FINALLY BACK IN REVIEW MODE!!! It’s FrankieThaLuckyDog, and I gon review tha final Promo Only Dance Radio series of tha year… betta yet, DECADE!! I didn’t look at tha tracklisting yet, so this should be REAL anticipatin’, ESPECIALLY since tha last edition was awful!! Here goes my anticipatin’ review fa Promo Only Dance Radio December 2009!! Start Time: 9:16 PM | End Time: 11:47 PM

1. I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating.

To tha artist/producer: Don’t get catchy feelin’s if I don’t like a song on a first listen. Things could change in tha future as I could love it, so you neva know!

01. Lucas Prata “Remember (La Di Da) (Radio Edit)”

This could be a GR8 CD wit him startin’ it off… Since Little Boots was tha 1^st song on tha last CD, I may feel just as anticipated wit LP startin’ off this one; let’s see! >>> It sounds good for a start; likin’ tha music. :tu Let’s see what else will happen wit this song… Not bad on tha 1^st verse, but that was a good chorus; this’ll be good ta hear all tha time! It’s soundin’ betta on tha 2^nd verse than tha 1^st verse, so that’s a plus. I like this start for this CD (just like tha otha start), so I feel lucky this time for this edition! LOL @ his “la da de da” shit at tha end. My Rating: 4.3

EDIT: Ooh, not an Ultra song, but a Robbins song, clockin’ in FAST @ 135 BPM!! :tu

02. Britney Spears “3 (Manhattan Clique Remix Radio)”

Saw just tha “Remix Radio” in tha ID, and I got excited. Then, I saw tha mix, and had a clue of what it was… Shortest PO title eva, lol (I say it ties wit Drunken Munkey “E” though). It may be a good mix, so let’s see how this “threesome” song gets remix, lol… >>> Sounds kinda plain/original versionish in tha beginning… Tha song became catchy, although when it first came out, when I was tryin’ to IC it, when I heard her count ta “3,” I was like, “no! No! NO!” Tha mix may be interesting here, but then again, not good enough of a song ta IC exactly… Maybe in tha future, but because a new decade iz real close, I know this won’t make it to 2010 wit me! At tha bridge, wit tha “what we are doin’ iz innocent,” sadly, tha original version’s part sounds like an actual Dance/Trance interlude. It’s like, hello? Why these Pop artists gettin’ tha Trancey beats in parts of their songs? Why iz it cool for Pop artists and not Dance artists tryna get on Pop stations? My Rating: 3.6

03. Chicane Feat. Natasha Bedingfield “Bruised Water (Michael Woods Radio Edit)”

This iz an oldie, although I’m glad MCD just got this; it sounded good on there! Not sure if this iz their mix (‘cause they don’t ID tha mix; maybe there’s iz original?), but let’s see how it sounds on PO… >>> Yea, this sounds like MCD, but I’m not exactly sure… What’s wrong wit them not ID’in’ mixes? They actually had “Radio Mix” in their ID’s for a few months, but they took it out recently. Why take it out when you could put REAL ID’s in tha ID? SMH… Either way, REAL NICE intro wit tha music, although it sounds slow? Of course, NB has catchy lyrics (they’re taken from her 2005/2006ish song “I Bruise Easily”; this should’ve been a “vs.” ‘cause it’s a mash-up…), and tha music iz gr8 for what it iz! My Rating: 4.3

04. Sophia May “Come Back (Digital Dog Radio Edit)”

Party 105 (or now also known as Party 87.7) got this song (bein’ tha 1^st), and I got ta hear it recently online… Reminds me of “Another Day” ‘cause she says “another day” in it a lot. Wanna hear how they radio edited it… >>> Glad they put a music part in tha beginning; I actually started my RE at :15. LMAO/How STRONG she feels when she says, “You haven’t got tha balls ta say…!!” :tu Like that part, and once again, wit DD on tha mix, it sounds GR8 for what they do for peoples’ mixes!! I thought wit tha repetitiveness that this would be unda 3 minutes; it’s close… I thought they RE’d it good here. It got me confused editin’ it wit tha 2 repetitive parts, so I had a short ending, but they did a gr8 job! My Current Rating: 4.2

05. Boys Like Girls Feat. Taylor Swift “Two Is Better Than One (Mike Rizzo Radio Edit)”

LOL!! I wrote tha title down before seein’ tha artists, and I was like, “BRAND NEW DANCE SONG w/MR MIXIN’!!” But, it’s a HM; it should be GR8 though!! >>> Glad ta hear tha MR beat again!! MCH got their (I think) Lenny B mix of their “Love Drunk” song (their last song). I wonder if they’ll get this one? It’s aight for a start, but I rather hear TS; where iz she? She should’ve done tha chorus. Now, she’s on tha 2^nd verse, and she sounds better than tha 1^st verse. Glad she added to tha song ‘cause it would’ve been too boring. BTW, we’re only 5 songs in, and I have ta say, “LOL @ all tha number songs!” LOL @ tha last minute; sounds kinda long when it repeats tha chorus? My Rating: 3.9

06. Jameerah “All Eyes On Me (Dance Remix Edit)”

Saw iPR IC this, and for a second, I thought this was Jeremih (who sung “Birthday Sex” earlier this year), tha R&B singer. I don’t know of this male/female, so I’m curious why this iz just a “Dance Remix Edit”… >>> It sounds more Dance in tha beginning than borderline. Plus, tha intro iz over 15 seconds long… It’s a gurl, so that’s a plus! She sounds pretty good for this song on this GR8 beat!! I almost thought that chorus was familiar; maybe I heard it on MCMixtape? Then again, I think it’s brand new! NICE job on tha chorus wit tha GR8 beat!! Sounds like a Robbins song, but when I check ta see who signed it, I’m sure it’s gotta be like a Next Plateau or someone else! My Rating: 4.2

07. David Guetta Feat. Estelle “One Love (Radio Edit)”

Anotha number song, lol!! MCD got a song wit DG & Chris Willis “Gettin’ Over;” I thought that was gonna be on here. That was just a decent song wit a catchy beat. I have a feelin’ I’ll like this one better, easily!! >>> Tha beginning sounds REAL GOOD; I like tha slow beat! I KNOW it gon pick up GR8!! I thought I heard tha chorus for a second, but that was just tha beginning of it. Now, I hear it, and it sounds GR8 wit tha upbeat music!! Nice job from Guetta once again; LUVIN’ this CD so far!! :tu Enjoyin’ every bit of this one; gr8 follow-up to “Sexy Bitch”! :tu Currently, this takes tha crown for best song on here! However, I think it’ll be surpassed soon! My Rating: 4.5

08. Iyaz “Replay (Jason Nevins Radio Edit)”

I figured this would be on here… I also saw on a different PO that this has 140 BPM. I got ta witness it on MCD when I heard it earlier in tha week, so I’m assumin’, sadly, that this iz tha fastest song on here… Lemme review and see what I got ta say! >>> Yea, tha beat iz DEFINITELY NICE for JN, so this iz a DEFINITE plus! I wasn’t even too big about tha song itself, but this makes it a gr8 HM! Tha fast beat EASILY reminds me of Carmen Reece “Right Here” (Nevins mix)! Tha only thing iz, Nevins changes up tha style while keepin’ tha same BPM unlike other producers/remixers!! This has catchy lyrics, so that’s a plus. My mom liked this song ‘cause it reminded her of Sean Kingston (‘cause of tha young Jamaican voice). No wonder, SK discovered him, lol. I liked tha bridge; that was good ta fit in here! Keepin’ this CD up REAL GOOD!! My Rating: 4.4

09. Tiёsto Feat. CC Sheffield “Escape Me (Radio Edit)”

Anotha new MCD song… I knew I was gonna see a bunch of their recent adds on here. For a second, I thought they had a different mix, but it’s tha same. Now, gonna give this catchy song tha review! >>> LOL, did she say, “Failure iz my favorite thing?” LOL… Either way, yea, this iz one of tha catchy songs, especially tha chorus!! Nice job on tha 1^st verse, but it really sounds gr8 on tha chorus! Her “drunk” bar lyrics sound REAL good on tha verses too wit a song like this! Tiёsto be pickin’ up some catchy/gr8 Dance vocalists on these songs here; glad to be feelin’ ‘em! My Rating: 4.3

10. Patric McFly “Teenage Dirthouse (DJs From Mars Radio Edit)”

Out of tha previous 9 songs that were on this PO, only tha Lucas Prata one was tha one that was extremely new. This iz now tha 2^nd one that gon be real new. LOL @ that title! Looks like a good mix name (from tha “Love Deep Inside” song), so let’s see this song! >>> LMAO!! Tha beginning sounded SO “Non-Dance,” but it sounds like a coverup to (what I thought tha title was gonna be) Wheatus “Teenage Dirtbag”, prolly one of tha only Rock type of songs I liked (‘cause of tha title and funny vocals)!! It took 50 seconds for tha beat ta kick in, but yea, this iz on tha Klaas type of tip. It’s REAL catchy for me, so this iz DEFINITELY a NICE cover-up! It REALLY reminds me of “Broken Strings” from Carefree wit tha part (like at tha end) wit all tha repeatin’/dubbin’ wit tha beat! REAL NICE/catchy job here, lol!! My Rating: 4.4

EDIT: :rofl ROFL @ tha labels that signed this!! :rofl Parker Recordings/Next Plateau!! I was thinkin’ like a different label, but LOL/GR8 job for them signin’ somethin’ different!

11. Cobra Starship “Hot Mess (DJ Circuit Remix Clean Edit)”
LOL, keepin’ tha Rock songs comin’, lol! I really enjoyed their “GGGB” song, but without tha female, how will they follow up on this song? >>> Not really into tha slow start so far… It’s okay for what it iz; not sure how’ll much I’ll be into it. I would’ve asked Mike Rizzo to remix it this time ‘cause he would’ve done better! Sad to say, but there’s no “feel good” level for this remix for me. I didn’t even write much… MCH, you want it? My Rating: 3.0

½time: Looks like one of tha BETTA PO starts here!! REAL, REAL GOOD mix of HOT Dance songs and 1 or 2 good HMs!! Keep this goin’ so tha average CD rating can be GR8, which it’s a NICE 4.1 currently!!

12. Kelli Crossley “Hostage (Smash Mode Radio Edit)”

Looks like it gon be a GR8 female! Neva heard this, so not sure if it gon be on tha HM side or Dance side. Wit SM’s slow/gr8 beats, let’s see what kinda combination we can come up wit!! >>> Yea, a real slow beat here. I feel like this PO all of a sudden iz gettin’ slower… After Kristine Elezaj “Let You Know,” I’ve been REALLY likin’ SM’s beats!! Tha verse sounds pretty HOT! :) …And, tha chorus sounds REAL GOOD too, ESPECIALLY “when tha beat comes in and takes me;” SO AGREE wit dat line!! :tu Real nice job on tha 2^nd verse; sounds like GR8 Dance airplay or replay value for me! ;) My Rating: 4.6

13. Leona Lewis “Happy (Jason Nevins Radio Edit)”

LOL @ this one here too! Just like “Replay,” I saw this mix be on another PO, havin’ 138 BPM. And an lol story wit this song: One of tha program directors from one of tha Northeast PA radio stations came to our class for a presentation, and he showed us all tha “rotation types” (A rotation [which iz heavy], B, C, new, power currents, and stiffs). This was a “stiff” record for them, meanin’ it didn’t do good wit them (tha original). I had tha honor (wit someone else) to guide tha PD out to his car too, lol! Anyway, let’s hear tha mix (might’ve heard it slowed down on MCMixtape)! >>> It was a real slow start, but tha typical Nevins came in at about :31! LOL, for a slow song, it went wild @ :53! :rofl Just like tha “Replay” song, this sounds GR8; these beats are more crazy though!! Tha rest sounds good too; don’t really need ta say anything else about it. My Rating: 4.3

14. Robbie Rivera Feat. Adrian “Closer To The Sun (Radio Edit)”

Tha 2^nd ½ iz off to a REAL GR8 start!! I’m not gonna look at tha ID for tha next track ‘til it ends! HOPE IT’S A BRAND NEW DANCE SONG!!!!! >>> Well, it sounds brand new so far, but off to a decent start. LOL @ tha long intro for this okay start. I hear tha male vocals, and it’s soundin’ like a slow, vocal Trance song for a start. Might sound like it would do pretty good in tha Dance world; it’s an okay song for me. Tha artist almost sounds like a Rock/Pop artist tryna go Dance or somethin’. I’m guessin’ tha song iz called “Closer To The Sun”? I don’t see much goin’ on wit tha chorus also… LOL, I guessed right on when tha song was ending, as I began to type “my rating.” My Rating: 3.4

EDIT: Oh, a new RR song. Now, I KNOW Dance outlets’ll get it fast!

15. Jennifer Lopez “Fresh Out The Oven (Karmatronic Radio Edit)”

This looks like it’ll be “fresh out tha oven!” I got a Hex Hector mix, but that didn’t sound correct, so maybe this’ll be tha better mix… with vocals! >>> Sounds like real slow vocals wit a pretty catchy beat in tha beginning. Pretty good 1^st verse, I’d say. Tha chorus added some TM&WR soundin’ elements in it, so it gave me a better feelin’. LOL @ her sexiness in tha 2^nd verse! I guess PO fucked up tha ID since Pitbull’s not in this; thumbs down to tha falseness, whether I wanted ta hear him or not. :td I find it funny that they took Pitbull’s part out… WHEN EVERY DANCE STATION STILL PLAYS HIS 2 SONGS HE PUT OUT THIS YEAR! :roll :confused My Rating: 3.6

16. Loverush UK! & Molly Bancroft “Fountains Of Youth (Kinky Roland Radio Edit)”

LOL! FINALLY ON PO!! I wish they would’ve had better mixes. Hearin’ tha beginning, and it sounds exactly like MCD’s version. I thought they had a Club Mix shortened, which iz what I did wit my club mix. This was a pretty big one for me; too bad only “late night” for MCD, although it sounds like a GR8 late night song! At 2:16, that’s where it’s RE’d different from my 5:00 version. Gotta LUV Molly to tha fullest, ESPECIALLY on Dance trax!! :tu Oh, it sounds different at 2:50; that’s a RE cut off, compared to MCD & my version, which both just take 5 minutes out of tha club mix. Glad PO finally got a RE for people, but I don’t know who else gon get it… I like tha original version better, although it hella slow. Nice different ending wit tha fading too! My Current Rating: 4.4

17. Janet “Make Me (Moto Blanco Radio Edit)”

PO was REAL impatient last month to get tha orig.! I knew this was gonna be on here, but LOL @ them puttin’ it further down than tha original version (which was #13 last month)! MCD got this, but I hear tha original more on there, lol. It was first a lil’ discoish, and now, wit MB on tha beat, it’s just too discoful, lol/smh! It ain’t that bad for me, but it ain’t goin’ into 2010, lol! I didn’t say much about it, but I think it’s somewhat good for what it iz. My Current Rating: 3.7

18. Laylah “Outta Control (Chris “The Greek” Panaghi Radio Edit)”

Lookin’ good on tha ID a WHOLE LOT!!! REALLY lookin’ forward ta this one!! ;) >>> LOL… It has a borderline taste for a start, but it should get betta! This might be a weird song… I hear tha beat, and not much iz goin’ on; it still sounds pretty good though. Almost like a slower version of Kelita. Of course, for a “predicted” sexy female like this, I would’ve liked ta hear more lyrics. I guess it shouldn’t matter now ‘cause if she comes out wit somethin’ new in tha future, I should hear more! My Rating: 3.8

Anotha new song, which looks anticipatin’! I have a feelin’ it’ll have nearly tha same vibe as tha last song, only wit more lyrics; let’s see! >>> I was right about tha start, but for somethin’ 4 minutes almost, I betta hear some lyrics, lol! LOL @ tha “sip patron” parts, lol. This iz above average, so I guess this iz a plus. There should be more happenin’ wit tha music, just like how he handled tha DJ Russ Harris “Standing In The Rain” song from last year! LOL @ tha urban-borderline lyrics on tha bridge; it sounded good, and tha beat sounded REAL nice throughout tha 2^nd chorus! Catchy right here, but I think I liked tha Laylah song betta. My Rating: 3.7

Last year for Song #21, it was tha infamous… “Sweat (The Drip Drop Song)”! :rofl Now, what do we got this time??? >>> Speakin’ of Early 2000s, it sounds like it gon be REAL fast for tha beginning “Dance/Trance” sounds! LOL @ this song and dat chorus! If only it was a fast Dance song; too bad it regular speed. That was an LOL chorus!! LOL, tha song keeps turnin’ to different styles; REAL FAST rappin’ now!! :rofl Maybe there’s a reason why this picked up where “Sweat (The Drip Drop Song)” was last year as #21! Even addin’ Nelly-type of Southern slang wit tha “down herre” (as his “Hot In Herre” song) sayin’, lol. LOL @ this song bein’ nearly 4 minutes long; I would think a minute less ‘cause of how it iz, lol! After “Fountains Of Youth,” this PO REALLY went “naked” with all tha different kinda songs, lol! As weird as it has been, wit a name “Talentino,” I expect this to be ANYTHING, lol!! What tha hell will happen when I hear this? ANYTHING could jump outta my computer screen!!! >>> LMAO @ tha start!! I KNEW this was gonna be weird! Tha last song was rappin’, and this song iz more on tha hyper-party type of rappin’, lol!! This iz hella catchy, ESPECIALLY tha chorus!! :tu :rofl Although I don’t know why tha Puerto Rican type of styled songs keep comin’ back, I must say that this iz good. Tha rappin’s a lil’ weird, but tha chorus iz watz up! LOL!! My Rating: 4.3
