolly Top 10 for Dance songs) wit whopping amount of spins!! I HOPE this iz a good mix ta revive tha song!! I don’t know what ta anticipate… >>> Cool intro here… I smell new life wit this song! I don’t know about tha part that’s dubbin’ after tha 1^st verse. It even went into tha 2^nd verse right after that… Boo @ 1:07 where they tricked me, makin’ me think tha chorus was there but it started dubbin’ again. :( Not likin’ that this sounds like a dub. FINALLY, tha chorus @ 1:52!! Cool beat once again… Damn, only one chorus? YUCK!! A bunch of negatives came outta this for me while there were positives… My Rating: 3.8

12. Kaskade & Seamus Haji Feat. Haley “So Far Away (Kaskade Radio Edit)”

I smell a mainstream Dance song here!! Only heard it once on MCD and you know it’s catchy! Lemme hear it again on this review! >>> Tha intro sounds hot. I like tha way Kaskade has tha mix goin’ on here. Wow, tha chorus DEFINITELY sounds hot; good shit here!! Tha lyrics are definitely catchy; “got an hour ta kill.” That’s how I feel right now wit this review, lol. Prolly got an hour left ‘til tha review ends. I’m gonna really look forward ta playin’ this; glad PO did their thang wit grabbin’ a good mix!! My Rating: 4.3

13. Irene Nelson “Sunrise (Chew Fu Wasabi Radio Fix)”

Iz that an error? Iz it really “Radio Fix” (EDIT: Yes, it iz)? I like tha artist name so I HOPE this iz GR8 and not SHITTY like dat Rihanna “Russian Roulette” mix from tha last CD!!! >>> Okay, tha start sounds hot here; glad I ain’t complainin’ already. I hear tha vocals and it almost sounds like a sample but it’s good! Tha vocals are pretty catchy durin’ tha 1^st verse here; interestin’ song here. Sounds like an accent on tha 2^nd verse; this once again iz catchy! Thumbs up ta tha remixer doin’ it. My Rating: 4.4

14. Damien S Feat. Femke “Stars Collide (Timothy Allen Remix Edit)”

Talk about HOTNESS!!! Glad PO discovered this song and motivated me ta play it in 2010 as well as tha end of ’09!! MCD has it in late night rotation but it sounds like a HOT late night song! Almost reminds me of Vocal Trance here (on tha slower side). Tha music DEFINITELY has a mood and those vocals are REAL gr8 for this!! I wish more would happen wit tha music but it’s hot after tha verses! Tha lyrics DEFINITELY are on point here!! Tha part at 3:01 iz REAL HOT for this song and tha music a few seconds after as well!! My Current Rating: 4.5

15. Myah Marie “Chemistry (Radio Edit)”

This PO ‘bout ta get REAL anticipating!!! Known for “Everything” wit RR & DS, let’s see how she does it, Next Plateau style!! REAL HIGH AL here!!! >>> Sounds like they produced it based off tha beginning; it has that HOT “Everything” type beat and even tha sound on tha verse has that feel too! Good job on tha vocals here and tha song has me interested here! Tha chorus iz hot; catchy lyrics here for anotha future Dance song! Hope people pay attention for this like they did for “Everything”! My Rating: 4.2

16. Birdman Feat. Drake & Lil’ Wayne “Money To Blow (Mike Rizzo Clean Radio Edit)”

LOL, for tha 2^nd time on PO, not only was tha highest BPM 133 but it was a Rap song (or Rap song remixed); weird! And who would’ve guessed this song would be remixed? Louisiana has entered tha Dance world, ROFL (even though I don’t consider them LA artists ‘cause they don’t have tha LA sound)!! Knowin’ my mainstream tastes, I didn’t come close to IC’ing tha original version but wit MR doin’ tha mix, it’ll prolly be an instant; let’s see!! >>> LOL, this iz hella cool/unexpected!!! Tha 1^st verse iz Drake. I like Drake but neva IC’d any of his songs… I know no one will get this; I’ll laugh if anyone gets it, lol. But yea, he sounds good on this mix. Of course, who doesn’t like a song about havin’ buku “money?” As for Birdman on tha 2^nd verse, he sounds like talkin’ than rappin’ ‘cause of how slow his flow iz. Now Wayne iz pretty catchy for his part on tha 3^rd verse for this. Glad Drake made it a catchy chorus too. My Rating: 4.0

Saw PFM get this song and it’s on their playlist; I wonder what it gon be about… >>> I hear tha vocals and it’s good; mainstream Dance sound. It sounds good when tha chorus comes in; lookin’ hot here. Pretty hot PFM song here; they random when it comes ta pickin’ up a hot Dance song! Tha chorus iz remindin’ me of older Dance music when songs like these would just become anthems outta nowhere. My Rating: 4.1

18. Kilo Feat. Funk Generation “What I See (Funk Generation Radio Edit)”

I see LOTS of AL for this one!!! You KNOW if it’s MR and it’s Next Plateau on tha label, it should be REAL, REAL HOT!!!!! >>> It’s male vocals; unexpected here. LOL @ tha chorus part (I think that’s what it iz); almost reminds me of Reggae vocals. Interesting song but I don’t know how much I’ll like it from my AL. Tha rest of tha song iz pretty much what I said before… Either this’ll get out there on MCD or get totally ignored. My Rating: 3.6

19. Livvi Franc “Automatik (Smash Mode Radio)”

“NITB” was an okay song for what it was. This song however iz DEFINITELY HOT!!! I like this one better and tha original version has it goin’ on!!! iPR picked up a Wideboys Stadium Edit so let’s see what this mix’ll be like; I have AL for it!! >>> ALWAYS tha hot music from SM; on tha slow side again for their remixes. She DEFINITELY sounds hot on this beat though; likin’ tha lyrics a whole lot for this song!! I really like tha 2^nd verse wit tha “body robe” and “fightin’ battles I could neva win” part! I also like tha bridge wit tha “pull on me like—like a magnet” part (rhymin’ wit tha title)! :tu Even some nice dubbin’ in this too! I definitely like tha original version betta. This mix may be good but I’ll stick wit my Wideboys mix although it sounds like Miley’s “Party In The U.S.A.” mix they did. My Rating: 4.3

20. Chris “The Greek” Panaghi Feat. Laylah “I Wanna Feel The Music (Chris “The Greek” Panaghi Radio Mix)”

Forgot what this one was for a second… I like Laylah and her “Outta Control” song from two POs ago. I think this’ll be anotha hot song from her, especially since she’s teamin’ up wit C”TG”!! >>> Once again, just like Kelita, she’s DEFINITELY hot wit tha vocals and how she delivers ‘em! ;) This one sounds more quiet in tha beat than tha “Outta Control” song. At around :46 where she says, “tha music,” tha sound effect sounded EXACTLY like she says tha intro in “OC.” This iz like ¾’s of a minute longer than “OC” so basically, it was just like an extra chorus was added, lol. Actually, my prediction was wrong ‘cause I hear a bridge; there might be an interlude though. You know I like this but tha beat should’ve been more upbeat like “I Like To Feel The Beat.” My Rating: 3.7

21. Calvin Harris Feat. Ayah Marar “Flashback (Radio Edit)”

LOL, time ta talk about him: My college station that I DJ at (known for Rock and some Electronic music; I play my own undaground Louisiana Rap music) added “Ready For The Weekend” (11/09 PO) onto their “current” rotation. I LOL’d @ it when I saw it on their website and when I stepped into tha radio station, I heard one of tha DJ’s play it and talk about him. They said they had anotha song of his in rotation too, lol. For this song, I didn’t really IC it when I first heard it but I think I gon get amped for it ‘cause I had “flashbacks” of my boy Nu$$ie (from Louisiana) who got murdered a year ago at this time (‘cause I was puttin’ my 2009 YEC on YT). Lemme hear. >>> Tha intro iz like LOL in tha beginning ‘cause it’s like his “RFTW” “end” vocal. It sounds cool wit tha beat in tha beginning and tha lyrics are good, I guess. Tha beat kinda startin’ ta get dry… I thought it sounded hotter but it’s still pretty good. Tha chorus iz good; who’s tha random female? Catchy song; I think I gon add it finally. My Current Rating: 3.8

Overall: I thought this was a cool CD. Some of my high AL’s let me down a lil’ but it paid off. I liked a bunch of songs off this CD and I see a lot of future songs on my playlist!

It’s FrankieThaLuckyDog here and I’m finally gonna review tha recent Promo Only that came out. Basically, by now, I know nearly all tha songs so I don’t really need any previews. Before tha night ends, I gon complete this review finally so here it goes! Here goes my review for Promo Only: Dance Radio January 2010!! Start Time: 11:54 PM | End Time: 1:32 AM

1. I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating.

To tha artist/producer: Don’t get catchy feelin’s if I don’t like a song on a first listen. Things could change in tha future as I could love it, so you neva know!

01. Madonna Feat. Lil’ Wayne “Revolver (One Love Remix)”

I think this iz gr8. If only mainstream sources can pay attention to this. DEFINITELY a HOT beat and tha content iz REAL GR8 here!! Even Weezy comin’ through on tha feature sounds gr8 for tha collaboration here! :tu My Current Rating: 4.4

02. Lady GaGa “Bad Romance (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

Keepin’ tha heat flowin’!! This iz a HOT remix; nice job, DA!! REALLY liked how tha intro was made, especially tha “rah rah” shit, lol! :rofl Tha original version iz just as gr8 but you know we had ta remix it up for tha new decade! My Current Rating: 4.3

03. Leggz Feat. Stephanie “La La La (Radio Edit)”

At first when I heard it, I had a lil’ bit of disappoint ‘cause of tha typical sounding and Nervous signin’ a song like this. However, after a few listens, it’s catchy; gotta feel tha chorus!! :tu Tha beat has an okay vibe and can be borderline at times (if only mainstream sources would pay attention once again). My Current Rating: 3.9

04. Samantha “U-Turn (Clean Radio Edit)”

I had AL for this content warning Robbins song, especially when I saw tha “Burn Motherfucker Burn” part of tha title too online! I thought it was gonna be a remake but it’s a HOT new song!! Tha beat iz DEFINITELY cool here and tha lyrics fit GR8 for tha Dance world! Gotta luv new discovered talent! :tu It’s ALWAYS a GR8 thing ta go a different route wit your lyrics, ESPECIALLY makin’ them explicit, strong and meaningful! Gotta luv tha “burn, motherfucker burn!!” part @ 1:43! :tu My Current Rating: 4.3

05. J Brazil “Girl I’m Tryin’ (Weekend Radio Edit)”

Had a pretty bad 1^st listen so let’s see what happens now… I don’t like how Ultra Records be signin’ these non-Dance songs; WTF @ tha Cyndi Lauper sample? I’m not likin’ this; too mainstream! :td Tha lyrics are like ehh, especially wit tha Auto-Tune. :td I’m glad no one has this song yet, that I know of! ;) My Rating: 1.5

06. Sun “Fancy Free (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

Talk about from a shitty song to a REAL GR8 song!!! What a GR8 COMEBACK!!! :tu And DA doin’ a kick-ass mix again!! :tu Sun comin’ through wit tha kick-ass lyrics too; gotta luv that there’s a lot of ‘em!! :) Even tha title iz pretty catchy too! I wish I was “fancy free” ‘cause I got tons of shit goin’ on consistently; I love it though! My Current Rating: 4.7

07. Three 6 Mafia & Tiёsto Feat. Sean Kingston & Flo Rida “Feel It (Clean Radio Edit)”

This iz a jam right here!! It doesn’t fit wit tha Rap music I listen to these dayz and I’m surprised mainstream outlets aren’t on this… They should luv this ‘cause Tiёsto has a name for himself (glad he produced this ‘cause he did a NICE job) and tha rest of tha artists are pretty big. Mainstream songs like this should have these kinda beats ‘cause they get me listenin’. I ignore all tha SK/Flo Rida-type shit dat comes out but this iz good. Glad Dance and Rap people are makin’ good music! :tu My Current Rating: 4.4

08. BoA “Energetic (Razor N Guido Radio Edit)”

Couldn’t find it before but now I see it on YouTube. I know I like my Mike Rizzo mix so I have doubts for this mix… >>> Not off to a good start; boring beat. At least wit tha MR mix, tha beat already had captured me quickly. It sounds like though this beat iz pickin’ up before tha chorus. They did somethin’ to tha vocals durin’ tha chorus, which sounded okay, I guess. Sounds more like a dub mix here. I’m glad MCH got tha original version though ‘cause you KNOW when you don’t come from tha U.S., you’re DEFINITELY a hottie!! My Rating: 3.6

09. Ke$ha “TiK ToK (Fred Falke Radio Edit)”

After hearin’ my gurl at college Alexia make her own picture/music video to this song, I feel VERY addicted to it!! It has been with me since October and it’s STILL goin’ STRONG!! I think it’s an above average mix. I’m glad artists are goin’ more towards tha Dance-Pop feel these dayz. :tu Catchy club lyrics here and you KNOW I gotta go for sum Ke$ha! Dat chorus iz SO ADDICTING!!! My Current Rating: 4.5

10. Blake Lewis “Heartbreak On Vinyl (Bimbo Jones Radio Edit)”

TIME TO THROW UP!!! :td Sadly, one of tha more betta-soundin’ BJ mixes, this song just has VERY SAD lyrics to listen to!! UGH, tha last chorus (“TiK ToK”) was addicting. This, it’s HORRIBLY ADDICTING in a BAD WAY!!! Who calls their store “Heartbreak On Vinyl???” :confused Glad this’ll be tha last time I’ll hear this! ;) I honestly can’t listen to this ‘cause of tha EXTREMELY saddened lyrics!! My Current Rating: 2.2

½time: Well, a bunch of tha songs were familiar to me before this CD even came out. Basically, Sun’s song iz EASILY tha best without a doubt! Tha average CD rating iz only at 3.8 right now. I don’t remember what ta expect for tha rest of tha CD so we’ll see how it rides out.

11. Kaylah Marin “On The Floor (Oh Baby Please) (Josh Harris Remix Edit)”

Again, we have tha transition from shitty to GREATNESS on this CD!! Gotta feel tha return of JH on tha mix and tha vocals here sound gr8! Even MCD picked it up for a “late night” song; good exposure for a start! There should’ve been more in tha chorus but as long as tha vocals are hot wit tha beat, tha song sounds hot already! Tha verses are catchy too. As strong as tha vocals are at times, my favorite part iz @ 3:40 – 3:50. My Current Rating: 4.3

12. Vassy “History (Jump Smokers Remix Edit)”

Anotha MCD “late night” add earlier this week. On FL, it sounded just decent and “blah blah” mainstream soundin’ for an Ultra song. However, when I heard tha chorus, it sounds like it’ll catch in a big way, whether it’s mainstream sources or wit me. I know it’ll be a success wit me… Glad tha chorus iz really catchy and you KNOW I luv tha content of “someone bein’ history!!” For 2010, I don’t even PREDICT any idiot/assholes comin’ and stayin’ in my life! :tu My Current Rating: 4.1

EDIT: Little did I know, I met someone in 2010 from Baton Rouge, LA and a year later, they stole $555 from me; crazy!!

13. Rihanna “Russian Roulette (Chew Fu Black Russian Radio Mix)”

Oh no, back to tha BS… I can’t believe how HORRIBLE this mix iz vs. tha Max Methods Remix! :confused Why did PO go wit this mix? There’s NO seriousness in this slow song!! WTF did MCD pick up this mix and pretty much ditch tha MM mix? :td WTF iz up wit tha mix name also?? Because of her new HORRIBLE song, “Hard,” I feel like this song iz R.I.P.’d now. Tha BPM should’ve been 80-90, not no 130, smh. My Current Rating: 1.1

14. The Angry Kids vs. The Lives Of Famous Men “Annie Taylor (The Angry Kids FM Edit)”

YT’ing it and it sounds a lil’ weird once again for a start. Tha slow start iz catchy for Pop stations but this iz Dance we’re talkin’ about now… Their “I Ran (So Far Away)” remake three years ago was much better and MUCH betta remixed! As for this remake-soundin’ song, it’s just on tha weird-type. What happened to tha really fast/creative beat remakes? I guess no exposure for this song too, huh, lol? My Rating: 2.6

15. 50 Cent Feat. Ne-Yo “Baby By Me (Digital Dog Radio Edit)”

As I’m not into tha original versions of songs like these, there’s always people like DD to save tha day! It’s DEFINITELY a HOT remix so thumbs up to tha DD! It doesn’t have dat much power from when I first got it so I’m not sure if I’m gonna put it on my 2010 year-end countdown. Gotta luv tha fastness, lol. My Current Rating: 4.0

16. Jason Derϋlo “Whatcha Say (WaWa Remix)”

This iz anotha hot remix (especially since it’s WW on tha mix) but this izn’t like a ’10 song for me. Tha original version took ova durin’ tha Fall and I got this remix around tha same time ‘cause I liked tha original. We’ll see how long he stays around for ‘cause he gets a plus from me. Tha chorus (which iz tha 2^nd chorus on this mix) iz catchy; gotta luv tha voice/sample! My Current Rating: 4.2

17. David May “Superstar (Richard Vission Radio Edit)”

I didn’t know what ta expect from this one but when I heard tha Rolling Stones/The Verve “Bittersweet Symphony” sound, I KNEW it was gonna sound HOT, ESPECIALLY wit this mix!! Tha vocals even sound cool on a mix like this. I heard it in Johnny Budz’s mix on MCD and didn’t think it was gonna be a song that was gonna do its thang. My Current Rating: 4.0

18. Shiny Toy Guns “Major Tom (Adam K & Soha Radio Edit)”

Hearin’ on a Google search (Podcast) and they say this iz a remake… Tha 2^nd listen here sounds betta/mega catchy. Tha beat iz cool on tha Vocal Trance style here. I liked their “Le Disko” song a lot better though from three years ago (damn, time flies, lol). Tha chorus has that Vocal Trance-type of sound to it too, thanx to AK&S! Tha rest of tha song sounded gr8 too; definitely on tha catchy level! I hope it has some success in tha future! My Current Rating: 3.9

19. Brian Anthony “Electricity (Sunfreakz Radio Edit)”

It’s an okay song for what it iz. I’m surprised MCD picked it up. Sounds kinda slow wit Sunfreakz on tha mix… Wit tha last song of his, “Worked Up!,” it at least had a hot mix! Plus, why have a feature on PO (as an error) when tha featured dude ain’t on this? I would like ta hear tha rappin’ although I look at it like where did rappin’ mix wit this song? I’m assumin’ tha rappin’ would originally be after tha 2^nd verse? Didn’t like that plain breakdown without tha rappin’. :td My Current Rating: 3.4

20. Utada “Dirty Desire (Mike Rizzo Radio Edit)”

All my AL was on tha table wit this song (behind Sun’s song), especially bein’ curious about tha content warning! It sounds hot for a start wit tha MR beat and Utada doin’ her thang! Tha chorus sounds cool/hot; you KNOW I get a turn on here and there! I read on YT that there’s racy lyrics here so that’s why there’s a content warning. Even tha vocals are VERY much on tha HOT tip!! Too bad tha mainstream media doesn’t go for HOT songs like these… Maybe MCD’ll pick it up as a “late night” song? Now, I feel like I don’t want it ta end!! I’m glad it has 40 seconds left!! Even tha ending was HOT wit tha HOT part in tha chorus!! My Current Rating: 4.4

21. Sir Ivan “Kumbaya (Christopher Lawrence Radio Edit)”

Tha last song and it sounds interesting fa what it iz. Both tha artist and tha mixer names look familiar… Hearin’ tha title and it sounds like a remake. There’s a hot lil’  beat here; likin’ tha style! :tu Ooh, a female snuck into tha song durin’ tha 2^nd part! Pretty interestin’ here for this lil’ remake. Definitely feelin’ tha beat here! :tu My Current Rating: 4.3

Overall: I thought this CD did a NICE job!! Tha average CD rating wasn’t that high but there were a lotta gr8 songs on here!! I know February’ll do a NICE job too!! Let’s keep tha music up for tha new decade!!!
