Tyme
for anotha Promo Only review! This tyme, it’s Dance Radio December
2023! Lookin’ forward to as tha music progresses in tyme…! Been busy
with workin’ on my latest commercial series but made sure to get this review in
b4 tha week was over…! Start Tyme: 8:10

Disclaimer: I type how I wanna type
(frequent use of “tha” instead of “the,” “iz” instead of “is,” “a”-ending words
instead of “er,” and a few others). I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating
iz my own opinion! I only please myself
wit my ratings! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it, I like it how
I wanna like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine
my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0
rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can
earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ”
iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “
>>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. Sometymes,
I may not rate a song too high on its first listen, but in tha future, I could
be playin’ it more than a higher-rated song…

01.
Dom Dolla feat. Clementine Douglas “Saving Up”
Label: Three Six Zero
Luv how these two are at tha top of a PO, again…! Also, props to all tha credited & uncredited success Clementine has had, from tha beginning of tha year (“Just Words” w/DUBBS) to now, w/Dom Dolla! Ironic? With this track, I like that Dom sped his music up but, at first, wasn’t feelin’ Clementine sped up. Once I found out it was her on tha pitched-up vocals, I gave it a betta chance. Gotta “love” Clementine & all tha “love” that was saved “up,” to make her go further with her continuous talent! Props on Dom fa makin’ a fade-out, on this review-starting track! My Current Rating: 3.9
02.
FISHER x Kita Alexander “Atmosphere”
Label: Catch & Release
One track that’s been ducked off from my playlist but has been calculatin’ spins, in tha background… Either way, anotha nice lil’ house tune from tha FISH x this Kita…! Nothin’ much else ta say… My Current Rating: 3.8
03.
3LAU feat. XIRA “Easy”
Label: Anjunabeats
This one’s a newer one that’s just gettin’ out there & for 3LAU on anotha label, it’s just at a regular pace… Don’t got too much to say about this one but props on anotha collab, followin’ tha PO-ignored/BPM-played “Tokyo”… Might have to get used to this one more & more for betta liking…? My Current Rating: 3.7
04.
BONNIE X CLYDE, DVBBS & Trevor Daniel “No Love”
Label: Lowly.
Tha 1st brand-new track I haven’t heard; looks like a dope collab! >>> Nice start with tha BXC vocals, followed by Trevor, on tha chorus… Like how tha both get on tha chorus & say tha title; props to them. Kinda sounds like it’s on tha crossover between a pop-dance appearance than a dance-pop… We’ll see how this one does, in tha future, includin’ tha label shift to Lowly., as well… Trevor on tha 2nd verse & kinda ehh with tha “my phone” start, to tha verse… Other than that, not too-too bad, for a 1st listen… My Rating: 3.8
05.
Steve Aoki & Danna Paola “Paranoia”
Label: Dim Mak
Ain’t really get to peep-peep this one out, so we’ll see how it does for a brand-new listen… >>> Sounds like it’s a good upbeat start, courtesy of this D-Paola, on tha vox…! Sounds like a good drop, as well as when tha chorus hits…! Definitely props to these two fa this collab…! Feelin’ tha strong vocals, at tymes…! My Rating: 4.2
06.
Anabel Englund “a lesson in chemistry”
Label: Ultra
Almost sounds like a John Summit-type production, on an upbeat level, with this one… Glad she’s sped it up a lil’ faster than usual, here; wishin’ tha best for it…! Love how it’s only 125 seconds long; luv her “chemistry” reaction of breezin’ in & out of tha track! My Current Rating: 4.3
07.
GT_Ofice x ALWZ SNNY x Robbie Rosen “Feels Like Us”
Label: CAINE
Anotha new one fa me & also, ironic, GT had DM’d me with a screenshot that this was on BPM. I was like, “My review’s comin’ soon, too!” >>> A decent start with tha music & tha male vocals; might have to get used to this more & more… At least he’s got a SXM BPM track, now. Fa me, it’s just an average track. I told him to keep tha faith & keep pushin’… My Rating: 3.5
08.
Lucas & Steve feat. Conor Byrne “What We Know”
Label: Spinnin’
Not too-too sure how this new L&S track gon sound… I personally feel like they should increase their speed, like how Anabel Englund & Dom Dolla just did. Maybe, more euphoric & anthemic? >>> This one ain’t too bad, for tha male-vocal & slower-paced music combo… No drop? Ehh, a lil’ boring & startin’ to fade in to Goodboys land, vocally… My Rating: 3.6
09.
James Hype & Kim Petras “Drums”
Label: Republic
Just… a good combo between these two & “Like I Love You”’s sampling. Nothin’ much else to say… My Current Rating: 4.0
10.
Julian Cross “Runaway”
Label: Astralwerks/Capitol
This one? Don’t know what I’ll get but I’m lookin’ forward… >>> Sounds like a slow start with tha music, like it’s progressin’… Not really in to these male vocals, as they sound more poppy than, say, tha GT track. Then again, I may have a betta chance with this track, based off tha progressively-increased music, durin’ tha drop/chorus! Definitely a nice comeback, even tho I’m still not too-too crazy about tha vocals on tha beginning of tha verses… My Rating: 4.1
½tyme: So far, more on a decent
level, as well as a bunch of tracks that have been already doin’ their thang… A
3.9 for tha ½tyme; let’s keep it goin’…!
11. Audien “Superhero”
Label: Armada
Seein’ this one get out there & it’s alwayz gr8 to have some Audien energy, when tha tyme comes… Neva got a full-on listen, yet. >>> Sounds decent with these male vocals & tha music ain’t too bad… Basically, just anotha Audien track for tha books; nothin’ much else ta say. My Rating: 3.6
12. Bingo Players “You Know Why”
Label: Hysteria
Let’s peep it out…! >>> Sounded like a good surprise with that anthemic sound, from tha jump! Definitely feelin’ tha energy of continuous houseness! Luv how it continuously stays strong! I’ono how much tha mainstream’ll get ta appreciate this but it’s here fa tha next leap year—2K24!! My Rating: 4.5
13. Madelline “i’m only here for the beat”
Label: Robbins
Lmao @ tha Robbins, a lowercase title & this Madelline; seems like an odd surprise…?! >>> Oddly, tha anticipation threw me in a different direction than what tha outcome sounds like. It sounds more exciting on tha 1st verse…! Definitely nice but, uh…, tha energy kinda got dry, durin’ tha chorus/drop. Either way, still nice… Yeah, tha excitement comes back for tha 2nd verse! Luv her new vibes, durin’ tha verses! My Rating: 4.2
14. Marsh feat. ALLKNIGHT “Everything”
Label: Major/Warner
One of those tracks I got a taste of, not that long ago… Definitely sounds like it has somethin’ special to offer. Also, crazy that this Major/Warner combo seems like tha best label combo out there, durin’ these post-meth tymes! “123 Round Again” was my top song, while tha last tyme I saw that shit, I first heard & added “Strangers”. Turned out to be a Major/Warner collab & now, they keep droppin’ strong bangerz! This one sounds nice with tha shy-soundin’ female vocals, as well as tha good energy brought by tha Marsh…! My Current Rating: 4.4
15. Kaskade & Lauren L’aimant “Save Me”
Label: ARKADE
Been seein’ this one on tha now-moved Channel 55: SXM Chill & thought it might’ve been too slow fa these tymes, for a more-promoted track? >>> Sounds nice & peaceful… I feel like with LL, it’s like we get a dose of her while it’s cold out. I can just say that I feel like I can breeze thru this next winter! Just gotta keep my qualities progressin’! Till then, I’ll give this some props for bein’ a nice, slow-paced track. My Rating: 3.7
16. Kylie Minogue “Tension”
Label: BMG
Glad she’s continuously gettin’ tha exposure she needs. However, this one’s a lil’ less exciting fa me. Tha verses are catchy & how she keeps her dancin’ shoes on. However, tha title part, as well as tha chorus, sounds a lil’ silly with how it sounds… Not really feelin’ when tha music sounds more like a beat, with tha dry “touch me right there” drop part. My Current Rating: 3.5
17. Cash Cash & Taylor Dayne “Tell It To My
Heart”
Label: Ultra
A collab I woulda neva thought to have seen. Also, crazy that we’d be in 2023, in a nice zone & it’s like, “Oh shit, Taylor Dayne made it to anotha PO!” With this one, it sounds like a nice dedication to tha original track. I toy’d around with wantin’ it or not but, basically, it just sounds like a bonus song. It’s almost like they wanted to make a slap-house-paced version? My Current Rating: 4.0
18. Tiësto, Tears For Fears, NIIKO X SWAE &
Gudfella “Rule The World (Everybody)”
Label: Thrive/Capitol
Double dose of ‘80s remakes, here… >>> This one has good energy, comin’ from tha Ësto & NXS; diggin’ that energy! Nothin’ much else ta say about this one; just sounds like anotha bonus song, tho. My Rating: 3.9
19. deadmau5 feat. Rob Swire “Ghosts N Stuff (JAUZ Remix)”
Label: mau5trap
One minute, it was Kaskade; next minute, it’s tha mau5! As far as this needin’ a remix 14 years later, I still cringe with this track, just sayin’… >>> Ick @ tha original beginning but nice from when JAUZ makes it his own. As far as how it sounds, it sounds more like an orchestra lost in itself… I would say, a lil’ pointless; JAUZ already has good success with his original tracks! Likin’ tha lil’ drop added but who’s to say this needs more feedback? My Rating: 1.7
20. Syn Cole & ANML KNGDM “Let You Go”
Label: Robbins
Love that tha best iz saved for last, x2!! Alwayz think in a double perspective & yes, eva since I got slapped 2x in tha face, last year! Could that have been tha magical, life-changin’ moment that made music like this come back, from my school dayz?! Got an early listen from tha POOL player & it’s definitely on & poppin’! Luv tha fast-paced music, as well as tha collab, here! Hope this one gets its share of success, just like how tha ANMLs wanted to “Be There”! Last year, we ended tha year off with southstar & his fast “Miss You”. Now, we got this, PLUS… (next track on here)! My Current Rating: 4.6
21. Felix Jaehn & Jonas Blue feat. Navvy “Past
Life”
Label: Casablanca/Republic
Endin’ tha year off with a brand-new fast banger!! Definitely nice ta see this one on here & how Felix been speedin’ up his tunez! Feelin’ how Felix & Jonas collab’d on here, as well as findin’ tha future-successful vibes of tha world with Navvy! Can’t deny these vibes!! It’s alwayz been tha speed for me & I’m glad it’s here to define bigga & betta moments in “life,” for me! My Current Rating: 4.7
Overall:
Seemed like this edition went over well… A mix of random tracks, as well as
some bangerz; glad we get ta end tha year off like this…! With that bein’ said,
I’m just hoping for tha best, when it comes to this upcomin’ 2024! I see it; I
gon bring that energy, like it was a decade ago!
