Promo Only: Dance Radio October 2011; it’s time!! Lots of fresh new music that I’m lookin’ forward to, early style! Start Time: 10:04 PM | End Time: 11:56 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Chris Willis “Too Much In Love (Valentin Radio Edit)”

Looks like a good mix start, although my AL iz low. MCD got WaWa’s mix, which I’m startin’ to think WaWa’s startin’ to be a hit-or-miss mixer, when they previously were one of my favorite, thanx to “Heartbroken”… >>> Sounds like a weird version of Valentin in tha beginning…? What tha hell; iz this like Jimi Hendrix or Led Zeppelin or somethin’ wit tha beat? Don’t need any feedback, here, although it might make ignore rotation for me, where I might play it once or twice. My Rating: 2.6

02. Kim Leoni “Around & Around”

More like this! A lil’ on tha dirty side? Lemme see, wit some sky-high AL!! >>> Almost sounds like pop in tha beginning, but it’s not turnin’ me off like Chris Willis’s song/mix! At least this has tha true dance in its sound during tha chorus; pretty catchy, Ms. Kim! Sounds like tha same producers from “Again”/”Medicine”? Didn’t catch tha content warning; guess I was too excited to hear this, lol? Pretty-good job… My Rating: 4.3

03. Calvin Harris “Feel So Close”

For some reason, I’m lookin’ forward… I guess it’s tha 33-second intro? >>> Thirty-three seconds my ass? PO doesn’t usually do this; zero-second intro! Not really into tha scary vocal start but at least there’s a dance beat! I liked “I’m Not Alone”’s scaryness but not too much into it, here; at least tha beat gives me some points… My Rating: 3.7

04. Jennifer Lopez “Papi (R3hab Radio Edit)”

Likin’ tha Mixin’ Marc & Tony Svejda mix on MCD. Only a few dayz out, some rapper I talk to in Baton Rouge, Louisiana called me and this song was in tha background of theirs, lol? Guess it’s out there, even though only MCD has it? Funny…; lookin’ forward to hearin’ a R3hab mix on PO! >>> Nice beat goin’ on, here, for HM. Plus one for WG “’Til Death” remix; plus two for CH/Kelis “Bounce” remix! Wasn’t sure what was gonna happen once tha beat got quiet but it’s tha typical increase of tha beat for R3hab goin’ on, here, in tha chorus! Nice/interestin’ breakdown after tha chorus; good job, R3hab! Think this remix surpasses MM&TS’s for me! My Rating: 4.3

05. Bingo Players “Cry (Just A Little)”

Liked their “Touch Me” lil’ House song wit Chocolate Puma three years ago, even though I had it in ignored rotation. Just by lookin’ at tha title, tell me this iz a remake of Faith Hill’s song, lol? I will LMFAO, just like tha “Party Rock Anthem” on MCD right now, lol!! >>> Doesn’t sound like it but it sounds like a remake of somethin’ else, which I’m feelin’ tha start; hope it progresses! Nice, repetitive House music goin’ on, here; good for Fall and tha end of 2011! At least you get some good music parts, here and there. My Rating: 4.2

06. David Guetta Feat. Usher “Without You”

More like FML (fuck my life)! My Rating: 1.5

07. Anjulie “Brand New Chick”

You know it’s danger when tha mix iz “Clean Radio Edit”, smh. I guess she’s goin’ from sweet, unknown pop singer to tryna-have-an-original-dance-soundin’-song singer? Tha next Livvi Franc “NITB”? >>> Liked tha d5 lil’ start in tha beginning; she sounds a lil’ grown from tha ’09 dayz when I first heard her… I like tha sexy lyrics, here and there, lol. Likin’ tha beat goin’ on in tha chorus; don’t think pop stations’ll play this, though. It doesn’t sound like a crossover song for her but I know MCD likes her; watch them get this original version soon, lol. My Rating: 3.9

08. Medina “Gutter”

On tha slower side? Must be one of those GaGa/Ke$ha-soundin’ songs, since it has 120 BPM? You know I’m lookin’ forward! Hope I get addicted, lol! >>> Sounds like space in tha beginning, lol! LOL, even though it sounds like a slower version of “Addiction”, it at least has that pure dance sound! Interestin’ content, as well as tha good beat, too, Medina! LOL, even tha 2^nd chorus has a build up in tha beat, just like “Addiction” had! Kinda slow, but I know it’ll grow, just like “Addiction” did for me. My Rating: 4.1

09. Adele “Someone Like You (Mike Rizzo Radio Mix)”

L…………o……………l………….; I think KTU got it, since I heard tha dance sounds in their mix. >>> Even though MR’s on tha mix, I dunno how much I like this ballad from her. Thumbs up for tha true Rizzo sound on tha chorus, although it’s only decent for me, overall. I still can’t figure out how “RITD” blew up and iz still playin’ frequently, nine months later, lol? My Rating: 3.5

10. September “Party In My Head”

LOL, Robbins wit another content warning song from another artist that doesn’t bring explicit lyrics, lol? Funny, yet anticipatin’, lol! >>> Could be tha best one on here, so far? Of course, she comes through wit that pure dance sound, as always! It’s like an on tha street/in tha club representation, which I’m likin’. LOL, for tha past 11 years, I’ve had a “party in my head,” as music plays in my head 24/7, unless I’m listening to music, lol! Didn’t catch tha content warning, again; PO, what’s up, lol? My Rating: 4.4

½time: Even though DG & Usher dropped my average rating, I think this iz a pretty good/decent CD, so far. Haven’t hit tha 2^nd ½, yet, but tha CD rating for me iz a 3.7, currently.

11. Lady GaGa “Yoü And I (Mark Taylor Remix)”

Not really big about this one; will a remix help? >>> Guess not; sounds poppy? Think KTU got this mix, too? What tha hell; does this sound like a country song, lol? That’s what it reminds me of… PO, at least get a known dance remixer for GaGa! I don’t think there’s any really-known remixers for this song, yet, RE wise. My Rating: 2.8

12. Anita Prime “Complicated (Gomi Radio Remix)”

A new female and new label, wit a remixer that’s, like, never here… I only know tha remixer from Rent’s “Seasons Of Love” (February ’06 PO) and maybe somethin’ else. But, how will this go, ’11 style? >>> So far, decent start; not sure what to make outta it… Ooh, she’s spellin’ tha title out; sounds good. Could sound like a HM song that wants to break into tha dance world; that’s what I’ll consider it as. Ooh, more spellin’ of tha title, lol; guess I can’t avoid hearin’ tha title, lol? Not even ½ way in and I feel like I’m gonna get bored fast… My Rating: 3.6

13. Lil’ Wayne “How To Love (Smash Mode Radio Edit)”

Even though tha original iz completely gross for me to handle, will a 133 BPM mix by SM help? >>> Not too bad for tha remix beat, but because Wayne lovessssssssssss using that gay-ass soundin’ Auto-Tune, it makes his voice so fucked up, to where I wanna throw up! I “love” how people online say things like, “it’s cool that Wayne’s doin’ a different-soundin’ song.” For me, I think it’s so gross. At least “Lollipop” had good times, but this iz too poppy/slimy… that’s right: slimy, lol! Damn, this went quick. Overall, still not for me; don’t even think I’ll ever play or might barely make it to ignored rotation. My Rating: 2.3

14. Chuckie Feat. Gregor Salto “What Happens In Vegas”

DJ Chuckie? Iz it…? Teamin’ up wit tha “Step By Step” featured DJ? Tha #1 dance label of tha year signin’ it (Big Beat) so it has to get out there, no matter what it sounds like! >>> Sounds like it could be scary dance music, based off tha beginning, lol. LOL, cliché title but now, it’s soundin’ more on a tight level. Maybe this iz DJ Chuckie ‘cause of tha sounds? I know I thought “Let The Bass Kick” was cheesy but it’s these newer-soundin’ songs that are catchin’ my attention. Sounds like a tight House song wit tha consistent beat; yes, get out there! Big Beat, you promoted tha shit outta “Diamonds In The Sky” on MCD for me; I’m sure you can do good wit this one! LOL, I feel like I don’t want this song to end; nice consistency to tha end! My Rating: 4.5

15. Jason Derülo “It Girl (Riddler Remix Radio)”

A ‘yawn’ artist for me. I feel like some artists are kinda done after tha first album. After stealin’ Robin S’s “Show Me Love” beat for his previous song (“Don’t Wanna Go Home”, which was decent, but of course, I ignored), how will he do wit this “it” song, lol? >>> Likin’ tha beginning beat start; slow Riddler beat but at least it’s a hot remixer on tha mix! Yea, not feelin’ tha random popness from JD, here; sped-up vocals on a slow remix beat, lol? Weird combo. So not feelin’ this content and how it’s delivered; what ever happened to a catchy pop song, smh? My Rating: 2.5

16. Adrian Lux Feat. Rebecca & Fiona “Boy”

Actually, AL came up wit “Teenage Crime” before Weekend Warriors had tha song/mix on tha March ’11 PO, which I thought was interestin’. Tha “Mirrors” mix was pretty good so let’s see how a brand-new (I think) song will turn out! >>> Decent beat that sounds like it could be consistent, mixed wit some interestin’ vocals goin’ on! LOL, did I hear a horn before tha chorus? Tha horn sounds exactly like one of tha typical beat tags for Sean Kingston, Iyaz, and of course, Jason Derulo, lol; interestin’ jackin’, lol! But, tha chorus iz pretty hot wit tha better-soundin’ beat and those vocals continuin’! Likin’ tha “ice” and “courage” part; sounds like a dance song that shouldn’t get ignored. My Rating: 4.1

17. The Script “Nothing (Riddler Radio Edit)”

Tha fastest one on this PO, even though it had to be a pop artist… If tha JD remix beat was hot, I hope this iz for 134! >>> Anotha hot beat but I hope tha song’s good for me… Sounds like an okay song but because this artist was so big on pop stations wit “Breakeven” and even on adult-contemp stations, I don’t think I should take this song so serious… My Rating: 3.0

18. Vato Gonzalez Feat. Foreign Beggars “Badman Riddim (Jump)”

Dancehall/Reggae title, lol? Ministry Of Sound signin’? Looks like we got a funny combo… >>> LOL, sounds like Dancehall tryin’ to break into tha Dance world. LOL, thought it was gonna be House but it’s on a rap tip, which sounds good on this beat. This iz better than tha sucky shit from tha August CD. I know MCD might go crazy over this, lol; I know how they get, lol! I like how tha rappers are alternatin’ between tha ½ verses; good, consistent rhymin’ wit this tight beat for tha dancehall world, lol! My Rating: 4.0

19. Stellar Project Feat. Emelie Norenberg “Strong”

Looks like a really high AL! Hope they didn’t go tha 2010s dance route and keep that great sound like in “Get Up Stand Up”! Definitely lookin’ forward to hearin’!!! >>> Likin’ this new sound in tha beat; AL iz up and alive! Feelin’ these vocals, too! Glad SP have tha name “stellar” in their name; seems ta prove what they’re about! Ooh, hot chorus; feelin’ tha “strong” approach! Feelin’ tha bridge wit those hot vocals!! :tu Whoo! Glad it’s called “strong” ‘cause it was “strong” enough to take tha lead, so far! My Rating: 4.6

20. Foster The People “Pumped Up Kicks (Gigamesh Mix)”

This has to be tha #1 artist on my college station and now, one of tha biggest songs on pop radio. I went through my college’s log of songs (‘cause there was an uncensored song on there) and I saw this artist almost everyday, at tha beginning of tha day’s log. MCE has this mix and I didn’t think I’d see it on PO; I think it sounds good to be on here! I feel that this sounds like a classic-soundin’ pop song, although I have a feelin’ they’ll be a one-hit-wonder ‘cause this song took off outta nowhere. My Current Rating: 4.2

21. John Dahlback Feat. Erik Hassle “One Last Ride”

Don’t know what to expect wit this one, but Big Beat signed it! Looks like it could be a great ending song? >>> Sounds like some unknown, R&B vocals in tha beginning? I dunno how great I’ll take this IC. Tha beat gets good at 1:11 but it doesn’t sound like it would have any life… Hope somebody picks up tha “Vegas” song (#14) before this or else I’ll prolly get mad, lol! My Rating: 3.7

Overall: Ehh, I dunno… I didn’t think this was tha best of a PO; way too many HMs that mostly sucked…

Nice and early! Even though I don’t have that much AL, I think this’ll be semi-good, semi-ehh… Here’s my review for Promo Only: Dance Radio September 2011! Start Time: 9:32 PM | End Time: 11:40 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Nicole Scherzinger “Don’t Hold Your Breath (Kaskade Radio Edit)”

Startin’ it off wit a Pussycat Doll… Not too familiar wit this song so let’s see what’s up. >>> Wasn’t anticipatin’ this too much, includin’ some of tha beginning wit tha chorus, but I’m hearin’ a pretty-good-soundin’ Kaskade beat, now. Not too bad, overall, although, it has a pretty-nice mix from Kaskade. My Rating: 3.6

02. Jessica Sutta “Show Me (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

LOL, anotha Pussycat Doll, back to back? She’s more in tha Dance world, thanx to her “White Lies” collaboration four years ago. Just decent for tha Alex Gaudino/Jason Rooney mix on MCD, so let’s see how DA’ll sound. >>> She sounds completely different wit tha voice from “White Lies”; I prolly do, too, thanx to so much happenin’ in four years. As far as this mix, it’s soundin’ better; not bad of a song, overall. Thought this would be a better song and more of an anthem, but it’s only decent, for me. My Rating: 3.7

03. Armin Van Buuren Feat. Nadia Ali “Feels So Good”

From two PCDs to two big dance artists; definitely lookin’ forward to hearin’ this one!! >>> Hot start wit okay music, although it’s all about tha voice, right now! Kinda expect a lil’ better wit tha music but this iz easily a turn-on, regardless. Not too bad wit tha chorus, but there should be a lil’ more excitement goin’ on, here… Picks up a lil’ at 2:07, at least… My Rating: 4.1

04. Nervo Feat. Afrojack & Steve Aoki “We’re All No One”

After tha mix of “Dust In Gravity”, let’s see what he has to offer. >>> Quick/plain beat start and some vocals that sound like a young Nadia Ali, a lil’ (lol @ all tha doubles)! Sounds cool once tha chorus comes on; givin’ this one a plus… Definitely some fresh, new music, here! Really into these vocals and lyrics, at tha moment! My Rating: 4.2

05. Leona Lewis “Collide (Alex Gaudino & Jason Rooney Radio Edit)”

Been a minute since she had a song/remix; let’s see how Fall 2011 looks for her… >>> Feelin’ tha remix beat start, of course. Ooh, she sounds a lil’ grown-up, too! LOL, I read online that she’s done wit ballads, and might have a lil’ dubstep in her music, lol? Can’t picture it ‘cause she always has slow songs. But yea, once tha chorus comes on, it sounds top notch, between tha beat, vocals, and lyrics!! :tu Good length, too, as it’s good enough for all tha hotness to stay hot! My Rating: 4.3

06. Neon Hitch “Bad Dog (DJ Chuckie Radio Edit)”

Looks like another HM wit tha label (Reprise); odd, fluctuatin’ AL wit this one. >>> Ooh, semi-young, interestin’ female vocals, here; looks like some increasin’ AL for me. Feelin’ tha dirty “animal”-type lyrics, lol; interestin’ song, overall. LOL, sounds like lasers bein’ fired at you @ 1:08! Feelin’ like a long song, I’m likin’ tha bridge at 2:58 wit tha “poison you” shit; lots of interestin’ stayin’ alive, here! My Rating: 4.4

07. JLS Feat. Dev “She Makes Me Wanna (Nay Ray Radio Edit)”

Fuck puttin’ all tha “clean” in tha ID… Speakin’ of Dev, I’ll get to her later when I bash on tha Pitbull song. Looks like it gon be a HM anthem? Lemme hear… >>> Damn, another Calvin Harris “I’m Not Alone” sample in tha beginning? This must be tha 4^th song wit that sample… Not really feelin’ these 2010s-type male vocals, although, I kinda fall for tha “I’m Not Alone” sample. Tha chorus sounds a lil’ like Swedish House Mafia, in a somewhat-tight way; this might turn out to be a positive review, overall. Damn, I can’t stop fallin’ for that beat! LOL, tha beat went all quiet once Dev jumped onto tha song… My Rating: 4.3

08. Maroon 5 Feat. Christina Aguilera “Moves Like Jagger (Soul Seekerz Radio Edit)”

Wow, another HM! Only two actual dance songs outta eight, so far! But, even this original version’s tryna sound like a dance song! Tha orig’s in heavy rotation up here, in PA, and when it’s on in my mom’s car, it sounds like a dance floor, lol. I’m feelin’ tha original, so you know a remix from SS gon be nice! >>> Different dance sound from tha original, here; likin’ tha different style! Could’ve had a lil’ better music wit tha chorus, but this iz still great for a remix! Interestin’ collaboration and somewhat-funny song wit that title, for me, lol. My Rating: 4.0

09. Kaskade Feat. Mindy Gledhill “Eyes”

MCD just got and it sounds pretty good, from what I heard. Lemme give it an actual listen and review now. >>> Of course, feelin’ these really good/soothin’ vocals… Sounds like a lot of slowly, buildin’-up music once tha chorus iz in progress, which sounds good… and here we are, at 1:53! Really likin’ that music and all this continuousness goin’ on! I think this deserves a high rating ‘cause of tha hotness! My Rating: 4.5

10. Skylar Grey “Invisible (Kaskade Radio Edit)”

LOL, another Kaskade, but damn, my current single’s title! My “Invisible”’s about how people don’t acknowledge me, mainly in person, which I feel that I earned my “invisibility” from someone introducing a new girl to tha room, which tha person said everyone’s name but mine. Ugh, anger! :td How “invisible” will this HM hit-maker (lol, double HM) feel? >>> For somethin’ long, it seems like I’m gonna anticipate it wit this Kaskade beat! Wow, startin’ off wit takin’ “pillz,” lol! Jiggalatin’ (pill poppin’) her way through “invisible” feelings! Thought tha 1^st song on this edition was aight. Then, “Eyes”, with its hot, dance feel! Now, tha hotness of a feel for a HM; good job, Kaskade! Even though she’s a HM lady (featured on P. Diddy’s group, Diddy – Dirty Money from tha April ’11 CD and Dr. Dre & Eminem’s song from earlier in tha year), she sounds like she has a dance voice, here! Really feelin’ tha beat sounds throughout tha verses; hope it gets some exposure in both tha dance and pop world! I can really “feel” tha lyrics, here, as I say, “why am I invisible? … Why am I treated invisible?” She sounds soft, here, but I’m all about that anger, wit how people could just pass me up! My Rating: 4.3

½time: 3/10 songs were dance, but this iz a pretty hot CD, so far! A 4.1 for tha CD rating, and no wack songs!

11. The Wanted “Glad You Came (Alex Gaudino Radio Edit)”

Time flies to think that there’s a new single from these guys, already. >>> Sounds pretty hot, of course, thanx to AG on tha mix! Not too bad on tha 1^st verse, although, it prolly would’ve sounded better if it was just a house mix. My Rating: 4.2

12. D’Manti Feat. Mr. Phillips “Tonight (Smash Mode Radio Edit)”

Unknown label, finally! Think we friggin’ have another dance song, lol? >>> LOL, sounded like some scary Jamaican vocals in tha beginning but ooh, I hear a hot gurl on tha verse! :) Unique-soundin’ combination of vocals and SM beats, here! Sounds like a song that would do pretty damn good wit me. LOL, kinda remindin’ me of tha instant “Lick Shot” vocals (Sunrise Inc./Starchild) wit that Jamaican dude, which sounds like an interestin’ combo! Even a lil’ extra rap from tha Jamaican dude, too; not too bad. If this gets out there, this could be tha next, new Dance/Euro or Pop-soundin’ artist to get out there! My Rating: 4.4

13. Sted-E & Hybrid Heights Feat. D.O.S.E. “Up N Down”

Their own song? Mysterious feeling… >>> Now, there’s no low AL wit tha Sylvia Tosun mix or tha Ron Reeser/Dan Saenz mix; it’s their own song wit a nice intro! LOL, how random: rappin’ outta nowhere! It’s actually much better than tha wack dance/rap shit that was on tha previous PO! Not too bad for a beat; at least there’s some hot sounds, here. Thought there would only be one verse but there’s a second one; not too bad… LOL, not even a content warning; that’s unusual for raps on PODR. My Rating: 4.2

14. William Naraine “If I Could Fall (Vincenzo Callea Radio Edit)”

A lil’ bit of Flanders on tha mix, here; could be tha next Flanders-soundin’ song? Lemme see what this gon be like. >>> Had to be prepared for tha vocals, at least; not too bad, although, they sound like Sir Ivan (who you usually think iz Disney or garbage, lol). But, I can easily tolerate this; hot combo for tha chorus wit tha music and how tha vocals sound! Tha music after tha chorus ain’t too bad, either; good, catchiness… Startin’ ta feel tha breakdown music a lil’ more after tha 2^nd chorus; whoo! My Rating: 4.2

15. Katy Perry “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) (8Barz Remix Edit)”

What a way to go downhill… I thought tha dance was startin’ ta pick up! I’m sayin’ this wit annoyance ‘cause I’ve had tha Almighty mixshow mix—that MCD has been playin’ a lot—since May; it took this long for a RE to come out? A different mix, too? >>> Damn, I hear tha original beats. :( Oh, now, it turned into some typical, deadmau5/Morgan Page-type music on tha verse, a lil’…; yea, like this music really fits for this song! Shitty mix, especially when I’m hearin’ tha original version’s beats, here and there. Another way of sayin’, “Summer’s over,” smh! LOL, no content warning, here, too; I know PO nails those “damn”s pretty good, smh. This mix should just stay in tha mixshows… My Rating: 2.9

16. Swedish House Mafia Feat. John Martin “Save The World (Smash Mode Remix Radio)”

This, too. LOL, I was in some deli wit my grandma, and whatever station they had on played tha original version of this song (which iz dance-y), lol. I think I tried to IC it by hearin’ this mix on YT, but don’t think it was any better; lemme see if my thoughts are correct. >>> Actually, tha beat’s pretty hot but not really SM for me, nor does it fit wit tha song, itself, kinda… Mainly, tha beat ‘round 1:22; what tha hell iz that, lol? I guess this iz acceptable for a remix, although it seems kinda old and played-out of an original version to be on here, September style. My Rating: 3.2

17. Dave Audé Feat. Elijah “Holdin’ On (Alex Armes Radio Mix)”

A year later, back in tha #17 spot, lol (since September ’10 had “Figure It Out” in their #17 slot)! Forgot DA was on here as tha lead artist; lookin’ forward ta hearin’! >>> Long intro goin’ on, here; thumbs up, so far… Damn, a whole minute, lol! Thought it would be house, or just one line, but I’m hearin’ a verse, and it sounds like some catchy vocals, plus beat. Gettin’ pretty hot wit tha chorus, here; likin’ tha music a whole lot, and these vocals help tha catchiness increase! Yes, tha kick-ass music continues! Wit DA bein’ tha main artist, I was wonderin’ how someone else bein’ on tha mix would do, and it’s pretty damn good!! My Rating: 4.5

18. Pitbull Feat. Marc Anthony “Rain Over Me”

VH1’s 40 Funniest Fails; ironic that it was just on a few hours ago. I remember 10 years ago, when Marc Anthony would put a song out on KTU, and it was in tha top ½ of my countdown for a while. Now, tha hotness has tha same quality, although it doesn’t fit too good, here, especially in my 23-years-old-thinkin’ standards. I feel like this iz a lil’ cheesy wit tha combos (hot beat, catchy lyrics (I like all tha “___’s tha new ___”), but Pitbull appearin’ in tha dance world… again, and MA on tha feature?). Doesn’t really belong on here, and as I was sayin’ about Dev before, PO should’ve put her latest song, “In The Dark”, on here, instead; much hotter, wit a “Smoke” feel! My Current Rating: 3.4

19. Rev-Players Feat. Sophia Cruz “Tell Me”

‘Bout time another R-P song made PO! Back to tha doubles, since Stefanie “You Never Said You Loved Me (Rev-Players…)” was #19 on tha August ’08 issue, too, lol! Same BPM (134) but wit a kick-ass chick on tha feature (hottie from previous POs, most recently, that “Always Changing” from 6/11’s)! Tha moment I’ve been waiting for, so let’s see how hot, hot, hot, hot, hot this iz, no less as R-P as tha main artist!!!!! >>> Feelin’ tha hot beat, of course, wit that tech-house style from tha Stefanie song, still! SC sounds a touch different (almost like Sophia May) wit tha voice; hot combo! Yes, tha beat continues after tha chorus! Ooh, added beats wit added vocals from SC, too! Tha beat has some good, kick-ass addictiveness! LOL, some cheerin’ in tha mist, too; pretty hot! Sorry, Kaskade, I thought you were gonna have tha top spot, but I knew this song was comin’! My Rating: 4.7

20. Above & Beyond Feat. Richard Bedford “Thing Called Love”

Finally gettin’ tired of “S&M” (lol, not Rihanna; “Sun & Moon”); good “thing” they put out a new song! Keepin’ tha BPM tha same (double, again, as tha previous song on this CD, and “Sun & Moon” were both 134, lol), let’s see what tha “raining” and “pouring” gon lead to! >>> Good start; shouldn’t MCD be on this like crazy, already, lol? Whoo @ :30! Wonder if he was tha same singer for “Alone Tonight” back in’ 06 (EDIT: Yup, he iz)? Very hot chorus; think this iz better than “Sun & Moon”! Consistency at its finest, continuin’ all tha way through!! My Rating: 4.6

21. Miss AP Feat. Tony Hanson “Fenix” “Gotta Go Out (Friscia & Lamboy Radio Edit)”

Looks like a Crystal Waters label (Endorfin) for tha ending song! If it was any other song, I would’ve been like, “WTF?,” but Rev-Players twice iz hilarious; should’ve fucked up “Rain On Me”, instead, smh! Guess I’ll have to wait ‘til I get it. Or, lemme see if it’s online. *Checks* Damn, only iTunes; should I purposely buy it for $1.00? >>> Actually, tha sample’s 1:30 instead of :30. Oh, you’re not gonna like this wit all tha “shit” parts. Ooh, there’s a pretty hot beat goin’ on, here; feelin’ what’s goin’ on wit tha beats from F&L! This iz a plus for me, but nothin’ special for you, I’d assume. Seems like people are givin’ this AP (main artist) negative reviews on iTunes, like wit Kim Kardashian’s music, lol. Even though it was just a snippet, I’ll try to do a rating. My Rating: 4.3

EDIT: Just looked up more info on tha artist on Google and it’s Angelina Pivarnick from MTV’s Jersey Shore, lol; wonder how tha hook up wit tha Crystal Waters label came about, lol? LOL, and all tha mixes but this PO one’s uploaded on Lucas Prata’s YouTube? What’s wit all this randomness, lol; hilarious!

Overall: I thought this was an interestin’ and hot CD! Even though tha beginning was all fulla HMs, it still turned out ta be pretty tight, especially when tha dance songs kicked in!! Looks like a good Fall ‘bout ta come, although I’m not too pleased wit my classes: three hours, too much talking, and lots of reading? I thought I was in graduate classes dealin’ wit production, smh?

Two PO reviewz in one day, lol! Thinkin’ this one’s gonna be better than July’s! Here goes my review for ”Promo Only: Dance Radio August 2011”! Start Time: 9:10 PM | End Time: 10:54 PM

Disclaimer: I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! I don’t care how lyrical you are, as long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. 01. Britney Spears “I Wanna Go (Smash Mode Radio Remix)”

MCD, where are you? Get rid of tha orig.! I like tha orig. better than “Till The World Ends” but ignored tha orig. ‘cause of timing. Let’s see if I can like this remix a touch so I can make it rank higher than “TTWE” on my YEC! >>> Sounds like it can be good but I can’t appreciate it too much, guess ‘cause it’s Ms. Spears? I have to say that tha beat’s pretty hot, here, for a remix… Like how she says, “there’s a countdown waiting;” been like that for 11 years now, lol! My Rating: 3.7

02. Zoë Badwi “Accidents Happen (Liam Keegan Radio Edit)”

Really like tha original, despite it bein’ a ‘jinx-car’ song (“accidents” do “happen”, lol). Came on so many times on shuffle while I was drivin’ on Long Island, thinkin’, “lol!” How will this remix sound? Glad she’s gettin’ out there in a big way! >>> Soundin’ watered down; where’s tha hot music? Fuck, now my rating’s gonna look fucked up ‘cause of this mix bein’ on here! My Rating: 2.7

03. David Morales & Jonathan Mendelsohn “You Just Don’t Love Me”

This looks like it gon be big! A year after “Till Tonight”, we get… >>> Kinda a boring start fa me; where’s tha hyped-up vocals from tha “Till Tonight” dayz? Sounds a lil’ better on tha chorus; guess this’ll get a slight chance wit me now… Lyrics are soundin’ pretty catchy; decent song, overall. My Rating: 3.9

04. Mayra Verónica “Freak Like Me (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

Ooh, some hotness! WaWa mix iz what MCD plays at night and it sounds good. Hopefully, by havin’ an actual RE, this’ll sound like somethin’ good, too! >>> Already off to a hot start, based off tha first few seconds! Kinda a jinx that she has a new song out ‘cause I had to make a snippet video clip for some rapper in Louisiana, using pics of hot gurls, and I used MV’s pics. Then, this PO came, lol! Neva got ta hear tha lyrics on tha WaWa mix but now, hearin’ ‘em and they’re definitely hot! Ooh, that chorus wit tha “follow me, follow me!” :) Sounds a lil’ like tha “Naturally” mix, hence tha 132 BPM! Talk about hot-ass lyrics goin’ on throughout this song! LOL, right before tha final chorus, I heard an “uh” sound (tha sound before tha “Naturally” mix kicks in); very “Naturally”ish, lol! My Rating: 4.7

05. LMFAO Feat. Natalia Kills “Champagne Showers (Sidney Samson Radio Remix)”
>>> Started listening before I looked at tha ID; gay-soundin’ vocals? Oh, I hear tha title and now, I know what it iz. SS not really a Dance remixer; more MCE? Pretty catchy remix beat, here; definitely on a club tip! Actually, I’m startin’ ta feel tha Natalia Kills part on tha chorus now. My Rating: 3.8

06. Jump Jump Dance Dance “2.0 (Laidback Luke Radio Edit)”

Looks different on tha ID; hope tha label iz, too! *Checks label* Yea, label’s different; let tha AL pay off! >>> Pretty hot start; feelin’ these vocals wit this beat! Yes, hot part after tha chorus, “Step By Step” “2.0” style, lol! Feelin’ tha rest of this; nice type of song right here! My Rating: 4.3

07. Blush “Undivided (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

Reminds me of S.Blush from tha 3/07 PO! Hope this pays off for a 124 BPM mix and another new label, this time! >>> Damn, Selena Gomez mixes goin’ on here, again, hence tha BPM! Now, it sounds like DA’s mix of “Who Says”, lol! Sounds more like a HM and it’s mostly on tha decent side for me, currently. Tha good thing about this iz there’s no negativity I have for this song/mix, luckily; better than nothin’, lol. My Rating: 3.6

08. Rihanna “California King Bed (Bimbo Jones Radio Edit)”

Oh no…; doesn’t look too anticipatin’ for me… >>> Actually, sounds much better for a BJ mix; sounds pretty hot, even though I’ll not say much ‘cause it’s an okay Rihanna song. Pretty hot, overall; good job wit this unexpected combo! My Rating: 4.3

09. David Puentez “Melodrama”

Wit no mix and Next Plateau on tha signing, hopefully, it’s somethin’ pretty good! >>> Sounds like Calvin Harris “I’m Not Alone” keys in tha beginning; everyone samplin’ that song nowadayz? Tha title made me think it was gonna be Romanian but it’s pretty hot—lol, no words here! Not really much to say, here, ‘cept dat it’s great to have an instrumental song again! Damn, 3:46? A lil’ too long? My Rating: 4.0

10. Emilia De Poret “Weightless”

From no words and Next Plateau to Italian and NP’s next-door neighbors, Robbins? Let’s keep all tha successful combos comin’ along! >>> Sounds like some anticipation in tha beginning… A lil’ slow but sounds hot, overall; nice lyrics and vocals comin’ from this lady! This deserves to be an MCD song or somethin’! My Rating: 4.2

½time: 3.9 for tha CD rating, so far; looks like some hot ones here… that you can trust!

11. Life + Feat. Joel Pack “Till I Breathe (DJ Mog Radio Edit)”

Liking all these combinations goin’ on, here! Should be called “Promo Only: Combination Dance Radio August 2011”, lol! This should definitely be trusted wit Nervous on tha signing! >>> Uh oh, Auto-Tune male vocals… Kinda-good music for a smooth dance song but not my kinda vocals. Startin’ ta get a lil’ hot wit tha chorus and title part… My Rating: 3.6

12. Scarlett Santana Feat. C&C Music Factory “Rain (C&C Music Factory Best Friend Anthem Radio Edit)”

Looks like an ‘lol’? >>> Doesn’t sound too bad or discoish wit tha chorus, so far… Urban lyrics wit a good-soundin’ dance beat? Not too bad of a combo, overall. About at tha 3:00 mark, it’s startin’ ta get a lil’ boring wit all tha verse shit… My Rating: 3.5

13. Martin Solveig Feat. Kele “Ready 2 Go”

Time for a gay combo, lol! A lil’ “Hello” mixed wit a gay (yea, homosexual), black singer and you get this. LOL, this tha 1^st version I already know on this CD; tha previous PO had a bunch of those, lol. MCD plays this too much for me to actually want to play it; we’ll leave it at a ‘decent’ song. LOL @ tha random dubstep shit in here, too. My Current Rating: 3.2

14. Rae “Lucky Star”

Thought I didn’t know who this was but then again, I remember tha name Rae from ATFC’s “Give Me Luv”; will it be tha same chick? I have a poppy feeling about this 117 BPM, no mix song… >>> Danger wit Madonna’s “Lucky Star” in tha beginning! LOL, this ain’t tha same gurl; a rapper chick? Funny/how random… LOL, dealbreaker wit tha chorus; this doesn’t qualify as dance! She sounds like Lil’ Kim rappin’? Talk about this randomness… “Representin’ tha 3 to tha 0 to tha 5” (305 area code of Miami, FL); gee, that’s where Pitbull’s from… I bet Pitbull has ta do somethin’ wit this! Wit this bein’ signed to an unknown label, this ain’t gonna be big or anything… My Rating: 2.4

15. Katrina “OPM (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

I have some good AL on this ‘cause of tha length and tha content warning; hope it pays off! LOL, wonder if this’ll be 3 for 3 wit tha DA mixes soundin’ like other DA mixes? >>> Sounds like a club mix instead of a RE, lol. LOL @ tha title; looks like rappers Naughty By Nature wit “O.P.P.”, but it’s “other people’s money,” here. Hearin’ tha 1^st verse and it sounds like some catchy, dance-meets-borderline lyrics and vocals, here. Tha chorus sounds catchy, too; not too bad, overall… LOL, club mix ending, too? Should’ve called this a “Mixshow Edit”, lol. My Rating: 3.8

16. Kerli “Army Of Love (Sultan & Ned Shepard Radio Edit)”
She’s a hot one, too; I wonder what level this iz gonna be on? >>> Sounds like a big start; she seems to change style on every song she puts out, which sounds new and exciting each time. Of course, lyrics are catchy/interesting, too; she has a Lady GaGa look, but not sound, luckily. Tha title has a catch to it, makin’ this an interestin’ topic. My Rating: 4.2

17. DJ Antoine vs. Timati Feat. Kalenna “Welcome To St. Tropez (DJ Antoine vs. Mad Mark Radio Edit)”

Uh oh, some “clean” in tha ID wit DJ Antoine, lol? Kalenna tha same chick from Three 6 Mafia’s “Shake My” song from tha 10/09 PO? I have a feelin’ this iz either gonna be a funny/weird combo or an answer song to “Miami 2 Ibiza”, lol. >>> LOL, sounds like an answer song; man rapper? Guess that’s tha Timati person… Not much interest in tha music and now that I’m hearin’ Kalenna on tha chorus, it sounds a lil’ like that same chick, only a lil’ hotter. I luv how #15 had a content warning but this and #14 didn’t? Clean or not, Cascada “Fever” had tha content warning, lol. But, this ain’t close-as-hot as “Miami 2 Ibiza”; not really big about “money” lyrics, either! Who’s tha “Mr. Black Star” dude from “Moscow, Russia,” lol? Seems like tha rap-dance songs are suckin’ on this CD; I like hot beats wit my rap-dance songs! My Rating: 2.6

18. Rye Rye Feat. Robyn “Never Will Be Mine (Kat Krazy Radio Edit)”

This better be a good rap song. Actually, not rap-dance, but rap remixed! >>> Sounds like we have an actual dance beat, this time! Good start from Robyn on tha chorus! Hearin’ Rye Rye rappin’ and she sounds good, although this iz more poppy wit tha lyrics/content, but it pulls through better than some of tha shit on here! Yes, some hot beats in tha chorus; keep tha pluses comin’! I don’t get why we’re not seein’ this on MTV or somethin’; seems like mainstream outlets are suckin’, mostly? My Rating: 4.1

19. Hakimakli Feat. Jamie Shepherd “Ding Dong Ding”

Looks scary for a Robbins title but I’ll give it some trust ‘cause I believe this was tha remixer of Antoine Clamaran’s “Gold” on MCD. >>> Corny start? Sounds like a mix of rap and urban content, here; not sure how I’ll like it, overall… LOL, what’s wit all these errors of no content warnings? Thought PO was OCD wit tha word “damn.” Anyway, gotta get used to these vocals; I’m likin’ all tha music goin’ on, here. Even though I thought tha beginning was cheesy, I’m actually likin’ that lil’ reggae dialect of tha “beep beep, in ah ya jeep” part (lol). Overall, kinda a mixed review, but more positive for me than negative; just a lil’ cheesy wit tha lyrics. My Rating: 3.7

20. Morgan Page, Sultan & Ned Shepard & BT Feat. Angela McCluskey “In The Air”

Buku DJs, lol! MCD plays this a lot and even though it sounds like a semi-scary start, it’s okay for a song, overall. Not really into tha long, sour start, but once tha music kicks in, it’s a lil’ better. Speakin’ of “In The Air”, more like on tha ground: Lots of places felt an earthquake today; how random, lol/smh! My Current Rating: 3.6

21. Ian Carey Feat. Snoop Dogg & Bobby Anthony “Last Night”

LOL @ tha lineup, no less, Next Plateau on tha signing! You’d think Ultra would sign this; a lil’ ass-backwards? How will it rank amongst tha rap songs on here? >>> Must not be Snoop in tha beginning? An okay start but where’s Snoop? Ugh, some Auto-Tune in tha voice… Music could definitely be better; where’s “Keep On Rising”? LOL @ havin’ ta “pee” so bad! Another non-Snoop Dogg verse? Why iz he 1^st in tha ID, then? Oh, there he iz on tha 3^rd verse; yea, I think tha ID should be flipped. LOL @ Snoop givin’ a shout out ta “Ian Carey;” goes to show you how he knows his dance music, lol. Would’ve been a lil’ better if it was just BA on tha chorus and Snoop Dogg rappin’ all tha verses. My Rating: 2.9

Overall: Damn, what a weird CD… I definitely thought tha previous CD was much better! “Diamonds In The Sky” >>> this whole CD! I barely loved any of tha songs on here; I anticipated/expected way better from some of ‘em, too! Mayra Veronica was tha only thing real hot, wit “2.0” behind it!
