Fallin’ a lil’ behind with my schedule, as I’ve been oversleepin’ almost every day! Just seen tha next Dance Radio edition of Promo Only, so I had to drink coffee & take a caffeine pill to make me progress through my behindness. As I just finished my live review for tha previous edition, it’s now tyme for my review for Promo Only Dance Radio March 2022! Lookin’ forward ta progressin’ with this future; can’t wait till tha year shows itself off! For now, let’s see what we got with this edition…! Start Tyme: 4:20 PM | End Tyme: 6:00 PM
 
 
Disclaimer: I type how I wanna type (frequent use of “tha” instead of “the,” “iz” instead of “is,” “a”-ending words instead of “er,” and a few others). I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0; each rating iz my own opinion! I only please myself wit my ratings! As long as it’s jammin’ enough for me to like it, I like it how I wanna like it! I look for beats, then vocals, and then lyrics. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings. If a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much really love it, as it’s considered mindblowin’ when I hear it! Any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating. Anything I type before “ >>> ” iz what I’m sayin’ before I listen to tha song; anything after I type “ >>> ” iz what I think of tha song while I’m listening to it. Sometymes, I may not rate a song too high on its first listen, but in tha future, I could be playin’ it more than a higher-rated song…

01. The Chainsmokers “High”

Am I seein’ somethin’ eerie? This my 2,014^th review & 2morrow’s Valentine’s Day (2/14). If you take out tha “0” in tha “2,014^th”, you’ll get 2/14! Anyway, note tha tyme I started this review, too! Anywayz, as far as this song, it’s more of an okay pop song than a dance song to me. Like, even tha genre on tha POOL player says, “Top 40”. As far as Top 40 goes, hope they appreciate it more/as much as tha dance world does. Lyrics are definitely catchy & what’s up; it’s just, to me, if only it had a full-on dance vibe. For now, tha closest to that iz BPM, appreciatin’ a Quinten Circle Remix! Wow! One exact year after tha inescapable “Friday” kicked off tha 3/21 edition, here comes a “High” to kick off tha 3/22 edition! Still, regardless of its slowness, I let tha feeling of a “High” lead tha way! I feel like I enjoy it more as a bonus song: guilty pleasure for dance but a thumbs up for pop. My favorite part iz near tha end, at 2:35; definitely a dope-soundin’ ending! Too bad it only had its 15, like, seconds of fame… I guess they gotta be like what’s on Music Choice Dance, right now (Viiq “Heartless”), lol! Be “Heartless” to havin’ a song based off that final 15 seconds, one day! I feel like I’m ahead of my tyme, just thinkin’ like that…! My Current Rating: 3.2
 
 
02. Luude feat. Colin Hay “Down Under”

Lookin’ at it makes me realize it’s a Diplo’s Revolution track—a fast one, at that. As far as tha song, itself, in my review… >>> Yeah, this iz definitely a nice lil’ jungle start, with tha dark/eerie music start! Based off tha “Down Under” ‘80s track, at least it was redone, in a jungle/DnB way! Chorus makes my mind shift more toward tha guilty pleasure side but surprisingly, it’s those verses that keep my interest alive. Weird that I would like tha lack of DnB beats’ part more than tha full-on DnB beats’ part! Either way, this could go either way with me but we’ll let tha future decide more on that one! My Rating: 4.0
 
 
03. SHOUSE “Won’t Forget You”

Seems like tha world was ready to be hit with tha next SHOUSE track & here we are! As far as tha track, itself, I like how it follows tha path of “Love Tonight”. Seems like they know tha formula & know that tha tyming of tha formula’s right! Nice lil’ musical breakdown after tha 2^nd chorus, b4 tha 2^nd verse kicked in; gotta “feel” it! I’ono if this one’ll overplay itself? I don’t think we’ll “forget” it, tho; it’s here to make a nice impact! Catchy vocals, music & tha ending part’s pretty dope, too! Just keep addin’ everything up! My Current Rating: 4.5
 
 
04. Michael Calfan & Nadia Ali “3, 2, 1”

I feel like I’ll be able to appreciate this one but by how much…?! >>> Definitely likin’ tha beginning/intro; feelin’ tha anticipation from these two, already! Sounds like a nice lil’ 1^st verse from Nadia, comin’ through with tha good vox… As far as tha chorus, it’s cool but tha drop definitely surpasses it; great job, y’all! Fit all this greatness into only 136 seconds! Awesomeness! Nice lil’ 2^nd verse, too, to fit in with tha full-on vibes! My Rating: 4.7
 
 
05. John Newman “Waiting For A Lifetime”

Y’all comin’ through for Mr. Newman, here… Will it be a worthful trip? >>> Beginning sounds like it’s gonna be a pop-dance track. I’ono how much I can appreciate it but at least tha music’s pretty energetic, on tha chorus. Yeah, we got a bunch of repetitive lyrics on tha chorus but I guess it’s meant to be “for a” mantra, lol? Seems like it’ll be anotha one of those guilty-pleasure songs; anotha guilty pleasure, lol…! Not much goin’ on with tha bridge part fa me, here… I dunno, how will mainstream-everything do with this one? My Rating: 3.6

They’ve put out some dope releases, last year; definitely what’s up! Lookin’ forward ta hearin’ anotha one by them…! >>> Sounds like a cool lil’ music start with some unpredictable male vocals? Music’s pretty much on an up-there level; sounds nice! Iz tha listener ‘posed to experience “Vertigo”, while listenin’ to this? I guess it depends on where your mind’s really at? Needless ta say, good blend of these housey male vocals & tha upbeat vibes of D&J! My Rating: 4.1

Definitely lookin’ forward to a new Warren track, especially with a feature listed!! Let’s go, Robbins!! >>> Sounds like a good Robbins song, tha way I would have known to love one!! Yes!! Definitely feelin’ tha chorus & music, to tha max!! Hearin’ tha 2^nd verse’s start & yeah, “It’s been so long since I felt this feeling!” Haven’t got a good “feeling” for a dance track in a lil’ minute! Now, we got somethin’ exciting like this to lead tha way!! Definitely feelin’ its energy & I hope tha dance world appreciates this one as much as they loved “Dream About U”! I know this a special one, in my book!! Tha lil’ music part after tha 2^nd chorus sounds str8; I dig it… Hearin’ tha bridge & I’m definitely feelin’ this LEXI, to tha bone! Great job, War-to-tha-LEX! Great new track I’ve got a taste of, recently; definitely what’s up! Gotta luv when tha Këper comes through, includin’ with this JEN! Gotta luv those vocals, as well as tha music & build-up! Tha drop’s awesome with that repetitive vocal, in tha background; addictive…! Awesome collab—Mr. Këper alwayz brings tha new chicks to tha table! S/O to good taste; best of luck in tha future! Also, gotta always feel tha Këper’s 15-second outro tradition; good shit! My Current Rating: 4.6

As far as me, in my own music game fa 22 years, it’s only decent; it’s not makin’ me “running back.” Regardless, I guess tha dance world gon get ready ta really, really, “Really Really”—like Kevin Gates, lol—really eat this track up, like vanilla-flavored ice cream? *Slurp* My Current Rating: 3.0

Me trippin’? Really? Literally? Nine years ago, on tha 3/13 PO, Swedish House Mafia made a late appearance on there with “Don’t You Worry Child”. Now, here we are, nine years later, with almost tha same situation—“shituation,” as I like to put it, only a month newer than tha September-released “DYWC”. Thanx to “DYWC”’s appearance, it lead to my 1^st-eva PO phone call! Either way, iconic, ironic & definitely dope to appear on here! Reminds me of my good tymes in Florida & risin’ up with my returning fast-and-efficient-paced work ethic; definitely what’s up! Also, this regular radio edit’s definitely tha way ta be, unlike how tha shorter version seems to rush & take out tha nice-soundin’ music part, as tha 3:00 mark approaches, smh! At least it’s here & here to stay…! But yeah, hope tha mainstream & err-body continue to appreciate this one! When I seen it was on here, I almost thought y’all went right into gettin’ tha Chris Lake Remix Radio Edit, now on BPM. However, just a regular version, here; basically, it’s like a bonus. Shout out ta Axwell, S-Ingrosso & S-Angello! Tha real-valued millionaires!! My Current Rating: 4.8

Definitely feelin’ good about tha drop; definitely what’s up! Categorize this with a Tritonal-like vibe? Like, in a male-vocal version…! Definitely feelin’ great about tha title; gotta live “A Big Life”!! That’s why, I can get up at 4:00 AM, type up last month’s review, do tha editin’ for tha live review of it, get a haircut, get my tri-weekly playlist ready, enjoy a lil’ of tha Super Bowl action & go to my full-tymer, all in tha same day! Feels like I can anticipate JK but after my 1^st listen, I wasn’t sure if I got tha best vibe outta it? >>> Female vocals are cool; just not a fan of tha music. Also, tha drop part doesn’t sound nice with tha pitched-down female. Like, tha vocals are great tha way they are; no need to distort greatness! Let tha dance music feel good; if it’s all tha way on a feel-good tip, it don’t have to be “cool”. As far as tha song, itself, yeah, it’ll have to be a grower for me. Just sounds like how DJ Sammy’s most-recent single was, when I heard it; this on that level. My Rating: 3.5

GT was lucky to get to know me, tho; props on tha luv! As far as this track, I heard it from tha POOL player, recently. Not really a fan of tha supa-strong vocals but then, everything sounds all right durin’ tha drop! Like, tha upbeat music, tha vocal chops & how tha supa-strong vocals sound just strong; awesome threat! Gotta luv it! Not too sure how this will do in tha future… Will it grow on me? Will tha dance world appreciate it & make it an anthem? Hmm… As for me, it’ll have to keep growin’. I guess I’ll “roll with tha punches”? My Current Rating: 4.2

I kinda like how tha drop sounds with this “When I’m down, down, down, down, down” refrain! A lil’ betta than an average pop song, this acoustic-soundin’ dance track has half pop vibe, half progressive. Guess I got a good chunk of 50/50? My Rating: 4.2

At 0:40, tha music slows down & tha vocals lay down tha “answers” to what we may think of this track. Hearin’ tha chorus & it’s pretty nice; I definitely feel how tha vocals build up! It’s like a dope “fire”; really feelin’ tha strength! Now, if only tha music was that strong! Just not feelin’ tha music as much as those vocals, tho; sounds like it’s meant to be cooler with tha music & more feel-good with tha vocals? Of course, there’s alwayz a special sound or part hidden from CG after I have some doubts! Awesome way to end tha track! Feel tha “fire”!! My Rating: 4.3

Definitely feelin’ tha collab, here; interestin’, to tha fullest…! Surprised it made its way on to this edition! Not an ordinary oddball, after all? Some parts of this track don’t really fit with tha feeling of how my ears react to it. However, with tha first minute of tha track, it’s pretty nice with how Romy lays it down. Romy has always had a unique voice & vibe with The xx, over tha past 13 years I’ve known her. Tha chorus sounds cool & catchy with how these “lights” must be “out”! Yeah, even tho I like tha faster BPM, tha last minute throws me off with tha mix of tha repetitive parts. Either way, anotha awesome collab & I hope Romy keeps up! My Current Rating: 4.0

Endin’ this edition with a track that turned out ta slowly grow on me. Not tha biggest song with me but I alwayz enjoy it when it comes on. Str8 from Beta BPM, here comes tha remix & now, it’s here. Sounds good with tha Joel Corry spin on this “Shore”; definitely nice, includin’ tha vocal chops! Nice job droppin’ & choppin’ tha drop, J-Corr! J-Corr with tha “Shore”—“Distant Shore”, that iz!! Gotta luv how I come up with what I say! Yesterday, my autistic diagnosis turned 21 years-old! Can tha puzzle pieces say, “Drink up?!” Crazy!! As far as tha rest of this remix, good for some continuous energy—good bits that came toward tha end of 2021! My Current Rating: 4.0
 
 
Overall: Good shit, good shit! Lots of good vibes throughout this edition; sounded better than my live review’s! Feelin’ real good about next month & tha spring; this edition gives me that hope! I’m glad I did get everything accomplished all in one day, too! Talk about productivity! Now, tyme ta get my grub on fa dinner & then, start tha full-tyme week in less than four hours!
