Finally gettin’ anotha free moment again, lol. Time ta do tha review for ”Promo Only: Dance Radio November 2010”! Usually, November’s pretty lucky and tha tracklisting looks very dancey. So, let’s see what happens! Start Time: 9:57 PM | End Time: 11:36 PM

1. I rate each song from 1.0 – 5.0. To determine my favorites, I will differ tha 4.0 ratings (if a song gets at least a 4.0 rating from me, I love it already. If at least a 4.6 rating, I pretty much REALLY LOVE it as it’s considered “mindblowin’” when I hear it) so any song can earn up to a maximum of a 5.0 rating.

To tha artist/producer: Don’t get catchy feelin’s if I don’t like a song on a first listen. Things could change in tha future as I could love it, so you neva know!

01. Rihanna “Only Girl (In The World) (Mixin’ Marc & Tony Svejda Radio Mix)”

Startin’ to get addicted to tha original so I almost feel like there’s no need for a mix. MCD got a plain Bimbo Jones mix but I have a feelin’ this’ll be good ‘cause MM&TS seem to be doin’ they thang! >>> Sounds plain for tha start but at :45 wit tha chorus, it picks up, soundin’ like tha original—upgraded. Well, they did better mixin’ other songs that were just average. I guess tha better original version doesn’t need a mix, lol. My Rating: 3.5

02. Axwell Feat. Errol Reid “Nothing But Love”
ROFL, for some reason, I thought this was, like, #13 or somethin’, lol. I didn’t expect it to come up so soon but MCD’s showin’ it “love,” lol. Kinda just an okay song but sounds betta when reviewin’ it (I guess ‘cause of it playin’ on my boombox). Chorus iz catchy, but a lil’ ehh at tha same time wit tha repetitiveness. I do like tha bridge wit tha computerized vocals, lol. My Current Rating: 3.7

03. Shakira Feat. Dizzee Rascal “Loca (Freemasons Radio Mix)”

ROFL, thought this was later, too. This iz more on tha sexy side. Tha music’s cool but doesn’t sound that FM-ish. ROFL @ Shakira recruitin’ DR. It’s like, she didn’t want an American rapper or somethin’, lol? Just keepin’ it all non-Domestic, lol. It iz a good collab and sounds better on my boombox, too. Funny dat MCD plays a radio edit where “shit” iz said in DR’s verse; funny. My Current Rating: 4.2

04. Armin Van Buuren vs. Sophie Ellis Bextor “Not Giving Up On Love”

Sad that 131 iz tha new “fastest” for PO. Caught a lil’ bit on MCD but I waited for tha review. >>> Good collab and interestin’ sound, too. Sounds good, especially tha chorus; good job, SEB, on tha comeback! Sounds better after tha 1^st chorus? Definitely nice shit here! It’s about TIME another AVB song hit PO! So many were released onto mainstream sources but “Going Wrong” was tha last one that hit PO, smh. Damn, this was real short, lol? I know “Broken Tonight” has about tha same length but that didn’t seem that short. My Rating: 4.3

05. Daniela “You & I”

Ms. “Every Word”/”Summerfish” girl? Looks like it although not Nervous on tha signin’, Robbins instead. I have AL for this, so let’s hear how good it iz. I have a feelin’ it’ll have that Ron Reeser & Dan Saenz sound; I guess I’m sayin’ dat ‘cause “Above All”’s playing on MCD right now, lol. >>> LOL, not tha RR&DS sound but a sound that’s uplifting and I like! Wow, I feel AL buildin’ up on this; so far, soundin’ hotter and hotter! Maybe it iz a different Daniela ‘cause I’m recheckin’ and I see that tha other one has two L’s in her name? Tha chorus iz pretty hot and tha song itself, overall! :tu My Rating: 4.5

06. Jean-Claude Ades vs. Lenny Fontana Feat. Tyra Juliette “Nite Time”

Call it tha PO fulla “vs.”, lol! This has tha most I’ve eva seen! Let’s keep tha bangerz comin’ along! >>> LOL, we have a weird start here but I have a feelin’ tha music’ll be good… Okay, music’s kinda plain for a start and those vocals keep goin’ here, lol. LOL, funny-soundin’ song. Tha music iz good during tha chorus, so this iz a plus here. :tu These funny-soundin’ vocals make me think this’ll be big in tha mainstream or somethin’. Catchy-soundin’ flow wit how tha weird vocals are delivered. My Rating: 4.1

07. Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick Feat. Shawnee Taylor “Live Your Life”

MCD plays this pretty often. I liked tha “Nothing Better” song better from earlier in tha Summer wit Shena. This iz still good/decent for a song. Tha way that “give it up…” part sounds, it reminds me of a song that’s, like, huge in mixshows or somethin’; I can feel it, lol. Tha last bunch of songs (excluding Rihanna) have been on tha shorter side. I dunno about this one, soundin’ on tha plain side, bein’ 3:43… Prolly could’ve been a lil’ shorter but w/e, it don’t really matter. My Current Rating: 3.7

08. Baker “Echo (Mike Rizzo Funk Generation Radio Mix)”

I see AL on this. Lemme make sure if it was Dance though… New label, so I’ll assume until I hear it! >>> Male vocals here that fit pretty good wit tha hot MR music… Kinda HM-ish on tha 1^st verse so I’m not sure. For some reason, I’m slowly becomin’ distracted and bored as tha song goes on… My Rating: 3.6

09. J786 “Rock Tonight (Dave Audé Radio Edit)”

Anotha unknown for me and tha label. Let’s see if this iz better than tha MR-mixed song… >>> Music sounds pretty good but we have that HM/male vocals sound here… This may be a lil’ more on tha Dance tip wit tha chorus although it might have to get a 3.6 from me, too, to tie-breaker it up. Ooh, hidden female vocals in tha bridge; how unexpected (in a good way). Same rating but this breaks tha tie-breaker in tha end. My Rating: 3.6

10. Ultraviolet Sound “Suck My Kiss (Johnny Vicious Radio Edit)”

Could’ve been tha 3^rd one in a row that was an unknown/new label. But, I saw this on PO Mainstream Radio, so I think this gon be an official HM. I like tha title, though, and tha mix could be hot. So, I expect this to be hotter than tha last few songs! >>> LOL, a “mwah” before tha 1^st verse started. Sounds like this’ll have more success in tha Dance world than tha Pop world for some reason (I know how some of these songs are when their label iz unknown but sounds Pop-ish at tha same time). I thought tha music would be a lil’ betta but it’s still cool; I like how it sounds during tha chorus. BTW, tha chorus iz pretty hot, too. LOL, even ended wit dat tasty (lol) kiss! My Rating: 3.9

½time: Sounds like a pretty good, Dance-type CD here for PO! I’m sure tha 2^nd ½ gon be better, so I gon get hyped up right now! Currently, tha average CD rating sits at a 3.9.

11. Swedish House Mafia vs. Tinie Tempah “Miami 2 Ibiza (Clean Radio Edit)”

My college station iz slowly becoming a lil’ dancey this semester. They got Underworld’s “ALAF” and they even picked up “One (Your Name)”. LOL, let’s see how dis gon sound for a follow-up… >>> LOL, uh oh, rappin’! :rofl Sounds like Kanye West a lil’ bit. I automatically didn’t think my college station would pick this up but after hearin’ tha rappin’, they’ll prolly get it. They’re not too big wit Rap songs but they do get some songs that are from non-mainstream areas. LOL, hot chorus and once again, doin’ tha damn thang wit dat music after tha chorus!! Interestin’ letter-spelled words in tha 2^nd verse; thumbs up! My Rating: 4.3

12. Mischa Daniels Feat. J-Son “Where You Wanna Go”

A comeback here… Looking forward (as always)! >>> LOL, back to tha weird male vocals again. Reminds me of David Guetta/Kid Cudi “Memories” although this iz pretty interestin’ wit tha vocal/good music combo. Pretty cool for a song although I’m not too interested in hearin’ tha chorus 2x each time. My Rating: 3.7

13. Julissa Veloz “Predator (Ray Roc & Gabe Ramos Radio Edit)”

Glad to see not one but TWO Carrillo-signed songs on this CD! Her “Take Control” song from tha March CD was good, although had little exposure. I’m lookin’ forward to hearin’ her new song!! >>> Sounds more on tha sexy tip here wit how tha music sounds and her vocal delivery. Although 3:43, it sounds like this song iz goin’ kinda quick… Ooh, “Predator” for a title, I see! DEFINITELY nice here and although I sadly don’t think this’ll get that much exposure, I’ll be here to support it. I’m sure I’ll be addin’ it in a good time ‘cause if I add it December or January, I ain’t gotta worry about goin’ through SO MUCH HELL wit college!! Tha bridge sounds pretty hot, too! Julissa should be one of those that should get lots of exposure in tha Dance world. She’s pretty hot for a female and has my anticipation, too! My Rating: 4.3

14. Sito Rock a.k.a. Sito Oner Rock “Let Go”

MCD got this around tha same time they got this new Pitbull song that has, like, 100% Dance in tha beat. Because of dat, when I first saw them play this, I was like, “Wow, anotha new mainstream artist havin’ a Dance-beat sound?” This so sounds like it could be tha next mainstream hit mainly ‘cause of its sound and tha old “Don’t Go” sample. Tha beat’s real catchy (of course) and I really like dat chorus. It’s almost like a “don’t fuck wit me”-type, lol! Real interestin’ song that came outta nowhere for me, lol! My Current Rating: 4.2

15. Liviu Hodor Feat. Tara “Happy For You”

3:50 on this length and somethin’ that looks anticipatin’. Checkin’ to see who signed it and it’s Ultra. What will this result in? >>> Sounds like it’s gonna be a slow Dance song. Now, it sounds like it’s gonna be quiet too; tha vocals are pretty quiet. Definitely a lil’ interestin’ here, lol. Could be tha next duet to do it big? Tha chorus came outta nowhere and iz pretty hot wit tha Tara lady. My Rating: 4.1

16. Tiffany Dunn “Shut The Front Door (Got My Girls) (Seamus Haji Radio Mix)”

LOL, this song… MCD plays it quite often and it sounds like it’s crazy, lol. Sounds like it could annoy people but it’s good to have anotha female. Saw tha label and it’s on tha borderline tip, fa sho. >>> Thought this would be tha MCD mix (they don’t list a mix) but this iz a new mix and I’m likin’ how it sounds. It distracts me from all those vocals throughout tha pre-chorus and chorus. Neva recognized tha “GMG” part in tha MCD version. LOL, I like tha “shut, shut, shut tha front door” part in tha MCD version; why does it have it less on this mix? Oh, there it iz at 2:14 but wit no music, lol? Oh, now it builds up. It’s like mixin’ ketchup wit soup, lol! My Rating: 3.7

17. Celia “My Story”

Definitely have an AL on this. Looks like it’s not Domestic, yet, ‘cause Soltrenz signed. Let’s see how good this iz, finally… >>> DEFINITELY a very hot start wit tha “Stereo Love”-kinda sound, lol. Looks like anotha REAL HOT song comin’ outta nowhere on this CD!! Tha vocals DEFINITELY get a plus here and it sounds like this’ll be my top song, beating out Daniela? More softer on tha music than tha Daniela song but this has a huge turn on wit how it sounds, lol! :tu Damn, only 1:03 left and tha 2^nd chorus iz on. I think I gon crave for this! Ooh, even a bridge takin’ over; good shit! Hope it gets some NICE exposure like “Stereo Love”! My Rating: 4.6

I think somethin’ funny gon come outta this wit Ultra on tha signin’, too, lol! >>> Sounds more serious for a Dance sound instead, lol; I judged it wrong at first. ROFL, maybe it iz pretty funny wit tha chorus, lol! How random and so rapid! :rofl Then, you get tha pretty good music after, lol! This iz another mainstream-ish Dance song that’s pretty interestin’. I guess we gon have a GR8 2011! Plus, I FINALLY have a car now, which could draw more airplay! My Rating: 4.2

19. Jared Dietch & Mitch LJ Feat. Polina “Limit Is The Sky”

Just saw tha label and once I looked at tha artist, I just remembered that Jared Dietch iz The Camel Rider’s real name (which no less, tha label iz Camel Rider itself). I even know of Polina, too, so DEFINITELY AL on this!! >>> I’m likin’ tha quiet start. Will this sound a lil’ like “Get Together” wit tha music? Well, not much goin’ on in tha beat although my interest iz still stickin’ around. Ooh, tha beat’s soundin’ pretty nice @ 1:01; definite plus! MCD should get this. They got a song wit Polina as an import in ’04 and loved “Get Together” so I don’t see why not. That part from 2:10 – 2:17 sounds hot wit just a beat! My Rating: 4.2

20. Ronnie Sumrall Feat. Shefali “Breakin’ Out (Sted E & Hybrid Heights Radio Edit)”

Last song, and it looks like anotha duet! Tha 2^nd Carrillo song to make this CD and I’m ALWAYS down for tha anticipation wit clean earholes dedicated to anticipatin’ music, lol! :rofl How will it sound? Very anticipated… >>> Startin’ off wit Shefali, soundin’ pretty hot. Interestin’ lyrics… They’re both on tha chorus and it’s not bad. Sounds like there’s not much goin’ on here but I’ll keep listenin’… Okay, RS’s vocalizin’ before tha 2^nd verse… Now, here he iz on tha 2^nd verse, soundin’ pretty good. He a late-night owl, as he “goes to bed at 4,” lol. Now, Shefali’s takin’ over tha 2^nd chorus, soundin’ better than tha 1^st one. Also, tha music’s gettin’ a lil’ better. Not bad on a 1^st listen although I’ll prolly just keep this until tha end of this year. I don’t think it’ll have tha strength to breakthrough into 2011 wit me. I’m confident in Julissa’s song though! My Rating: 3.8

Overall: Turned out to be a good CD for me! I liked that there was a lot of new Dance music and a bunch of different labels coming into play! Keep up tha good work, PO!
