Aight here's my review on Promo Only Dance Radio July 2006. I didn't look at the tracklist for this issue, so I'm gonna be surprised at the 21 songs!

1. Christina Aguilera "Ain't No Other Man (Radio Edit)" -- Dance??? This makes it and Madonna "Hung Up" doesn't??? Especially if this song iz produced by DJ Premier (Hip-Hop producer)...a$$ censored??? Thumbs down! Really like the song tho, but this CD DOESN'T start with a banger, ESPECIALLY if this song iz NOT Dance! Rating: * <- Due to "a$$" censored

2. Paris Hilton "Stars Are Blind (Tracy Young Radio)" -- Paris Hilton's 2nd song! Second Dance remix! Almost as good as "Screwed (Alex G Remix)". Tracy Young did a good job remixing this song! Thumbs up on a better quality than the older one I had! Rating: ***

3. Avalon Superstar Feat. Rita Campbell "All My Love (Soul Seeker Radio Edit)" -- Knew what it was right away...I think I had this remix in April...I think how Soul Seeker remixed this song that you don't hear that hot music that's far in the background. This mix sounds more like a late night mix than the one played on Music Choice Dance. Rating: ***

4. 4 Strings "Sunrise (Radio Edit)" -- Ooh I'm liking this song! It's got a Trance feel to it, with no words (FINALLY a song with no words)! ^_^ Rating: ***
EDIT: So this iz the 4 Strings song!

5. September "Satellites (Radio Edit)" -- Ooh nice song! I think I recognize this now....was gonna be one of my later Pump It Or Dump It's during the week, so now it won't be, but hot song. Rating: ****

6. Mark Knight Feat. Katherine Ellis "Insatiable (Original Radio Mix)" -- LOOK WHAT WE HAVE HERE!! I've had this song ripped for about 7 weeks now, and now finally, IT LANDED on PO! Love the vocals on this, unlike "Shiver" with Lee Coombs... Rating: ****

7. Rihanna "Unfaithful (Tony Moran Radio)" -- Lucky number 7...wonder what it iz...sounds like a Tony Moran & Warren Rigg Remix of "Unfaithful". That intro sounded SO HOT, and the vocals sound a lil' different (maybe that's my surround). Love how that chorus sounds! Rating: ****

8. Pleasure Center "Getcha Some (Original Radio Mix)" -- Hmm...don't know the song...sounds okay. The music iz nice. Rating: **
EDIT: PLEASURE CENTER?!? :shock: :shock: Definitely like better now!

9. Benassi Bros. Feat. Naan "Feel Alive (Radio Edit)" -- Sounds like Benassi Bros.! :!: Pretty hot song. Everytime I think of BB I think of my mom. Rating: ***

10. The Veronicas "Everything I'm Not (Jason Nevins Remix Edit)" -- Music Choice Dance has this...The Veronicas have scored it 2 for 2 with Dance remixes! :!: A remix that's great for me. Rating: ***

11. Lasgo "Hold Me Now (Radio Edit)" -- Iz this Lasgo.....? Not bad for a song. Something that would sound like it could grow on me. 2nd new song Robbins signed recently I guess. Rating: ***

12. D'Andre "Whatever (Pathos V2 Mix Radio)" -- This sounds like a hot song! :!: Rating: ****

13. Richard 'Humpty' Vission "Somebody (Radio Edit)" -- An old Music Choice Dance song (they got in like November 2005). Unfortunately, I think this iz just okay. Music Choice Dance's mix iz better. Rating: *

14. Plumb "Cut (The Remix) (Bronleewe & Bose Radio Edit)" -- Hmm...the vocals and music iz aiight. I don't have much to say. This song would be better at the end of the CD IMO. Rating: **

15. Junkie XL "Today (Radio Edit)" -- Sounds like it's a remix to something.....what could it be?? Oh wait...this sounds like The Lovemakers...ahh I'm good! DAMN that music iz BANGING after the 2nd chorus! :!: :!: :shock: Rating: ****
EDIT: Nope not TL. It's JXL! Weird 'cause "Yesterday's" iz on Music Choice Electronica and "Today" iz on Promo Only Dance.

16. Matt Darey vs. Tall Paul Feat. Larry Love (Alabama 3) & Don Jackson (Headstrong) "No Submission (Radio Edit)" -- Another male vocal rock mix...sorry I don't like it. I don't even have a clue what it could be. :arrow: Rating: *

17. Henri "When You Walk Away (Scotty K Radio Mix)" -- Sounds like she could be someone I know, but I can't even think of anything...the music sounds kinda dead. The vocals are not the best. This sounds like it could be one of those "mysterious" club songs. Rating: **

18. Roger Sanchez Feat. Lisa Pure & Katherine Ellis "Lost (Radio Edit)" -- Another one that could remind me of something that I might've seen on Clubland...That chorus sounds nice. Rating: **
EDIT: Roger Sanchez & Katherine Ellis?!? :shock: :shock: Damn I would've gave a WAY BETTER rating!!

19. Jill Criscuolo "I'm Sorry (Masi & Mello Club Radio Edit)" -- Sounds like a remake...I don't have much to say about this song, although figuring out what this sampled iz drivin' me nuts! Rating: **

20. Russ Castella Feat. Elissa "Truth (Mike Rizzo Global Radio Edit)" -- Nothing special. Rating: **

21. Chelo "Cha Cha (Dave Audé Cha Edit)" -- THEY SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST!!! I knew something great was coming! Finally! I was getting bored while I was listening to those previous songs. SUMMER ANTHEM!! Rating: ****


Overall: Beginning made it anticipating, ending may have thrown me off, but lemme fill in all the artist/titles now, and I will edit my comments with an EDIT if I have to. Yes, I had to make some edits! Pleasure Center and the Roger Sanchez/Katherine Ellis collaboration surprised the living $hit outta me! This iz what happens on "blind" listens! :lol:
Great CD (mainly the first 1/2 of it)! Highlights were the 4 Strings song, September's song, Insatiable, that HOT "Unfaithful" remix, Pleasure Center's song, D'Andre song, JXL's song, RS & KE's song, and Chelo's HOT remix! Benassi Bros and Lasgo are nice to hear as well! Not as good as June's, but it's great!

1. Madonna "Get Together" -> Usually it's a HOT BANGER that starts the CD off. Not bad for this one to. Kinda slow for the beginning but it's not that bad. It missed being a "spike" song on my last playlist so now with this radio edit I'll probably get it on there.

2. Cascada "Miracle (Radio Mix)" -> Better be the new '06 format...*listens...* AHH! WHAT'S THIS?!? Good thing Music Choice Rap just played an ANTICIPATING new song that I should check out soon! That made me happy unlike this 2004 MIRACLE! Still good, but it's '06 now. PLEASE NO MORE REPEATS ON PROMO ONLY DANCE RADIO!!!!!!!! :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

3. Allie "Living In A Whisper (Anton Bass New Pop Mix)" -> Now I know why it's called "Pop Mix": It reminds me of a Pop song. The music iz a MAJOR PLUS! Like the vocals, although they're different from the last 2 songs from her. Great song! Thumbs up!! Hope radio airs it soon!!

4. Akira "Piece Of Heaven (Radio Mix)" -> So this iz what Al (mixmasteral23) was talkin' about when he mentioned Cascada format! Really HOT music and the vocals are tight!!

5. Nick Lachey "What's Left Of Me (The Passengerz Remix Radio Edit)" -> Okay I like it. Nice "Pop" remix, but PLEASE keep this away from Dance stations! That means YOU Music Choice Dance! :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

6. Da Buzz "Alive" -> Even tho 2002, I LOVE IT! Glad to hear them on a CD again!

7. Chico Feat. Ashlee "Leavin U (Steel City Radio Edit)" -> For the song, *listens* Good music, vocals are okay. Like 'em. Chorus iz okay.

8. Lenna "So American (L.E.X. Radio Edit)" -> I don't know about this one.....it's okay. Music, vocals, okay. Subject wise, thanx 4 tellin' me about this girl, Lenna! Interesting. 8)

9. Jamesy P "Nookie (Carnival Del Nookie UK Radio Edit)" -> The moment I've been waiting for...not so anticipated but this iz a Reggae song from January 2005, so let me check out this remix...Okay I never remember hearing this song ever. I wonder what took it so long to get remixed? Iz it gettin' released as a single or something now? Anywayz, it sounds like one of those songs I would get catched onto if I was to hear it on the radio first. Catchy with the music! Like the music. Vocals make me laugh in a good way but it goes pretty well.

10. Aycan "Lambada" -> Looks strange. Let's see what this iz all about...WOW! What a surprise! LOVE the music and the vocals are HOT! That chorus iz SHOCKING AND SO HOT!!! Oh I LOVE that it's not English! I think it's Italian!

11. Jacinta "Destination (Anton Bass Radio Edit)" -> Hmmm...sounds good. Vocals are not bad. The music's pretty good! Like the chorus!

12. Tali & Meth "Thinking Of You (Dezrok Radio Edit)" -> Sounds good. Not so shocking for me but I bet'cha if I heard this song on Music Choice Dance a bunch of times it might be one of those songs that can grow on you. We'll see if it grows on me.

13. Joey Negro Feat. Taka Boom "Make A Move On Me" ->
LOVE the girl's vocals to this! The music iz FIRE! After 2:10 it sounds different from Music Choice Dance's mix. I don't like that guy saying "c'mon make a move!" Music Choice Dance's version of the guy saying that iz better! I'm not gonna replace my rip with this mix. Sorry.

14. Gabriel & Dresden Feat. Molly Bancroft "Tracking Treasure Down " -> Really "Tracking Treasure Down", not “Tracking Down Treasure”. I know this song already but I'll tell you what I think of it: By the sounds of it, it sounds like a late night type of song. It's not my type. I just think it's okay. It's listenable tho.

15. Tricky Bizzniss Feat. Trixie Reiss "Day To Day" -> One word: Okay.

16. Luz Divina "You Shine On Me (Johnny Budz Remix Edit)" -> Not bad remix. Johnny Budz does his thang on pretty much everythang he touches. :!:

17. Bo Bice "The Real Thing (Top 40 Remix)" -> It looks like this'll be the worst one on the CD. That remix just scares me. :shock: *listens* Yeah I never liked this song. It comes on in Gym too much. Top 40 BETTER play this remix tho.

19. South Side Crew "Go Your Own Way" -> HOT song! Reminds me of "One Night In Bangkok" and right before I listened to this song, I was like "where's these types of songs?" Now there's one!

20. Chocolate Puma "Always And Forever" -> Hmm...a lil' different from the "I Wanna Be U" song from '00 but it's somewat okay. I don't think it would fit me tho.


Overall: HOT CD! Better than May's! My 2 TOP favorite songs that I never heard are:

Okay. I just got done listening to Promo Only Dance Radio May 2006 and here's what I think:

01. Rihanna "S.O.S. (Chris Cox Radio Edit)" -> Gotta start the CD off with a BANGER! Love this remix, especially the music right before the last chorus! Nice remix!

02. Narcotic Thrust Feat. Yvonne John Lewis - Waiting For You (Dave Whelan & DJ Scala Remix Edit) -> Good remix edit for this one! Like this and the Steve Mac remix. Definitely adding to my playlist.

03. Amuka - Craving (Al B Rich Remix Edit) -> LOVE that music! It's SO HOT! Okay vocals (better vocals on this radio edit rather than the Club Mix I had)! One of my favorite songs to play! Too bad the last 20 sec. izn't just the music which I really love at the end.

04. Luz Divina - Sorry (Radio Edit) -> Gave it a 77 of 100 on my Pump It Or Dump It earlier tonight. The song gets better when it's playing. Thought the vocals would be louder like "You Shine On Me". I love that music at 1:42!

05. Sarah Atereth - Fade Away (Mike Rizzo Radio Edit) -> Not bad, Valentin's iz like way better to me IMO, but sounds hot.

06. DJ X Feat. Jon Secada - What You Won't Do For Love (Radio Edit) -> Like the music in this one! Sounds great. Not bad vocals. Pretty much reminds me / sounds like a night time song.

07. Paul Oakenfold Feat. Brittany Murphy - Faster Kill Pussycat (Radio Mix) -> Content warning = yes? No to me. I don't hear any bad words. HOT song!! That music definitely rox! And Brittany Murphy singing...turnin' me on!

08. Pink - Stupid Girls (Hani's Stupid Remix - Radio Edit) -> :lol: They censored "f*ck"! :lol: Like this remix a lot! It sounds KTUish but they don't play it. Why?

09. Chanel - My Life (Haji & Emanuel Radio Edit) -> :lol: This makes me laugh when it's all sllllowwwwww! :lol: Sounds like a Houston, Texas dirty south Rap song screwed (slowed down)! :lol: Really like this song tho, but this version iz too slow! :lol: Music Choice Dance’s iz faster!

10. Mariah Carey - Say Somethin’ (Morales Radio Edit) -> NICE remix! Really like the music! The only thing iz after the 2nd verse u know I get disappointed 'cause no Snoop Dogg? :? Its ID should be Mariah Carey - Say Somethin’ (Morales Radio Edit) instead. :roll: :roll: :roll: I HOPE Young Jeezy's in "Say I (Remix)"...

11. Korn - Coming Undone (Dummies Radio Mix) -> I don't like it... :lol: "Twisted Transistor" Remix iz like 1430248723049825x better!!! That mix was just SO HOT and I even like the original "TT" better. This iz just SOOOOOO not interesting! Dance songs/remixes are supposed to make me feel good. This? No! It feels like I'm listening to metal music now. :x

12. India.Arie - I Am Not My Hair (Wigged Out Remix) -> The music iz okay. The first few seconds before the first verse starts had me crackin' up! :lol: But the song doesn't seem catchy for me.

13. Natasha Bedingfield - The One That Got Away (Wamdue Pop - Rocks Mix) -> This song sounds pretty good! It doesn't really sound like her tho but great remix! I never heard the original tho.

14. Jenn Cuneta - Let Me Take You Away (Radio Edit) -> WOW HOT SONG! And no, there's no ringtone music in this one! It samples "We Are Family"! Great vocals and great music! Such a FUTURE Summer 2006 anthem! This iz my favorite song that I've never heard from the CD!

15. Blondie vs. The Doors - Rapture Riders (Single Edit) -> Content warning yes? What's bad with the words to this song? Pretty good type of song for a party. I like The Doors' vocals but it's not too catchy for me. Thumbs up to The Doors!

16. Mink - Glory Of Life (Chris Cox Radio Mix) -> You know I love this song! Definitely a great song when something really good happens in real life! BTW, I like the club version that I shortened to a 3:53 edit better. Sometimes I feel like this radio edit was jammed in or something and that nice long intermission after "so this iz my song for the glory of life" iz really short unlike the club / MCD mix.

17. Janice Grace - Geisha Girl (Tracy Young Miami Remix Radio Edit) -> Aww! :P A girl talkin' about another girl! What's a "Geisha girl" anyway? Not the catchiest for me. Music's okay. Vocals are iight.

18. Christina Milian Feat. Young Jeezy - Say I (Maurice Radio Edit) -> Wow didn't expect this remix to be this good. Thumbs up to Maurice! Nice that it has the original music to it unlike sounding boring like "Check On It" or "One Wish". But...ONE THING THAT DISAPPOINTED ME: NO YOUNG JEEZY?!?! He only says like 3 words "chea......aye....yeah...". That disappointed me bad. Great remix. I don't know if I wanna add it tho 'cause I NEVER add Rap Edits... :x

19. Above & Beyond Feat. Richard Bedford - Alone Tonight (Ronski Speed Edit) -> Like it. Not bad. I can't tell the difference between the Radio Edit and this mix 'cause I didn't catch on too much to the Radio Edit, but not bad. 8)

20. Gustavo Santaolalla - The Wings (Theme From Brokeback Mountain) (Manny Lehman, Tony Moran & Warren Rigg Collaboration Remix - Radio Edit) -> I NEVER really thought I'd have a BIGGER filename than Bun B Feat. Lil' Keke, Slim Thug, Chamillionaire, Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Aztek, Lil' Flip & Z-Ro "Draped Up (H-Town Remix)" and now I do. :lol: The first time I heard this, I really love the music, but I didn't hear any words, so I went along with it, and I REALLY like this! Great song with no words! And it's ABOUT DAMN TIME I got the Radio Edit!

21. Wonderland Avenue - White Horse -> Somewhat catchy. Nothing special. I like the part "rich.........bitch!"


Overall: Great CD, although the first 1/2 was way better!
The no Snoop Dogg and no Young Jeezy parts were THE MOST DISAPPOINTING parts, although Young Jeezy's was 1,000x worse to not hear him! :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:
