Here goes my review for “Promo Only: Dance Radio April 2011”. Even though I had an unanticipated view at tha tracklisting, first, I’m pretty anticipated, now! Start Time: 3:09 PM | End Time: 4:47 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Adele “Rolling In The Deep (Downtown London Remix Radio Edit)”

Liked tha original when it first came out; didn’t think it would be big or anything. Now, #1 on VH1, and played so much on MCD? Who would’ve thought this’d be Dance-remixed? Even though I like tha ‘90s feel, it’s a good replacement from tha original wit me. ROFL, it didn’t even censor “shit” (sounds like “ship” ‘til I heard it reversed on tha music video and had to google it; ROFL @ no content warning, too). My Current Rating: 3.8

02. Eric Prydz Feat. Jan Burton “Niton (The Reason)”

Heard it on MCD (thanx to this PO) and smh, late-night song (‘cause I only heard it about two times within tha last few weeks)? After everyone dickrided “Call On Me”? I think they better step their game up ‘cause some of tha better, less-mainstream songs on here are in regular rotation (“Falling”, “We Own The Night”), which iz weird for tha typical them. Anyway, real hot beat and good comeback; these male vocals sound tight, thanx to everything combinin’! :tu My Current Rating: 4.5

03. Chris Brown Feat. Benny Benassi “Beautiful People (Main Mix)”

Who would’ve thought we’d see a collaboration like this? Back a few years ago, and still now, it would look like “Benny Benassi Radio Edit”, but now that everyone knows Dance artists (not sure who’s reachin’ out to who), looks like they’re featured, lol. At first, I was like, “what tha hell,” especially wit this weird-ass, Auto-Tuned-ass voice of his, but it’s been catchin’ on tha more times I hear it. Also, this was tha “Jam Of The Week” on MTV Jams (urban video channel); who would’ve guessed this would’ve happened? That’s one play every HOUR for a week (168 plays in its 1^st week); crazy! My Current Rating: 3.9

04. DJ Mog & Paul Kennedy Feat. The Stetz “Full Circle (Chriss Ortega Radio Edit)”

First of, I think, two artists on here that MCD would NOT STOP PLAYIN’. How long did we have to hear “Somewhere”? :? They finally cooled down wit that song after almost 10 months. Now that I saw them premiere this, I wanted to wait for tha review to give my fair opinion. >>> Kinda sounds like a Rock start but adds tha interestin’ Dance beats and somewhat-good for tha mainstream Dance outlets. Sounds much betta wit tha chorus part; glad tha beat’s in full Dance gear, now! Usually, I’d be a lil’ bored wit somethin’ like this but because of this good mood this CD’s bringin’ me, I can’t dislike, right now! My Rating: 4.0

05. Andrea Rosario “We Own The Night (Wideboys Radio Edit)”

WHAT A HUGE SONG!!!!! PURE HOTNESS TO THA FULLEST!! SMH @ MCD for not sourcin’ tha mix; had me searchin’ and forgot it was on here. Has to be tha strongest vocals on this CD!! Plus, tha hot-ass beat helps, too!!! Glad I’m gettin’ to hear these songs a lot, since I have been workin’ on a documentary all day, for tha next 10 dayz; thumbs up for MCD for puttin’ it in regular rotation so I can hear it! My Current Rating: 4.9

06. Diddy – Dirty Money Feat. Skylar Grey “Coming Home (Dirty South Radio Mix)”

This iz where removin’ tha rappin’ goes wrong: First off, only tha “sleepy” 1^st chorus of tha song repeats and not tha better-soundin’ 2^nd chorus of tha original? Next, four minutes of mainly a beat? Tha beat’s cool but tha boring level’s high. My Current Rating: 3.7

07. Hyper Crush “Kick Us Out (Johnny Vicious Radio Edit)”

ROFL, let’s hear tha remix! >>> Speakin’ of ‘90s, tha start sounds like a ‘90s start wit tha beat, here; good shit… I guess tha MC Mixtape got this ‘cause I remember tha “they tryna—stupid” part (which iz tha start of tha 2^nd verse shortened by tha start of tha 1^st verse, lol). Sounds better than tha original version; uh, MCD, where are you? Still playin’ tha original version, smh? Be Dance, already, lol! My Rating: 4.2

08. Dave Matthias vs. Julissa Veloz “Sweet Sugar Poison (Liam Keegan Radio Edit)”

Carrillo Music in tha buildin’, here, as well as tha P!nk “Raise Your Glass” remixer; lookin’ forward ta hearin’! >>> Feelin’ tha moanin’ in tha beginning! I’m likin’ tha erotic feel, here; evolved more from tha evolved-“Predator”? Good shit, of course! This has a better beat than “Predator” although I liked “Predator” better on a 1^st listen. Even though Julissa’s a singer, it sounds like she’s rappin’ this, lol. My Rating: 4.0

09. Cedric Gervais Feat. Mýa “Love Is The Answer”

>>> LOL, Mýa teamin’ up in tha Dance world, too? Interestin’, and this iz pretty hot for a collaboration! This deserves ta go Pop, but you know how this fucked-up music world iz, smh. :td Should be pretty addicting once it (hopefully) gets out there! My Rating: 4.3

10. Beth Ditto “I Wrote The Book”

ROFL, forgot this was on here, too. MCE got this and when I heard tha title, I was like, “wasn’t this on tha new PO,” and here it iz! Anotha song on a mainstream label (Columbia, same as Beyoncé and Magnetic Man). For tha song, nice beat for an MCE/low BPM; tha vocals are hella catchy wit these catchy lyrics, too, which equals a tri-combo of hotness! Saw her pics on MCE and she’s hella fat, lol!! My Current Rating: 4.3

11. Jackie Madden “Falling (Mig & Rizzo Original Mix)”

Anotha HUGE song!!! Not sure if I like this better than “We Own The Night”; very close call!! Researched her while tryin’ to find this song and I believe she’s an actress; hotness!!! Of course, Mig & Rizzo do a GR8 job solo; combined, they’re 2x better!!! MCD jumped on this like it was nothin’, especially for lettin’ it be a regular-rotation song! This deserves mainstream success ‘cause it’s actually tha original version of tha song, which should be a sign! Almost sounds like Jenna Drey on tha bridge wit those background vocals; gotta have those great invisions! My Current Rating: 4.8

½time: Tha CD’s startin’ to get really good, thanx to those really good songs toward tha end of tha 1^st ½ and tha ones like Eric Prydz & Andrea Rosario! Currently, a 4.2-rated CD; gotta keep it up!!!

12. Michael Jackson “Hollywood Tonight (DJ Chuckie Radio Edit)”

SMH; I shouldn’t leave any feedback! His death iz tha biggest dickrided thing in history!!! :td How can PO go from a HOT actress (before I can even get a good look at her) to a child molester? :? My Current Rating: 2.4

13. Lady GaGa “Born This Way (Bimbo Jones Remix Radio Edit)”

>>> At least this sounds better than tha boring Manhattan Clique mix MCD got. Still, I like tha original version tha best, unfortunately; somebody should’ve put their all into remixin’ this song, since it’s GaGa! ROFL, they didn’t use tha “no matter gay, straight, or bi; lesbian, transgender…” part on tha last chorus on tha BJ mix; unironic, lol! :rofl My Rating: 4.1

14. Phunk & Beat Thrillerz Feat. Katy Allen “Lose Control”

Next Plateau signed, so I should be anticipated! >>> Didn’t think this would sound that “Dance”; thought it would be some club banga. Hot chorus, regardless of tha deadmau5 pattern; as long as tha beat’s strong! Tha part right around 2:50ish sounds pretty hot wit this neva-stoppin’ beat! :tu Damn, tha hotness of that endin’ beat just makes me wanna boost my rating even higher than 4.2! My Rating: 4.3

15. Jennifer Hudson “Where You At (Dave Audé Remix Radio Edit)”

Kinda boring for a HM but it doesn’t bother me too much… Kinda reminds me a lil’ of Disco-type shit, at times… My Current Rating: 3.0

16. Ron Reeser & Dan Saenz Feat. Jennifer Karr “City Of Kings”

Artist 2 of 2 dat MCD can’t stop lovin’; they’re still playin’ “Into You” a coupla times a day and it’s over a year old, domestically! They make that song look 1,000x bigger than “Everything”… But, I don’t mind it; let’s see this anticipatin’ follow-up!! >>> Started off right away and JK’s doin’ tha damn thang wit tha vocals and lyrics! Anotha great tri-combo on this PO!! A lil’ beat added after tha chorus; thumbs up! Gotta keep switchin’ thangz up! Damn, tha 2^nd chorus sounded like it ripped off tha 2^nd chorus of “Take Over Control” wit tha beat and havin’ a chorus instead of a verse, lol! After hearin’ tha last chorus, it sounds a lot like “Take Over Control” so much; damn, even tha ending beat wit tha kick-ins of tha beat! ROFL @ all this! Not a fade-out, too? Okay, at least it didn’t copy that, lol! My Rating: 4.2

17. FNA “Take Me Home Tonight (Gregory Ferguson Remix)”

And what iz this? *Checks label to be prepared* Semi-borderline mainstream label but 133 BPM (fastest song on here)? Now, I gotta hear it for myself! >>> Definitely a hot beat start; don’t know anything about this artist but I guess tha “Atlantic Recordings” signin’ wit anotha label, at tha same time, iz tha next move for Dance songs (“Hello”, “Dirty Talk”, “Freefallin’”, “Believer” all did it). Beat’s definitely hot although gonna kinda work on these lyrics and tha vocals are pretty-good… My Rating: 4.3

18. iSQUARE “Hey Sexy Lady (Sultan & Ned Shepard Radio Edit)”

OMG, MCD, you! Add this artist to tha “i” collection wit iTunes, iPods, iHomes, etc., lol! But, tha chorus iz hella catchy but I dunno about MCD playin’ this 3, 4x a day; sounds like they wanna play it out. This also sounds like another Pop rapper tryna have tha random singer on tha chorus and be, like, one-hit-wonderish. If I can keep seein’ my gurl Alexia, then this can get a further, longer-lasting plus from me. My Current Rating: 3.9

19. Cristian Marchi & Nari & Milani Feat. Max C “I Got You (Antillas & Dankann Inda House Cut)”

Antillas was known for tha Plummet remix of “Cherish The Day” seven years ago. Sadly, this iz only 128 BPM while that was 140; hate how those dayz seem like they could never come back! I think my AL’s a lil’ low but we’ll see… >>> Kinda a lil’ bit of interest in tha beginning, includin’ tha beat, but these vocals are a lil’ yucky… I guess this iz a good sign for Ultra, overall; anotha plus for tha powerful beat. I doubt this song would do good for me if it doesn’t get out there, so gettin’ out there can prolly help it on my playlist. My Rating: 3.8

20. Milk & Sugar vs. Vaya Con Dios “Hey (Nah Neh Nah) (UK Radio Edit)”
ROFL… PO goes from havin’ a remix to a somewhat-original version? Weird… I doubt this’ll do any good… >>> I like tha plain sound, here; think they should’ve had this on tha March CD and tha WaWa version here. Sounded like WaWa did better mixin’ wit tha vocals than this original version. ROFL, really got slow at 1:27! :rofl Can’t think of what that reminded me of, but I liked it, for a joke, lol. My Rating: 4.3

21. Joe Zangie “You Remind Me (Mig & Rizzo Radio Edit)”
ROFL @ tha content warning (“hittin’ love” but not “shit” from “Rolling In The Deep” :?). MCD had this for two months and I’ve been wantin’ to get it; luckily, I found it on YouTube (tha music video). Tha same label dat signed Wendy’s “Turn It Up” from tha August ’10 PO (also mixed by M&R); surprised that song didn’t go anywhere but this jumped out there so fast! Very hot song wit tha hot beat and tha vocals sound catchy for a good song for a relationship! My Current Rating: 4.4

22. Rock Mafia “The Big Bang (Smash Mode Radio Edit)”

Ending it wit tha latest producers for Miley Cyrus? They have their own song and label? Because of SM, I think I’ll have some anticipation for this really-short song! >>> Feelin’ tha start, here! This iz my 8^th review for today, lol! I’m not sure what’s gonna happen wit dis PO… Here goes my review for “Promo Only: Dance Radio March 2011”. Start Time: 3:33 PM | End Time: 5:22 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Hot Rod Feat. Milana Leybovich & Tommy Beringer “Dance With Me”

I wonder what dis iz, especially wit 134 BPM on this mix…? I’m not 100% sure who this artist iz…; are they Pop related? Alternative? Urban? Maybe a combo of tha three? I have an idea but don’t wanna say ‘til I hear… >>> LOL, tha start makes me think a lil’ of tha Urban that I was thinkin’ of; I could’ve sworn this dude, which was what I was gonna say, was wit 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records years ago? Anyway, tha beat may be really nice but if it’s tha kinda Rap music dat pissed me off recently, it’s this kind wit dat stupid-ass Auto-Tune in their voices. Tha chorus sounds good wit tha girl but how random of dis to be remixed/here? Even tha lyrics are gay for me. I may only like this a lil’ ‘cause of it havin’ a mix like this—that’s it. But, I have to deduct ‘cause of how tha lyrics/vocals/etc. sound. My Rating: 3.0

EDIT: Did a PO search and yea, I believe this iz tha G-Unit-related one, lol. I wasn’t sure at first ‘cause I didn’t even know what that label was that he was signed to… Also, it’s an original version, not a Smash Mode Radio Edit. And, tha features are Milana Leybovich & Tommy Beringer.

02. Lady GaGa “Born This Way”

I usually don’t like seein’ original versions of someone like GaGa on this CD compilation, but I have ta say, this iz a good comeback for her, especially wit all her expressions and hot Dance-Pop beat! People say this sounds like Madonna “Express Yourself”; I don’t hear anything similar… My Current Rating: 4.2

03. Milk & Sugar vs. Vaya Con Dios “Hey (Nah Neh Nah) (WaWa Radio Edit)”

Gotta luv tha ID and MCD’s on this in a pretty-good way! I still feel like this iz tha official listen for me, even though I heard it a few times on there since yesterday. Soundin’ a lil’ different for WaWa on tha beat but, as always, tha anticipation’s pretty nice, here. My Current Rating: 4.4

04. Rihanna “S&M (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

I dunno why but this has a lil’ bit of a catch for me; maybe it’s tha catchy, repetitive chorus wit this DA beat? I dunno but lol @ her “steppin’-up-in-her-sex-game” act, here. My Current Rating: 4.0

05. Magnetic Man Feat. Katy B “Perfect Stranger”

Here’s tha really-fast song and yea, I’m glad ta hear somethin’ like dis! I saw dat MCE got this and yea, sounds more like them, in a special way, on a Breakbeat kinda style. Shit, this reminds me of some of tha older, fast music that we haven’t had in a long-ass time. I guess Britney Spears “Hold It Against Me” iz givin’ shit like this a chance? Even signed wit mainstream label Columbia Records; I think we’re about to evolve for 2011 and beyond!! Definitely some really catchy vocals, here, and you know this shit’s what’s up!! My Rating: 4.7

06. Maniacalm Feat. Lala “I Miss You (Damian Major Radio Edit)”

It was good seein’ them at Megajam ’10, especially tha hot Lala! As far as this bein’ a follow-up song on Next Plateau (instead of their previous Red Stick Recordings release), I think this iz only aight and a lil’ boring/slow. Plus, I don’t see tha need to recycle tha “get you—get you—get you out my mind” shit from “Never Forget You”; a lil’ “stuck-on-tha-one-song”ish? My Current Rating: 3.7

07. Katy Perry “E.T. (Tiësto Remix Radio Edit)”

I read dat tha original version samples tha beginning sound of t.A.T.u. “All The Things She Said”. Even though I thought that was a lil’ bit of a rip-off, will Tiësto give it a nice, Trance-soundin’ feel fa only 130? >>> I feel tha hotness in tha beginning; good thing I pointed out some anticipation! I like how she sings this and I like tha lil’ intermission between tha chorus of dat hot music! Now, it jumped to tha 1^st verse—well, mixed. LOL, just, skipped through tha 1^st verse but I like her “dimension” part and tha chorus, itself. Definitely a different kinda remix compared to most of tha HMs you usually hear; glad they went a full-Dance vibe, here! Definitely a nice example of kick-assness!! My Rating: 4.3

08. Wendel Kos Feat. Andrea Holley “Dancing On The Lights”

>>> Listening to it, quickly, without checkin’ tha ID. So far, it sounds pretty hot and like an upgraded-soundin’ Bimbo Jones beat; wonder what this iz… Thought it sounded familiar but lemme check tha ID, now. *Checks ID* Oh, neva heard but you know a Robbins song/artist like this iz anticipatin’! For official feedback, I have ta say that I’m glad there’s kick-ass-soundin’ songs like this, and so many of ‘em, it looks like! My Rating: 4.1

09. Alexandra Stan “Mr. Saxobeat”

Neva heard this before; an Ultra song? Let’s see what we got, as I predict this’ll be pretty catchy… >>> Even though I neva heard, tha beginning sounds familiar and sounds a lil’ Romanian, I think? Ooh, tha vocals came in and they’re soundin’ hot and Romanian!! :) What a turn on, here!! That means, at least two Romanian people are on this CD!! What a mega plus!! Even some male vocals sneakin’ in as background; interestin’… Keep tha Romanian songs/artists comin’ along; they’re tha kinda songs I neva wanna take off my playlist, as I feel they have everlasting lives!! My Rating: 4.6

10. Kris Menace Feat. Emil “Walking On The Moon (Shorter Radio Edit)”

Fa’real? Why would anyone wanna cover this song, especially within only two years??? Who would’ve seen this comin’, especially for Nervous to sign? Tha original artist iz R&B artist/songwriter The-Dream, wit tha same title, released in 2009. In 2010, MCE got an MCE-soundin’ cover of one of his previous songs in ’09, “Rockin’ That Thang”. Now, a year later, tha Dance world covers anotha song of his—this, lol. It doesn’t really make a difference fa me, since I wasn’t crazy about tha original version… Might just throw this in ignored rotation… My Current Rating: 3.6

½time: 4.1, so far; pretty good. Shit, I wonder what’s left?

11. Alex Lamb Feat. Christina Skaar “Freedom”

MCD, outta nowhere, must luv this song! They played it 3x yesterday; quite uncommon for a Dance song! This iz only 96 BPM? I think that’s gotta be an error, PO; thought there would be a lot of low/weird AL fa this, signed wit Next Plateau, too. I think this iz pretty hot; very hot, consistent beat wit those positive vocals ta help it, too. Okay, I just scanned it and it’s 128; damn, PO! I originally thought we were in for somethin’ really strange, lol. My Current Rating: 4.2

12. Alexis Jordan “Good Girl (Freemasons Radio Edit)”

Speakin’ of “Shorter Radio Edit” from tha “Walking On The Moon” song, this, actually, iz a shorter RE of tha original FM mix, 4:13 on tha length. Regardless, hot beat and I’m about 50/50 wit tha lyrics and shit. I really like how she delivers tha chorus and tha verses sound a lil’ borderline/Urban, at times. Overall, tha beat grabs you and makes it hella catchy, at times! My Current Rating: 4.1

13. Britney Spears “Hold It Against Me (Jump Smokers Radio Edit)”

Part 1 of 2 of tha songs that didn’t need a remix; do I have ta hear? >>> Boring, typical beat sound; are they tryin’ to be like tha Dance people that produce dat same beat? On Dance artists, it doesn’t sound Dancey but on HMs, they had ta make it a touch Dancey? I would say, this iz good for, like, a mixshow; that’s as far as it should go, lol. My Rating: 3.3

14. Jennifer Lopez Feat. Pitbull “On The Floor (Ralphi’s Jurty Clean Radio)”

Part 2 of 2 of tha songs that didn’t need a remix; however, I think this’ll definitely be better than Britney! >>> Tha beginning sounds too dry; hope tha “Lambada” music comes out, since I thought I heard this in a MC mix… Well, tha music ain’t changin’; smh, Ralphi… I thought you were real good at remixin’? :? I hate ta say, but Britney won, in my case. Even worse: Pitbull’s parts (except tha background vocals) are taken out; bad luck for him in tha #14 spot once again on PO (same happened in December ‘09’s PO). ROFL, this went from best PO song on tha last CD and now, tha worst one. My Rating: 2.6

15. Negin “Unexpected”

Finally, somethin’ normal. MCD got this yesterday and it sounded pretty hot! Anotha new song from Robbins! Lemme give it a review… >>> Sounds hot and tha vocals have dat Robbins feel to it. Tha music sounds hot and it’s good dat MCD would get a Robbins song this fast! Tha music’s definitely nice in tha chorus and, just, tha whole song sounds hot! :tu My Current Rating: 4.3

16. Elena Gheorghe “Disco Romancing (Remix)”

3:29 on tha length? Tha description said, “3:12” (original version) but I think that’s ‘cause it leaked on a different PO (tha “Express Audio” one). That means, this iz tha remix? *Listens* Shit yea, it iz!! Adds tha big touch of Romanian honey (lol) to tha not-too-Romanian original version. There was a lot of confusion wit this artist. For a second, I thought it was tha group Elena (Robbins Ent.) (from “Before I Sleep” (April ’08 PO)), no less from Romania. But, it’s a sexy female called Elena Gheorghe (Ultra Records), also from Romania, lol. LOL, I guess that’s why tha Elena group was called “DJ Project”, originally. Anyway, wit tha song, of course, tha hot, Romanian feel to it. Surprised MCD got this and beasts it in a great way, knowin’ they ignored a bunch of great Romanian songs since “Hot” and “Stereo Love”, prolly tha only two Romanian MCD songs in tha ’09-and-after era. Very sexy vocals, especially tha “holla,” “Roma,” “order,” “tiamo,” “pa—pa—pa—party,” and, I could go on and on wit tha parts, lol. Not a Discoish “Disco” song; more Romanian, tha way I like it! :) My Current Rating: 4.4 (lol, same rating when I first heard Elena—tha group; weird)

17. Weekend Warriors “Teenage Crime (City Kicks Remix Radio Edit)”

Thought I saw someone add this (‘cause of tha title) but I don’t think I know ‘cause of Next Plateau signin’. Since NP signed, I might have some AL… >>> Tha beat’s a lil’ quiet for tha start and tha vocals are a lil’ interestin’… Ooh, tha beat got serious at :33; I think we’re gettin’ Dance anthems back again!! Definitely a nice beat although it sounds more like an interlude, overall. Plus, dubbing. Plus, I think, a House feel? I think this has an addictive feel to airplay or somethin’, whether it’s me, you, or a mixshow; there’s good potential wit this. I gave a good amount of feedback so this iz a plus. My Rating: 4.2

18. Chris Brown “Yeah 3X (Abe Clements Radio Remix)”

Bleh… Bleh, also, at DJ Frank E (producer of tha original version) for stealin’ tha beat from Calvin Harris’s “I’m Not Alone” and CB blowin’ up wit this song. Really, how did this blow up? Since ABE C are known fa disappointin’, let’s hear this disappoint! >>> Even though low interest, I think this iz tha best ABE C mix, currently. LOL, tha chorus sounds like it lost tha jacked Calvin Harris sample but keeps an okay beat. My Rating: 3.2

19. Miranda Cosgrove “Dancing Crazy (Smash Mode Radio Edit)”

Speakin’ of Megajam ’10, an lol, or should I say, Ms. iCarly that hosted Megajam ’10. Because of tha mix, I think I’ll have some interest—minimal—in this… >>> At least tha mix ain’t too slow, here. Even though I’m not too familiar of tha plain, not-fast original version, at least this mix gives it a lil’ twist. Seems to be one of tha better HMs on this CD. LOL, I just checked its BPM and it’s only 120; doesn’t sound 120ish like tha “Let’s Play” from tha last PO. My Rating: 4.1

20. Jes “Awaken”

>>> Didn’t do tha preview; wanted to have fun wit it. But, ‘cause I heard tha Tiësto-soundin’ beat, I remembered it was gonna be Jes. And shit, this iz pretty anticipatin’, true-Dance style!! Too bad tha previous song, “Closer”, didn’t get too much airplay; that song got a shitload of countdown and computer play from me, helpin’ it get close to tha Top 50 of my 2010 YEC! Tha whole song sounds consistent; gotta luv, as always, how she comes through and if it iz Tiësto that’s doin’ tha beats! My Rating: 4.3

21. Christian TV “Love 2 Baby”

Ending anotha PO wit a TV artist? Tha previous time was in January ’09 wit PAY TV “Fashion Report”. But, because of tha mainstream, non-Dance, Universal Motown signing, looks like I gon have a really-weird AL for this 125, no-mix song… Actually, I’m startin’ ta get uncomfortable…; startin’ ta fear to listen ta dis, lol!! >>> Sounds like a one-hit-wonder… Oh, Hyper Crush had ta come on MCD, just now (Universal Motown madness)! For a weird AL, there’s somethin’ pretty-good ‘bout this song; might be that beat! These vocals are a lil’ weird and Poppy but tha beat gets a plus. For an ending song, it’s aight; still, a lil’ weird/non-Dance. My Rating: 3.9

Overall: Seemed to be a pretty-interestin’ PO! Tha biggest surprise was #9, tha Romanian artist/song! Anyway, I dunno what else ta say…

Delayed due to I had a speech and when I went to present it, tha file wouldn’t open. :( I had to somehow recover from an embarrassing moment. It was a PowerPoint 2003 – 2007 conversion that I wasn’t aware of happenin’. At least I’ll go next week but now, here goes my ANTICIPATED review for “Promo Only: Dance Radio February 2011”! BTW, I didn’t even see what tha song titles were (except tha ones I knew about, previously). Start Time: 11:18 AM | End Time: 1:28 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Jennifer Lopez Feat. Pitbull “On The Floor”

I have to say, this has to be tha BEST non-Dance PO start!! At first, I was scrollin’ through tha channels, hearin’ this, thinkin’, “damn, “Lambada” got jacked now!” But, somethin’ about it that RedOne did in tha beat makes it sounds real, real hot/catchy, lol! For Pitbull rappin’, I think he does a good job unlike a few other times in tha past. Some of those rhymes are pretty tight, too. Tha only thing that kinda throws me off—although still catchy—iz tha “on tha floor” shit throughout tha verses. Tha “dance tha night away…” part sounds like Angel City “Love Me Right” a lil’ bit in tha music, too. Pitbull’s 2^nd verse sounds tighter wit all those consistent rhymes! And, of course, J-Lo always holdin’ it down wit those catchy vocals!! My Current Rating: 4.8

02. Casely “Neva Fall (Alex Gaudino & Jason Rooney Remix Radio Edit)”

I think I heard this name before…or maybe not (since Ultra signed it—thought it was borderline). Tha “neva” in tha title iz like tha way I type, lol. Let’s see what we got here… >>> A HOT music start here that can’t be resisted! Oh, now I hear tha vocals… Yea, they’re not for me; sounds Auto-Tuned? Ugh, I hate when urban people use dat A-Tune! :td I’m really feelin’ tha energetic music—it beats tha weird vocals. Tha music part at 1:16 I thought I wasn’t gonna like too much but it’s pretty catchy, too. Tha 2^nd verse sounds a lil’ betta… After listenin’ to tha song, I had to PO-check this artist to see if I heard them and yes, I did. They had an R&B song a few years ago as well as bein’ featured on DJ Laz’s “Move, Shake, Drop” (took Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction” beat) wit Flo Rida & Pitbull, lol. My Rating: 4.5

03. Ke$ha “We R Who We R (Fred Falke Radio Edit)”

>>> Tha music’s pretty tight when tha beat comes in in tha chorus. This song was poppin’ in tha beginning of this year but because it was hotter when 2010 ended, I didn’t wanna take tha chance to play this and then, it die. Now that there’s a remix, this helps. As always, a catchy song from Ke$h once again! Interestin’ dat tha mix iz long, too. My Rating: 4.2

04. Matt Darey & Aeron Aether Feat. Ridgewalkers “Chasing The Sun (D-Mad vs. Matt Darey Radio Edit)”

I actually found tha radio edit earlier in tha month/late last month on YT. As for tha song, I listened to it on MCD without seein’ tha ID and it sounded like a hotter-than-typical Dance song. Tha vocals sound real hot and tha lyrics are tight, too. It almost reminds me of tha vocals from Darude “In The Darkness” a lil’ bit. After tha 2^nd chorus, it sounds like it ends so fast; thought it would be a lil’ longer. My Current Rating: 4.0

05. Get-Far Feat. Vaanya Diva “Free (Get-Far & Paolo Sandrini Radio Edit)”

Another HOT song! Made sure I got it before January ended; gotta stay on time! Yea, tha beat’s hot; gotta trust GF on tha songs. This vocalist ain’t sourced but H-Boogie’s voice iz really easy to tell; they’re both black, though. My Current Rating: 4.2

06. Kristina Maria “Let’s Play (Smash Mode Radio Mix)”

Pretty HOT ID but unknown label (LupoOne) makes it look Dance for me, even though tha mix sometimes ain’t Danceish. >>> Sounds like tha music iz givin’ me more attention than tha vocals. Tha vocals do sound HM and even that chorus does; soundin’ hotter and hotter! Nice and short, too! I was tellin’ my gurl at college: I feel like I’m so time-consumed wit everything—can’t even take tha time to listen to music or add it much, anymore. :( I really don’t want my playlists decreasing in quality; I just gotta stop fallin’ behind wit things. My Rating: 4.4

07. Taio Cruz Feat. Kylie Minogue & Travie McCoy “Higher (Jody Den Broeder Radio Edit)”

I like tha original and have been holdin’ off on it to see what this remix sounds like. MCD has tha version wit just Kylie Minogue, which I rather just prefer tha original-‘riginal, lol. Let’s see if this remix does anything. >>> Of course, tha hot start but can it last? LOL, didn’t realize TMcCoy was in tha beginning; thought he was later. It sounded pretty-good ta hear him. Now, tha vocals sound better combined here than on tha original beat when Kylie’s on it. LOL, Kylie’s line: “I got this high without takin’ a pill;” like it. Oh, more Travie—I knew he had more, lol. It fits good, in my opinion. You know I like fast rappin’ on a fast beat. Glad to see JDB gettin’ a lil’ better at mixin’ here and there! My Rating: 4.1

08. Kim Sozzi Feat. Jump Smokers “Rated R (Jump Smokers Remix Radio Edit)”

MCD always plays this! LOL, I remember when my boy Al said, “she sounds so cheesy,” at times. Now, it’s “R”-rated, lol. For me, I would say it’s okay. I’m feelin’ her cockiness in tha lyrics (e.g., “your love’s PG-13 and my love’s ‘rated R’). Yea, tha RE (original) sounds like Lady GaGa; people need to stick to their roots, not tha GaGa evolution when it comes ta Dance artists! ROFL @ tha Jump Smokers part; very catchy wit how they spit shit on here! SMH @ PO editing out “hell”; what tha hell, lol? Not even a “PO Clean Edit” in tha ID, too. Even though I bash on tha word “swag”, they had a bunch of shit I gotta quote: “You messin’ wit a Jump Smoker; one false move and this game iz ova!” :tu Then, they quote Jay-Z, lol, wit “’Big Pimpin’’ like my name was Hova;” how random for a Kim Sozzi song, lol! Very catchy, although I don’t play this that much, regardless of how behind I am wit spins. My Current Rating: 4.0

09. Ladytron “Ace Of Hz (Tiёsto Remix Radio Edit)”

LOL, you know a PO’s good when I see shit like this and my heart starts movin’!! Actually, MCE got this mix (along wit another one); what, iz MCD scared? Of course, luv tha concept, lyrics, remix beat, and catchy-ass vocals! Nothin’ but “A”s here! Glad PO showin’ some luv to Ladytron; been followin’ them since ’04 thanx to MCE! Because I have gotten tha original before this, I think this iz goin’ to top my next playlist; I play it quite a lot. Gotta feel dat line: “tha bombs that cannot be defused by your charge!” :tu Shout out to my college radio station for pickin’ up tha original and featurin’ that they play it on their website! My Current Rating: 4.6

10. Sultan & Ned Shepard Feat. Nadia Ali “Call My Name”

MCD just got this today! They REALLY added a bunch of good shit this week from “Closer To Love” to “My Story” and a bunch of songs that are Dance that are NOT hidden in tha “late night” rotation that’s complete bullshit! Sounded good, so lemme give it a review! >>> Sounds hot on tha music and tha lyrics are pretty hot wit NA and her hotness! Tha beginning beat almost builds up like “Seek Bromance”, lol. Usually, this iz tha CD that defines tha year right; glad there’s a bunch of hot-soundin’ songs throughout this! Sounded like tha song went by so quick (since tha chorus keeps goin’ and goin’ throughout tha end). My Rating: 4.3

½time: I know a good CD when I hear one; a great one, like dis, when I hear one!! Wit a 4.3 CD rating, this iz DEFINITELY fulla hot music!! You know I hope tha excitement continues!!!

11. Britney Spears “Hold It Against Me”

Yea, I thought this would be tha 1^st song, too; at least J Lo got tha #1 spot and made my best non-Dance start! I still think it’s sad that this iz tha fastest song; all borderline songs are becomin’ tha fastest on every CD. Wit Dubstep, I think I heard some of it, even my brother I think follows it. When hearin’ tha term, I consider it more MCE than MCD. My Current Rating: 4.1

12. Gabry Ponte Feat. Maya Days “Sexy DJ (In Da Club)”

It’s lookin’ like a low AL vs. urban feel (wit only 123 BPM)? Tha Maya in tha feature gives me AL, though. Also note that if this song hits a 4.0 or higher wit my rating, then, it ties tha 9/10 issue wit most 4.0’s in a row! >>> Tha beat sounds like some MCE shit; think I’ll catch on to this. Oh, tha chorus sounds like a baby rhyme or somethin’ but hot wit tha beat/way tha vocals are delivered for some reason. ROFL, she talkin’ ‘bout an “X-Box,” lol. Funny how this iz after Britney; they should be played together… on Pop stations only, lol. This seems a lil’ longer; could’ve been a lil’ short like “Let’s Play” that was on here. Still, it qualifies for me. It now reminds me of somethin’ I’d hear at Age 13 and be like, “OMG! I luv that!! Just heard it on tha radio and I’m waiting to tape it,” lol!! My Rating: 4.1

13. Tinie Tempah Feat. Eric Turner & Taio Cruz “Written In The Stars (Arcade Eastside Remix Radio Edit)”

When you said all tha “anti-Rap” shit, I was like, “lol, there’s a full-Rap song on here?” Then, I thought about it and remembered that this was it. I didn’t think it was TC on tha chorus; thought it was someone else. When hearin’ tha original, I originally thought this was one of those typical Rap songs that sound like songs tryna go Pop and sell out that I would ignore. But, because it’s TT (catchy-ass dude from “Miami 2 Ibiza”), it gives me AL for a chance. How will this remix do? Will it be Dance-soundin’? Lemme hear! >>> Not too bad but I don’t think it’s Taio on tha hook; I think PO got too confused. ROFL, sounds like Tinie has a lotta shit ta offer and this mix sounds good on tha chorus—that’s a saver, and now, sets a record for most 4.0’s in a row! Now that I hear tha 2^nd verse clearly, it sounds tight! It sounded like Tinie’s voice went US or somethin’ ‘cause it doesn’t sound like dat UK voice that I heard a few months ago, for some reason. On tha 2^nd ½ of tha 2^nd verse, it now sounds like Taio Cruz. I just googled tha feature and it’s Eric Turner, whoever that singer iz; that’s correct! I know most artists these dayz grab random singers to be on their songs; it’s like tha increase of one-hit-wonders, though, lol. LOL, I dunno what it iz but when hearin’ Tinie Tempah, I feel like it’s my best friend or somethin’, lol! My Rating: 4.3

14. Antoine Clamaran Feat. Soraya “Live Your Dreams”

LOL, Next Plateau on tha signin’ again! I guess this iz new unlike “Gold” so maybe, NP knew what they were doin’ on an early schedule! Some hot vocals here? Then, my AL should be pretty high! >>> Tha music sounds hot and tha vocals increase my AL here and there! I think this iz tha 1^st original-produced song I’m hearin’ from AC and it’s really soundin’ hot!! Tha other songs had mixes to them, which didn’t really get me to hear what AC sounded like. Since MCD luved “Gold”, they should get this—like, now, since they got a bunch of other songs! My Rating: 4.3

15. Nicko “Last Summer (Rivaz Club Edit)”

LOL, I’d add MCD to that list—they PO’d and went wit this mix, too. Haven’t paid attention to it, so this’ll be tha official review for it. Rivaz—haven’t heard their name since Da Groove Doctors song from three years ago, which was tha only time I saw them. >>> It’s off to a decent start; tha vocals help a lil’ bit. This beat-sound iz, like, tha typical sound that most Dance producers come wit, which iz gettin’ played out. Tha beat after tha chorus iz pretty nice. LOL @ all those “Summer” parts. Tha 2^nd verse sounds better here and makes me think good of MCD for pickin’ up another Dance song. My Rating: 4.2

16. Chicco Secci “Tarantella (Chico Secci Hurricane Radio Edit)”

Al told me this has some Italo in it, mixed wit predictions of tha next “WNSAmericano”, lol? Then, I have some pretty-nice AL for this, especially wit 2:36 on tha length!! >>> Interestin’ that we’re gettin’ tha no-word songs back! It seemed boring without ‘em! LOL, it switched up at 1:11; now, tha music sounds familiar, lol! Good that Ultra signed this, too; hope people pay attention to it! Sounds real interestin’ wit that sound before and after tha “Tarantella” sample; just makes you pay attention! My Rating: 4.4

17. Angelica Salem “Knockoff (Smash Mode Radio Edit)”

LOL, MCD got this and I went nuts in different ways, lol! Different soundin’ fa SM on tha mix; feelin’ tha faster vibe! So many things I gotta say about this song! LOL @ tha “whateva;” feelin’ dat! Tha attitude iz tight, too! Tha original version of this song featured rapper Lil’ Kim and when I was tryin’ to find this RE, I learned about this song. Lil’ Kim has a problem (or vice-versa) wit this new rapper Nicki Minaj, who I’m not too crazy about. They would fire wit their own diss-songs at each other but to hear a new artist like this AS to be tha main artist, it sounds like it took balls or somethin’, lol! Hope Angelica doesn’t get her ass kicked, lol. I like her “pretendo” part; almost thought it was Nintendo, lol! My Current Rating: 4.5

18. Justin Michael & Kemal Feat. Heather Bright “Trouble”

I wasn’t really expectin’ them to be “one-Dance-wonders” after that other song seemed like it was catchin’ onto people. They did some remixes, too, last year, even though I wasn’t too crazy about them. 19. Tiffany Evans “I’ll Be There (WaWa Remix)”

Actually, tha 1^st place she came from was KTU in 2004. She was 12 years-old and she had such a real great voice that prolly was one of tha best-soundin’ R&B songs of that time that no one but KTU played. Too bad when she added a Dance beat in 2007, she somewhat became a “one-hit-wonder” (“Promise Ring”); wasn’t too crazy about that song. Even though I didn’t pay too much attention to this new song, I know WaWa usually does tha job; let’s see! >>> Yea, it’s okay for everything; even sounds like a remake of a Mariah Carey song (only tha “I’ll be there” part). Damn, she’s not even 20, yet; she’s been around for quite some time, now. Because this CD has been givin’ me good vibes, I’ll qualify this for tha 4.0, even though I think this’ll be last in a tie-breaker. Still, I trust tha last two songs! My Rating: 4.0

20. Serge Devant Feat. Hadley “Ghost”

Thought it was Haley on tha vocals but it’s tha same one from “Addicted”, I believe. Let’s keep tha consistency alive!! >>> Tha beat’s aight but I’m feelin’ tha lyrics and vocals as tha beat grows, too! Tha song just gets hotter and hotter; gotta luv it! Even tha length iz pretty good for a longer song; good shit! My Rating: 4.3

21. One Call “BlackLight (Kovas Remix Radio Edit)”

Had a high AL for tha title, mix artist (unknown—I think—to me) and long, 4:40 length. But, Jive Records? 124 BPM? That’s one of tha biggest record labels (e.g., Britney, Justin Timberlake, etc.); hope it doesn’t fuck up anything… We’re on tha way for a 5-star rated PO CD!!! >>> Oh shit, I’m recognizin’ this. Speakin’ of Justin and them, I remember this bein’ a Pop song wit a Dance beat, like it was tryna bring back tha ‘90s or somethin’. I would’ve neva pictured thinkin’ about this song or anything but I neva knew who tha artist was. This doesn’t sound too Dancey for a beat but it’s still catchy. At least tha chorus gives a good vibe, here; feelin’ tha energy, lol! LOL, at 3:30, it sounds like a jack from Swedish House Mafia wit their “One (Your Name)”, lol. This song kept me a lil’ interested and tha mood I have had wit this CD iz definitely nice! My Rating: 4.0

Overall: LOL, thought it would neva be done but, it did!! A 5-star-rated PO!!!!! That’s huge news!!! Even though most of my scores weren’t in tha shocking level, it still means I luved tha whole CD! I hope I’ll make a first by playin’ every song on this CD, too! I think tha April 2008 came tha closest, where I played either 19 or 20 of 22 songs! LOL, to add: I just walked outside, without a coat on, and it feels warm out, lol!! Best believe it goes wit this CD!!!

This CD didn’t seem too borderline for me, luckily. I think tha strength on tha Dance songs helped it. I hope we keep tha imports comin’; need to sound more euro, more Romanian, and hopefully, we can get those fast Trance tracks back, too! Hopefully, tha Poppy shit fades down, too! They can keep their Dance ways but not to mix into tha Dance world in a weird way! It seems like MCE or my college station doesn’t delay wit gettin’ their music. Tinie Temp would’ve been a lil’ imported (since he’s from tha UK).
