Almost
dat tyme fa birthweek vacation, ya heard me?! I will be seein’ Sammy Virji live
at, now, tha Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday, June 14th! Plus, afta
dat, on Sunday, June 15th, I will be flyin’ ta Saint Croix, USVI, ta
enjoy a whole week of good vibes!! Supa excited & I can’t believe how fast
it’s comin’!! With that bein’ said, tyme fa Promo Only Dance Radio July
2025…! Dunno if it’ll be betta than previous editions, so we’ll have ta
see what we’re gettin’ in to, here… Start
Tyme: 7:46 PM | End Tyme: 8:56 PM
Disclaimer: I type how I wanna type
(frequent use of “tha” instead of “the,” “iz” instead of “is,” “a”-ending words
instead of “er,” and a few others). I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each
rating iz my own opinion! I only
please myself wit my ratings! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it,
I like it how I wanna like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics.
To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least
a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty
much really love it, as it’s
considered mindblowin’ when I hear
it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “
>>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I
type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it.
Sometymes, I may not rate a song too high on its first listen, but in tha
future, I could be playin’ it more than a higher-rated song…

Martin Garrix & Lauv “Mad”
Label: Casablanca/Republic
Anotha edition startin’ off with a Garrix track, just like six months ago… Got ta hear this one & it was only an okay track fa me. *Rehears* Sounds like a good lil’ start, regardless; likin’ tha combo of Garrix & Lauv, like it’s betta than average/bad. Tha chorus more on tha acoustic-only tip, as it takes a while to build up… Kinda ehh, as if I wished fa more energy… Hearin’ tha climax come up in tha build-up to tha drop & it’s soundin’ cool… I’ll give it some props, includin’ tha drop bein’ okay. Basically, just an okay track ta kick off tha summer editions, it seems like… I like tha lil’ sound toward tha final seconds of this track, at least; nice outro, Garrix…! My Current Rating: 3.7
02.
Axwell feat. CARMA “Until The Lights Go Out”
Label: Axtone
Gotta luv tha return of Axwell, a collab wit CARMA, tha evolved fastness of 135 BPM, Axtone stayin’ around & tha extended intro, here…! Definitely awesome, remindin’ me of my Montauk, NYC & Atlantic City travels; definitely feelin’ tha fast energy! Luv how CARMA know how ta keep up fa “2 Days” & then, proceed “Until The Lights Go Out”! Definitely continuous euphoria & progression of one with strong stamina (me)!! Determination! This what this one feels/sounds like ta me…! Definitely feelin’ tha extended outro on this, as well…! My Current Rating: 4.6
03.
Avicii & Elle King “Let’s Ride Away”
Label: Interscope/Capitol
As much as I’m glad his legacy & err-thang continues, his music has alwayz not been tha best for me. Likin’ this slow, euphoric vibe, even tho overall, it’s just a decent collab. Just felt like, while still livin’, Avicii grabbed that one random vocalist that got away, years after Elle’s biggest hit. Basically, just a decent collab, but a cool lil’ chorus & drop. Just sounds like pure vacation, ya heard me? Guess it ain’t leavin’ any tyme soon! Tha rest of this cool; can’t complain & we’ll see how it does, in everybody’s world… My Current Rating: 3.8
04.
ILLENIUM x HAYLA “In My Arms”
Label: Republic
This one been out there… Seems like a good collab, but tha 71 BPM slowness of trapness iz a lil’ ehh for me. Regardless, sounds like a good lil’ pre-chorus! I like that part tha best, includin’ how tha chorus sounds fast! Then again, right after that fastness, tha drop hits & iz on that slow, trap-type shit. Tha 2nd verse ain’t too-too bad; dunno how much this’ll grow on me, in tha future. Last year, durin’ my trip to Hawaii, HAYLA was leadin’ tha edition off with Kygo. Now, she can’t escape travels like these, ya heard me?! Likin’ that tha 2nd drop teases me a lil’, in its beginning… Tha double-tyme rate of 142 BPMness! Ahh, lol…! My Current Rating: 4.0
05.
Rihanna “Friend Of Mine”
Label: Roc Nation/Republic
The Smurfs Movie Soundtrack, accordin’ ta its appearance, here… Random appearance from some1 who consistently held it down from 2005 ta 2018 & then, ???, nothin’ till now fa me… Didn’t really get ta hear it, but saw it on tha POOL Player… Made me feel like 17 years ago, with “Disturbia” bein’ an original Rihanna version on a Dance Radio edition…! >>> Sounds different, cool & eerie in tha beginning, Definitely feelin’ tha, I’ll say, different country-type of chants & all that! Sounds cool; wouldn’t think it was her, if I didn’t see tha ID…! My Rating: 4.2
06.
CMC$ & Terror Jr “Risk It All”
Label: Robbins
Speakin’ of tha late 2010’s, here come two artists durin’ that 2017 year & now, they’re here, courtesy of Robbins & 132 BPM! >>> Sounds like a female voice that can be more cool, nowadayz? Sounds like a decent track, so far… Tha chorus sounds cool; almost seems like a Lyrah-type of chill/fast vibe, here… Hearin’ tha drop kick in at 0:58 & yea, I can hear tha Daniel Allan-type of fast beats & Lyrah-like sound, on tha vocals… I’ll give it a plus, but we’ll see how this’ll do for tha summer…! My Rating: 4.2
07.
Block & Crown & Pretty Poison “Freedom (Todd Terry Edit Mix)”
Label: Hot Traxx
Interestin’ ta see artists that have been on Dance Radio—or, in Pretty Poison’s case with Music Choice Dance & 2004, Select Series Dance! Now, let’s see how hot this track iz, courtesy of err-body collaboratin’…! >>> Seems like it’s gonna be on a deep-house tip, here… Glad to see anotha Pretty Poison/Jade Starling track on anotha Dance Radio edition…! Just seems like an okay dance track, with an okay chorus, here… Sounds like tha “Freedom” iz for tha gay community, based off how this sounds like it’s goin’? I’ono… Tha rest of this ehh…; I think I’m ready fa tha next song, now. My Rating: 3.2
08.
Armin Van Buuren & Sam Gray “Dream A Little Dream”
Label: Armada
Alwayz glad when SG continues his collaborations with dance music’s biggest… Armin & Sam, with their 2nd collab, 1st on PO & it’s cool to keep dreamin’. A lil’ acoustic/quiet, like some of tha beginning tracks on this edition. However, Armin turns up tha heat with tha build-up, b4 tha drop hits…! Good energy; just a decent track on my playlist, tho. I wish this more success, like other Armin songs I thought were not as good as this… My Current Rating: 4.1
09.
Tiësto & Odd Mob & Goodboys “Won’t Be Possible”
Label: Musical Freedom/Atlantic
Looks like a short song… Guess Tiësto gon hit us quickly with this one? >>> Sounds like a better-soundin’ effort, thanx to a lil’ 130 BPMness touch… Nothin’ much to say, but it’s a good vibe, here… My Rating: 3.9
10.
CYRIL x MOONLGHT x The La’s “There She Goes”
Label: Spinnin’
Ehh… Not really in to tha Sixpence None The Richer cover, here, just as if CYRIL imagined… >>> Yea, even more on an icky tip with these male vocals! Yuck! No more feedback needed… My Rating: 1.0
½tyme: Was at a 4.0 for tha
average rating till #10 kicked in & knocked it down ta a 3.7… Not good, but a decent edition, just as I
predicted… Maybe, some more heat on tha 2nd ½?!
11.
Gordo & Blessd feat. Kofla “Globo”
Label: Ultra
Throughout tyme, I had issues with Spanish-like tracks enterin’ tha dance world & all that. Now, with tha way my current full-tyme iz, I can have a hidden guilty pleasure for a thumbs-up ta one of these tracks, now & then…! With that bein’ said, awesome that I got ta hear this on my travels throughout Atlantic City, as a The Chainsmokers’ Electro15 premiere! Definitely nice with these 130 BPM from Mr. Gordo, here…! Adds much more spice than a typical, slower-soundin’ dance/house track…! Though I don’t understand tha lyrics, I give Gordo (Carnage) buku props for how he produced this one…! My Current Rating: 4.5
12.
Mau P “The Less I Know The Better”
Label: Nervous
I wish tha high-af feeling of Nervous Records makin’ a Dance Radio return since 11 years ago with Kim Sozzi was gon be an epic one. However, just a sappy/okay house track, literally takin’ Tame Impala & addin’ house beats to it. Mau P! That’s not tha “drugs” we’re talkin’ ‘bout! Too random & it’s like tha dance world really needed a Tame Impala voice, fa a lil’ bit… L…o…l… My Current Rating: 3.0
13.
HUGEL, David Guetta, Kehlani & Daecolm “Think Of Me”
Label: Interscope/Capitol
Not too sure how I should feel about all these slower tracks comin’ around, these dayz… This one’s been out there, recently, but I didn’t grasp on to it… >>> Cool lil’ collab; nothin’ too-too much to get excited about. Tha drop sounds a lil’ upliftin’; decent at its best, here… Tha 2nd verse sounds okay, with this pop/dance-like collab… My Rating: 3.6
14.
RSCL & VASSY “Beg”
Label: Revealed
Looks like it could be an interestin’ collab, here… >>> Sounds good, as VASSY starts it off with RSCL’s evolving music piece… Sounds like somethin’ I would have to get adjusted to… Will tha dance world “Beg” fa this one? We’ll see how this appears in this summer, comin’ real soon…! Tha 2nd verse sounds good with this “sinking in your atmosphere” line, progressin’ through some awesome tymes, on tha way…! Tha rest of this decent, for tha most part… My Rating: 3.8
15.
Sam Feldt feat. Justin Jesso & Parson James “Lonely Tonight”
Label: Sony
A slower SF track, here… Two males on tha vocals, here… >>> A slower track, of course; only 108 BPM. Hearin’ tha 1st verse & it’s okay; nothin’ to really brag about. Tha chorus sounds ehh; almost sounds like an annoying boy band, tbh… Tha drop iz ehh…; I’d rather a faster SF. Tha 2nd verse & tha rest of this can take a hike…! My Rating: 2.2
16.
Klangkarussell & Oliva “Holy Father”
Label: Bias Beach
Looks like a title Killa McClain need to take more serious, as he made me take it seriously every day, since our truck accident… >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ slow track fa only 115 BPM…! Klangkarussell, no matter if it’s 2012, 2016 or 2025, they know when to hit ‘em with an awesome track…! I like how this female sounds Jamaican, here; nice lil’ collab. I’ono how special it’ll be for airplay, overall; we’ll have to see… Cool lil’ part after tha chorus & I’m definitely feelin’ tha 2nd verse’s vocals! Definitely nice with this female & cool for a slow track, once again…! My Rating: 4.3
17.
Nathan C & Brody Jenner “Voices”
Label: Spinnin’
Two new Spinnin’ newbies, it looks like? Hope it’s an awesome anthem fa tha summer, here…! >>> Nice music in tha beginning, just slammin’ like an anthem! Definitely feelin’ tha female on tha vocals, here; pure danceness at its finest! Definitely feelin’ it on a top-notch level, courtesy of tha chorus! Outta nowhere, as it started soundin’ familiar, tha “da-da-da-da” shit, like “Tom’s Diner”, struck on tha chorus/drop & it’s pretty catchy, here…! Almost sounds like it’s slap-house, but at a normal 128 BPM vibe, which makes it faster than tha norm-based ones… Cool how it’s pretty strong, here, no matter if samplin’ iz tha way to cheat? My Rating: 4.4
18.
EMSKI “Sweat”
Label: mau5trap
Dunno, here… Tha mau5 on tha label, but a new artist, here… >>> Sounds like a spoken-word female, here… Tha build-up lead to, like, an acid-type of feel with these house beats… Like, nothin’ but tha “Sweat,” here? I’ono how much I wanna bring that outta myself… Sounds like a random song, overall… Just needs to fit in some type of deep-house set or somethin’ & click, there it iz…! My Rating: 3.4
19.
33 Below “Mash Up”
Label: Major/Warner
Looks like we finally have an anticipatin’ pace, again! A 137 BPM-paced one, here & I know of 33 Below, from last year…! >>> Sounds cool; not what I expected, but still dope… It’s like a male Jamaican on tha vocals/vocal-chops, here… Tha fast beats are cool with how 33 Below mashes ‘em “up,” throughout tha track! Sounds like somethin’ some1 can get addicted ta appreciatin’? Tha rest of this rolls through, like it’s no1’s bidness… My Rating: 4.4
20.
Rockell “In A Dream (Dark Intensity Remix Edit)”
Label: Tazmania
Luv how Tazmania’s makin’ anotha appearance on a Dance Radio. However, with this one, as much as I luv Rockell & her Long Islandness, I think she needs a new track! Not a remake! Not a new remix of somethin’ of hers from 27 years ago! >>> Cool lil’ music from DI, but I was happy 23 editions ago, when ACRAZE remade it at tha original’s normal 132 BPM pace. Still, just seems like a bonus, here, almost as if she’s re-recorded her vocals fa 2025, here… It makes her sound older, here; liked tha original voice, but this still cool, tho. My Rating: 4.0
21.
Mr Probz “Waves (:DARREN Remix Radio Edit)”
Label: Left Lane
Why this ta end it off? Also, when Mr Probz didn’t have tha period in his name… >>> Sounds like cool lil’ updated music, in tha beginning… Still an icky song fa me. What a random way ta end this edition—tha last one of me bein’ Age 36! I will be 37 in 10 dayz! Coulda ended a lil’ stronger, here… Tha music all deeped-out, here; that’s what I hear in it. My Rating: 1.2
Overall: Most of this went over
okay, tho it wasn’t as hittin’ as previous editions… I hope that means tha
future iz still bright fa me & doesn’t have any obstacles in tha way. I
know I’ll have tha best tyme at my birthweek vacation of Saint Croix, USVI,
tho! Drivin’ on tha left side of tha road!! New experience fa me! I just gon
keep stayin’ 100.00% & appreciatin’ all tha music of today, ya heard me?!
